The election for Nalakkersuisut have just ended, you cannot force people to meet on a official level, when they are in the middle of negotiating their government. And on top of that, while the country is in the middle of a election campaign for the municipalities!

Canada's ongoing US-Boycott is growing stronger each day. I can't recall seeing this type of situation that's unified Canadians from every walks of life in decades. The last time something of this magnitude happened (when one could say that virtually every Canadian agreed on something) was probably on September 11th 2001 when Canadians stood united in complete support for the USA.
This time it's almost the opposite as it's created an enormous disdain towards the US Administration. This is not a mere fad of something that will quickly blow over. As days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, this is sadly starting to become engrained into our mindset and at some point may even become part of our culture.

A cautionary tale: SOME Americans "thought" that President Biden was too liberal (HA!!!) and that he was destroying America (HA!!!). And those same Americans "thought" things couldn’t get / be worse under a second tRump administration (HA!!!).

Well, how infuriating and disrespectful this "private" visit might be - suuuuure, it is a private visit, and got nothing to do with the American presidents dreams of annexing a sovereign country
cause, every private citizen of the United States of America sends two military airplanes, with cars and people, to the designated place they want to visit, several days ahead.Then there are other impertinent and arrogant behaviours implied, like the fact that we have to send extra policemen to Greenland, that we have to start a full scale security operation, because of the uninvited and unwelcome high profile "guests".

I'd have voted Con in this election, with the exception of MR Mini Trump. Make no mistake, if PP gets in as leader of a Majority government, he'll sell this country out in a flash. He has said as much, and now can't find traction in this election because he has no enemy he can point to. Nothing to get disgruntled Canadians up in arms about. That is really all PP is, an empty suit trying to capitalise on anger. Kinda like Donald Trump did in the US.
Don't forget this is the guy became leader because he championed the far right extreme wing. There is no doubt JT was far left, but Carney has always been a middle of the road to far right Liberal.

This election is a mirror of the US 2024 one. We have a choice between not great and terrible. I'll be voting for "not great". You can vote for who you wish, and as I've posted many times, you get the government you deserve. The US deserves Trump,they chose it,and they own it.
