Quite a good summary of where we are with Canada.....In just a few weeks Trump has destroyed the strongest, closest, most peaceful and prosperous relationship between any two nations in history. I don't see that relationship being restored now that the damage's been done. It is sickening and saddening.

On approximately $1Trillion/year of trade between Canada and USA, the balance is actually less than $50 Billion to Canada's favor: it's virtually even. Given USA's dependency on Oil & Gas imports to sustain its economy, one could easily argue that it's Canada who is "subsidizing" the US.
Either the US Administration is completely ignorant of basic macro-economics? or they are blatantly lying to its citizens to implement bizarre economic policies that will hurt everyone. Well, everyone except folks that have significant Gold stocks. No complaints from me on this end
