KW...Thank you for letting US ALL remember there ARE TWO sides to every story....and that alot of us do not know what they are!

It looks to me that most of these posts belong on the blurt thread...public bashing is beneath alot of us. I believe that whatever went on between KW and Jail needs to stay there..between the 2 of them. Thanks, jazey... This thread *is* about everyone letting Jail know that we all love her, and that we want her to stay. But we also have to be willing to let her take a break if she needs it...

I want to thank all of you for your support and will go into it more in a bit.

I do want to say something first, which I feel is the most important:

I had a wonderful time while I visited KW. He was a true gentleman and a wonderful host. We had a great time together and he really did spoil me while I was there. Although I didn’t really consider it a vacation of sorts, he did, and made sure he catered to my every whim.

While I will not go into details about what we all did, I will say this—he took me to places I’d never been before. (Ok that didn’t come out quite right). What I mean is, he took me to my first MLB game. What a great time we had! The Tigers tied the game in the bottom of the 9th inning, and eventually won the game at the end of the 13th inning. Damn, those roasted almonds were tasty.

He took me sightseeing in downtown Detroit. What a thrill it was for me to be actually at Joe Louis Arena. You all know how much of a hockey fan I am. We saw the waterfront (the Detroit river), he showed me where the Ambassador Bridge crosses over into Windsor, Ontario, and I saw a paddle wheeler that had to be the largest one I had ever seen. And, call me blonde, but I never would have guessed that GM or Chrysler had their world headquarters there.

We took in two casinos. While I lost $60.00 in one casino, I made up for it and then some in another casino. I still laugh when I think of the smile he had on his face when I showed him I had won $185.00 on one slot machine.

He’s a fantastic cook. I had to sneak a day where I could finally do the cooking, while he was at work. So, I cooked him a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings. He’s also an immaculate housekeeper. I had to almost tie him to the couch so that I could wash up the dishes.

And so again I say, thank you, KW, for an absolutely wonderful vacation. You’re the best!!


Secondly, KW, I want to apologize for the bashing that was directed to you, on this thread. You don’t deserve it. I know at times we all feel that we need to get things off our chests. I just wish these thoughts had been discussed in pms as opposed to being brought out in front of everyone else. Whether they are between you and I, or others, that’s what pms are for, and in our case, Yahoo or the phone.

KW, you ARE a good host. You’re a GREAT host. You are also still a great friend. Please come back and post with me when you are ready to.

To everyone else, thank you again for your care and support. Please don’t make this thread a bashing thread to anyone. The main purpose of this thread was about all of you wanting me to stay. Yes, I will be back soon.

Jail, you truly are a wonderful person, you know that? Without putting any more on display than I already have, we've talked a bit over the past days, and I know how all of this has been affecting you. It takes one hell of a person to see beyond their own feelings, and to come out with something like what you've just posted here...

And KW, if I seemed harsh, I apologize. Jail is one of my best friends in Lit, and I suppose that I must admit that I overstepped my boundaries when I posted what I did. I kind of strayed from the original intent of starting this thread. So, you have my sincere apology if I offended you.

I also can understand needing to get away from Lit for a time. There are a few people here who may remember when I disappeared for a couple of months. It was over a relationship that was ended. I will admit I was devastated.

I came back after I had started to recover after some assistance from some Litsters who are R/L friends too. I still thank you for your patience. And look at my post count now!

You did~ when anyone assumes that they know what anothers relationship is all about based on limited information, the only perspective they can see is that which is reflected within their own thoughts and personal experience. The truth is that no one except those involved have a clue about what they feel in their hearts. Sometimes, it just needs to be that way.
