I would agree with you, but I've experienced just as much racism in Canada as I have here, and in one instance, it was much worse than it is here.

Don't get me wrong, I love Canada, will probably make it my home in the very near future, but its not any more perfect than the US.

I live in Alabama, and I haven't seen the kind of blatant racism here that I saw in Pickering/Toronto.

What I saw happened in a court, and the offenders were a judge and a crown attorney. I was flabbergasted, because here, if it'd happened the ACLU would've been on it so quick your head would spin. Not there.

The moral of the story is don't assume the people you're talking to, no matter what they look like, are white. They may not be.
