Sure, and there are instances of alcohol leading to a lot of deaths, even after dabbling once. Falling off bridges, car crashes etc. And don't get me started on fairground rides, skateboards, scuba equipment, sushi. Even peanuts, I heard, can cause instant death! How they're all still allowed, I really don't know.
Get some perspective. It's legal in a lot of places because the risks are comparatively low.
Get some reading comprehension.
You responded to a point I did not make. If you failed to understand my post, you should have reread it prior to reacting. At no point did I speak to the legality of any recreational substance, the reasons thereof, or the quantitative risk. In fact, I began with the phrase "no matter the legalities of using weed." Therefore your point is irrelevant to my post.
What I said was to stop encouraging unnecessary drug use on a public, open forum to a person who did not express interest in using said substance. That is my point and I stand by it.
I won't respond further to a person showing themselves to be as belligerent as they're irresponsible. I'll just quote my first post for the record, then simply continue to observe. If you really must descend into argumentativeness, please find a different sparring partner.
Have a nice day today, and be better tomorrow.
I'm on this board as a spectator for the most part, but occasionally I weigh in on things. This is an Occasion.
No matter the legalities of using weed in any given location, don't encourage people to experiment with drugs in a public forum, particularly when they haven't expressed a desire for that first-hand experience. The OP only seems to be crowdsourcing anecdotal information. Your suggestion could cause harm, because you never know who else might be reading this thread, their age, their susceptibility to suggestion, and their chances of taking you seriously. As others have pointed out, there are instances of weed triggering schizophrenia and other kinds of pyschosis even after dabbling once.
You're being irresponsible. Stop it.
