Canada's Boycott of USA: full steam ahead

Go for it. You get what you pay for. As well, Australia is pretty far away. Our radar is better and closer. Expanding it would not only be economical it would allow you to expand the protection we already provide you.
But go ahead. Create an enemy of your best friend. You be you.
It is the U.S. that is, upon no provocation at all, making an enemy of Canada, not the other way around.

You don't seem to understand that 47 made an enemy of our best friends. Countries are responding to HIS hostility.

how can anyone read your words here and make any sense of it?

Are you seriously miscomprehending how Canada's actions are the effect to US actions?!
The US Administration is solely responsible for making USA into an enemy of its former best friend.

Failure to understand the concept of 'cause & effect' reminds me of US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick when he stated that "Tariff's will knock down protectionist walls of the world"

"Tariff's will knock down protectionist walls of the world"😲🤣😂🤣 WTF?!!!!

Lutnick's statement here is beyond absurd, his logic is so asinine, it's pretty much the equivalent of saying any of the following absurdities:

Rain will knock down floods
Snow storms will melt glaciers
Heat & drought will knock down forest fires
Florida should import oranges from Alaska, and Alaska should import ice from Florida

Quite a good summary of where we are with Canada.....In just a few weeks Trump has destroyed the strongest, closest, most peaceful and prosperous relationship between any two nations in history. I don't see that relationship being restored now that the damage's been done. It is sickening and saddening.

I just hope the Canucks are reasonable enough to see this is all Trump's fault, and let the next Dem in the WH mend fences.

YOU VOTED FOR President Musk (and DonOld, etc) because. “something something massive waste, fraud, and abuse that no one has found” and “something something fixing immigration and border security which President Biden could have actually done if DonOld hadn’t sabotaged THE VERY "CONSERVATIVE" BILL that PROVIDED FUNDING for technological countermeasures and human assets to attack the various challenges on EVERY FRONT (drug & human trafficking screening, border monitoring, processing asylum claims, detention and deportation activities focused on the REAL “bad hombres”, etc, etc, etc.)

The bill also effectively shut down the border unless illegal crossings dwindled to a manageable number, and it allowed for the continued mutually beneficial arrangement of generally law abiding resident undocumented workers continuing to contribute to the nation’s prosperity.

But NOOOOOO…

Only Daddy DomOld could save us…

🙄

😑

🤬

We. Told. Them. So.

Nope. It's not a one off. America has shown its system of government is too weak.

Never again will anyone in the world show the kind of trust that existed in the past.

You guys elected one dumbfuck, who has upended 70 years of cooperation, and you're doing fuck all about it.

This is not the first Trade War between the two…. But it’s also like concussions or an abusive partner… each time the USA has fucked Canada over, it causes more harm.

I agree, but it's the first time a US president has said he wants to annex Canada via economic pressure. That's the fucking point.
But it’s also like concussions or an abusive partner… each time the USA has fucked Canada over, it causes more harm.
Well, and this comes from a person "who" could be a dual citizen, fuck the US, they are fucking scum and best stay on their side of the line. I know I'm staying on my side.

You really are one fucking uneducated moron.

The Australia radar would be located in Canada......man do yourself a favour and quit posting here. Go back to the playground or wherever you hang out.

Just as King Charles wore a red tie when meeting Carney and wore his Canadian Naval Uniform when inspecting a British frigate and Kate Middleton wore a red dress at an appearance recently, Commonwealth Countries show support for each other in diplomatically subtle ways as a signal to the USA to mind its manners.

Likewise, The Aussies and Canucks signalling an alliance on Arctic Sovereignty sends a message to the USA.

Being a sad and sadistic clown, Trump will of course fuck it up even more.

Just another little lesson on the economics of it that Il Supremo seems to be complete unaware of.... I'd say someone should take him aside and talk some sense into him but he's too egotistical to listen and his Cabinet picks in this area aren't that competent - he probably needs to listen to Mark Carney - if he doesn't, he'll regret it - that guy is a shark.

Your chart illustrates how Canada's direct investments in the US actually exceed American investments into Canada and contradicts Trumps repeated rhetorical lie about "US subsidizing Canada with $200 Billion/year".

This Trump rhetoric ignores these figures on direct investment and refers to trade balance stats. On approximately $1Trillion/year of trade between Canada and USA, the balance is actually less than $50 Billion to Canada's favor: it's virtually even. Given USA's dependency on Oil & Gas imports to sustain its economy, one could easily argue that it's Canada who is "subsidizing" the US.

Either the US Administration is completely ignorant of basic macro-economics? or they are blatantly lying to its citizens to implement bizarre economic policies that will hurt everyone. Well, everyone except folks that have significant Gold stocks. No complaints from me on this end 😁💛

Does anyone still believe Trump when he speaks?

I mean other than His Sharpy, RightRightRight and RebelRebel ( youve torn your dress)

Trump's extreme fixation to Gold is well documented.
Could this fetish be what's behind his obsession over Canada?
Perhaps he's jealous over Canada's domination of the world Gold mining industry?

Canada leads the world Gold mining sector; its corporations account for about 75% of the world's production.

USA has 1 major Gold mining corporation: Newmont
Canada's 7 majors are: Barrick, Franco-Nevada, Agnico Eagle, Kinross, Yanama, El Dorado, and Gold Corp.
Based on Market Capitalization, Canada has 28 of the World's top 50 Gold Mining Companies (4 of 50 are from USA).

https://disfold.com/industry/gold/companies/?page=1

Toronto is the World's Mining Finance Capital of the World. TSX and TSX-V list more mining companies than any other exchange in the world.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if these aforementioned facts are completely unknown by most US Senators, Governors, and US Congress Representatives (irrespective of party affiliation).

Gold prices have skyrocketed since November, and reached all-time record highs. This isn't exactly a good economic indicator, of course Gold rises when Economy drops - Gold being the classic hedge against inflation or recession.
