Camilla, or Cammie as most of her friends called her, was eighteen years young. She loved life, and took advantage of having a fit, teenage body. She was a senior in high school, and was on the volleyball team, and captain of the cheer squad. She had every guy in school wrapped around her little finger, but preferred staying single.

Camilla was an only child; her mom had left when she was only a baby, and her dad spoiled her wonderfully. He was a CEO of a large business, which never seemed to fail paying out. She benefited greatly from that.

She never expected he would move on from her mom. He told her almost every day how much he missed her. He never seemed ready to find a new girlfriend, or even a wife. So when Jackson Hartwood told Camilla he was getting married, she laughed. He had to be joking. But when he whipped out a photo, and started talking, Camilla's heart sank.

There would be no more father-daughter days, no more spoiling. He explained that she had a daughter her age. She would be moving in with the Hartwood's. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME!" she had screamed, before running up to her room.

That was a month ago. Today, Camilla sat in her plush window seat, looking out the window, as her father's wife-to-be and daughter unloaded stuff from their moving van. She was texting her best friend Amanda about the situation,

"Looks like a slut." she texted Amanda, and laughed. Maybe this could turn out to be fun. The girl was transferring to Camilla's school, and Camilla could make or break her. She hoped this girl was smart, because nobody fucked with Camilla Hartwood.

Kailey was 18 and lived a pretty typical life. She played varsity soccer at her high school and had a close group of friends. She was easy going though and could get along with everyone, at least she thought so.

At home, it was just Kailey and her mom. Her dad died in a terrible car accident when she was 4 while he was on the way home from a business trip. His life insurance policy had left more than enough to make sure she and her mother lived a very comfortable life. Her mom was a professor at a local college, and made enough on her own to provide comfortably for the two of them. She'd been spoiled, given nearly everything she wanted.

Her life was about to change drastically one day though as she pulled up to the house she shared with her mom and parked her Infiniti G Coupe in the drive way, carrying her soccer bag into the house, sliding off her soccer sandals in the foyer and dropping her bag by the steps. She waked into the kitchen where her mom was just getting off the phone. She looked at her mom and raised an eyebrow as she got a bottle of water out of the fridge.

She sat on the edge of the counter as her mom looked at her and started talking to her about how she always wished she could have grown up with more of a family. "Mom, I think we did pretty well just the two of us" she said, nearly dropping her plastic bottle of water when she saw the ring on her mom's finger. She only half heard the rest of what her mom told her, about how soon the wedding was, and that they were moving into the Jackson's house, and something about her "new sister Camilla"

It didn't seem real until she was packing up her things, and watching them being loaded into the truck. She drove with her mom to their new place, not saying a thing to her on the way, or as their things were unloaded. She followed the mover who had a box of her things as he walked into the house and up the stairs, turning into a bedroom with two beds, half of the room mostly empty.

She dropped her bag on the floor, ignoring the girl sitting on the window seat. "You've gotta be kidding."

Camilla let her legs fall over the window seat, turning towards the bleached-blonde girl who stood in her room. " 'The fuck's your problem?" she said, keeping her gaze straight. This girl had nothing on her. She was fake all over, from her hair to her tan to her little piercings. And now she walked into Camilla's room and made some little bitchy comment? She wasn't off to a very good start.

"I'm Camilla. I'm guessing you're 'the Daughter?' " she asked, snidely.

She was pissed enough knowing her dad was getting married. But once she'd found out there was a daughter coming along, and living in her room, Camilla had thrown a fit. But apparantly the two adults were "in love", so no fit Camilla could throw would make a difference.

Kailey rolled her eyes at the girl's question. "My fucking problem is that you're dad's got this huge house and there's only two bedrooms. That my mom decided to get married to your dad and move in here to begin with. That you get to stay at your school, stay in your house and I get to leave my friends, my team, my everything, and pack up my shit to move into a room with you" she said, knowing it wasn't exactly a cool way to start, but she didn't care. It was what she felt and she never hid her true feelings.

"I'm Kailey" she said dropping her backpack onto the floor next to one of the beds before walking out of the room and back outside to get more of her things from the truck outside.

"Oh, wow. Well I'm the one who has to share my dad with a new 'mom' and 'sister'. And now my room and school. So don't bitch, little girl. You'll get over it." The girl dropped her name, and then left the room, going outside.

Camilla texted Amanda, "She's a bitch with an attitude. She's not going to last at my school if she keeps this up." She got a reply back fast,

"True that, cause everyone knows Camilla Hartwood owns Westbridge High."

"Damn fucking straight." she didn't even get up or offer Kailey or her mom any help. She didn't need to. She wasn't going to change her lifestyle just because her dad--WHOA!

Maybe they were lovers and he's only marrying her because she's fucking prego. Camilla laughed. She'd talk to her dad later. He sure had some explaining to do. "Being in love" didn't cut it when you were his age, and hadn't "moved on" yet.

Kailey sat down on the steps and pulled her Blackberry from her pocket, sending a text to a few of her friends. "You won't fucking believe what's going on. Sharing a room with his daughter Camilla"

She shoved her phone back into her pocket and walked outside where her mom was standing by the truck telling the movers where to move things. "Thanks for making the rest of my life miserable" she muttered, grabbing another box and bag, hauling them up the stairs to her room.

She walked into the room and set her things on the floor, wiping her long bangs from her face, pulling her hair back into a ponytail. "Don't for a minute thing I'm intimidated by you" she said to Camilla who was still standing by the window, watching her as she walked in.

Camilla raised her eyebrows. "You think I'm trying to intimidate you? Think again. Plus, I could give a fuck who you are, where you came from, or what happens to you." her phone rang, and she smiled fakely at Kailey, answering it,

"Hello? Oh, hey Johnny. Nothing, just hanging out with my super freaky step-sister...Yeah, she just moved in. Sureeee, come pick me up. Be ready in ten. Byee." she hung up, and without glancing at Kailey, went to her closet to grab something to wear.

Sh went into the bathroom, changed and did her make up. When she came out, she looked Kailey dead in the eye, "You might not be scared of me, but if you're scared of fitting in at a new school, you better stop acting like a stuck-up bitch."

She left the room, hoping that Johnny would make her feel better, because this bitch hadn't been there more than a couple hours, and was already making Camilla furious.

Kailey rolled her eyes again, deciding to let the movers bring the rest of her boxes up, it was what her mom was paying them to do after all. She walked to the window, and looked out as she pulled her phone from her pocket again, checking her messages.

She sat down on her bed and sent a few replies ignoring whatever the little bitch was saying. She rolled her eyes threatening her about what her life at the new school could be like.

"Yeah cuz you're so down to earth yourself" she replied as Camilla walked out the door. She send a text to Mikey [/I]I miss you baby, ya gotta come save me[/I]. She got off of her bed once the boxes had all been brought up and started to unpack. She tossed half of Camilla's clothes onto the girl's bed to make room for her own, and decorated the shelf above the window seat with her soccer and dance awards.

She smiled when she got a text from Mikey telling her to look out the window. She walked to the window and saw him getting out of her car, which she'd left at his place until they figured out how to get it here. She ran down the stairs and out the door, into his arms. "It's fucking miserable here" she whispered, taking his hand as they walked inside and up to her room, cuddling on her bed.

Camilla spent a good hour with Johnny, actually talking to him about her feelings. But she found it didn't make a difference at all. She still felt like shit. She asked him to take her home, and they kissed in his car for a little while, but she wanted to go inside. "I'll text you soon."

She went into her room, and first noticed a guy with Kailey, in her bed. Then she noticed the bitch had moved her stuff, and decorated her shelf with her stupid awards. She took a deep breath and cooled herself down,

"Hi." she whispered sexily, "I'm Camilla." she didn't know this guy, but everyone around here knew who she was. And she had a good reputation. (No matter what she did, everyone knew not to talk shit.)

As soon as this guy left, Camilla would show this girl whose fucking room this was, and that she needed to ask before taking over her space. But, for now? Kailey obviously liked this guy, and Camilla didn't want her to be happy; he wouldn't like her once Camilla was done with him.

Kailey and Mikey got into her bed, his hands rubbing her shoulders to calm her down. She told him what had happened so far since she'd been here. "I can't stay here" she whispered to him, cuddling closer, her head resting against his shoulder. "It's been less than a day and I never thought I'd hate it this much"

She closed her eyes as Mikey rubbed her back, pulling her closer to him. She heard Camilla walk in as Mikey took her hand in his, squeezing softly. She shook her head at the voice in which Camilla introduced herself to Mikey. She kissed Mikey's chin as he introduced himself to the bitch standing across the room from them, obviously looking at the additions Kailey had made while she was gone.

Her eyes opened, looking up at Mikey when he whispered that he had to head home. She shook her head, holding onto him tighter. "Don't leave me here" she said in a bit more than a whisper, it wasn't like she cared if Camilla heard her.

They got up and walked out of the room and down the stairs. She saw Mikey's friend pull up to drive him home so he could leave Kailey's car there with her. They kissed for a few minutes, and Mikey promised he'd come back soon. She sat on the hood of her car as Mikey kissed her forehead, hugging her again before getting into Brian's car. She stayed outside for a few minutes before heading back inside, up to her miserable bedroom.

Camilla had waited until Kailey left the room with her little boyfriend, and then thrown everything off the shelf, onto her bed. That was her shelf! She put her stuff back up there, straightening it out. She put her clothes back in the closet, the way it belonged.

As soon as Kailey walked back in, Camilla spoke to her in an even voice, "Listen, neither of us wants to be here in this situation. But we are. But this IS my room, I don't care if you're sharing it now. It's mine. So ask before you move my stuff. I'm not afraid to throw your shit out next time. Trust me, my dad might care about your mom a lot, but I'm his girl, and he won't let his new lady's daughter throw my shit around."

With that, she sat on her bed and pulled out her cell, texting Amanda. She hadn't been mean to Kailey, just straight up with her. There was no reason for Kailey to move her stuff, and she wouldn't go touching Kailey's either.

Kailey walked into her bedroom to see everything she'd unpacked back on her bed. She turned towards Camilla and was about to go off on her when she started talking to her.

"That's all well and good but where the fuck am I supposed to put my stuff? And you really think you're daddy's gonna wanna hear that you're being a little bitch to his fiance's daughter? I doubt he'd be happy with that" she said pulling out her phone, checking a text message she'd gotten while she was on her way back up to the bedroom.

"Okay, we'll get a new fucking dresser or a closet extention. But don't you dare call me a bitch. I have every right to set the line here, you came into my room while I was gone and messed with my shit. That, if anything, qualifies as bitchiness. Don't you FUCKING DARE talk to me like that. FUCK!" she walked over to the girl, unable to control her temper, and slapped her across the face.

That would seriously surprise her, and get her to back down. For real this time. She knew Kailey had probably never been slapped, and it would get her thinking, and she would leave Camilla the fuck alone,

"While you're thinking about your fucking attitude adjustment, leave my shit alone. We'll get you a damn dresser later. I'm going out again. Can't fucking stand you." Camilla couldn't remember when she'd been this mad. She didn't want to drive, though.

She decided she would go to Amanda's. She walked towards Amanda's house, her hands in her pockets, tears streaming down her face. How could her dad do this to her?

Kailey started clenching and unclenching her fists, biting her lip to keep from yelling. "You can't expect me to move in and not bring any of my things" She said, yelling as Camilla slapped her across the face. "Fucking cunt" she spat at her as she continued bitching at Kailey about leaving her things alone until she got back.

"It's my fucking room too, I have just as much right to move your shit as you do to touch mine" she said as she walked out the door. She couldn't believe what a little fucking princess this bitch was. She hung her clothes back up in the closet and grabbed her backpack, stuffing some things into it, grabbing her phone and her keys and going downstairs and walking out the front door, getting in her car and driving.

She didn't know where she was going to go, maybe Mikey's or Christine's. She wasn't coming back until someone made her though, she couldn't share a bedroom with the little bitch. Why the fuck didn't they move into her house, they had enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own. fuck why was her mom getting married to this guy anyways.

Amanda consoled Camilla, and Camilla took a bath, and they went to sleep. She needed to get some rest to think clearly. When she woke up, she got dressed and kissed Amanda's cheek, who was still sleeping.

She walked the short walk home, and when she got there, she took a shower. After she'd gotten dressed again, she noticed Kailey was gone. Although she had been honest, she felt bad for being so harsh. They were both obviously upset and under a lot of stress from all of this change. She asked her dad for Kailey's number and texted her,

"Look, I meant everything I said but I feel bad for getting so mad. We both obviously hate the situation we're in, but at least while we're in the house, let's be civil. Deal?"

Kailey called Mikey while she was driving around and told him what had happened. He told her to come over and spend the night, get away from it for a while. She pulled up to his house and saw him come out, grabbing her bag and pulling her close as they walked in to the house and up to his bedroom.

She went and changed into one of his t-shirts and got into bed with him, wishing she never had to go back to the miserable place that was now her home.

Mikey and Kailey woke up the next morning to the chirping of Kailey's phone. She rubbed her eyes and picked up her phone, reading the message. She didn't know who the number was, but once she read it, she quickly realized it was Camilla.

"I'm not really planning on coming home, so no deal" she typed, and hit send, cuddling back against Mikey. She knew that was a lie, her mom would make her come back, but for now, it's what she had planned.

The next morning, after a not-so-good sleep, Camilla heard her cellphone buzzing on her nightstand. She picked it up and read the girl's text, "Look, I know how you feel, okay? We both have had one parent and one house, and had the best life. It's not going to get good fast, but you know your mom's gonna make you come back. Might as well make it easier. Just say yes, because I'm not usually nice."

She sighed. She didn't know what was making her be nice. Probably it was the fact that she wanted to stay on her dad's good side, and what happened at home he knew about. At school, completely different story.

Kailey checked her phone again a while later and rolled her eyes when she saw another message from Camilla. She ignored it and put her phone on the bed, slowly sitting up. "Everything was perfect before yesterday" she said to Mikey as they got up, out of bed. She leaned into his chest as he pulled her to him again. "Now it's all fucked up" she said reaching for her phone as it vibrated again.

It was her mom. She sighed and answered the call, arguing with her mom for a few minutes. "Fine, I'll just be miserable then" she said hanging up the phone and looking for her clothes. "I've gotta get back to hell" she said sliding into her jeans and polo shirt, sliding her leather flip flops onto her feet.

Mikey walked downstairs with her, grabbing a one regular mug and a travel mug, filling them with coffee. She smiled, kissing him as they walked out to her car. "Thanks baby" she said, tossing her things into the car. Eventually she got in too, and drove away from Mikey's house, driving back to the miserable place she was being forced to live.

Camilla sat with her dad and Janine, as his new wife-to-be was called. They all drank juice or coffee, and Janine asked Camilla some awkward questions. After a while of chit chat, with Camilla's not-so-discreet texting under the counter, Janine said she was going to call Kailey. "Enough is enough. I apologize for Kailey's rude behavior." That made Camilla laugh.

Kailey finally got home, and everyone turned to look at the front door as they heard her car pull in the parking lot. As soon as she walked through the door, Camilla pasted a smile on her face, "KAILEY! I'm so happy you're home." both Janine and Jackson smiled, and Camilla knew they had bought it; she was still safe.

Kailey sighed, parking her car in the driveway, waiting a minute before getting out. Finally though, she knew it was inevitable and walked into the house. She heard Camilla welcome back, a smile across her face as her mom, Camilla and Jackson watched her walk in. She paused in the foyer glaring at the little bitch as she drank her juice, sitting in the kitchen pretending to be the perfect child.

She shook her head and walked up the stairs and into the bedroom she was being forced to live in. She dug through her close, finding a pair of black yoga pants and a pink baby doll top, a pair of panties and a bra and walked into the bathroom. She locked the door and turned on the shower, letting the water heat up as she pulled out two towels from the linen closet and pulled off her clothes.

She took her time, hoping Camilla would want to use the bathroom, and hopefully piss her off.

Camilla went up to her room soon after Kailey went into the shower. She was frustrated, and moody. "Ugh, I don't know how to make this any better." she suddenly got a bright idea. She dialed a number on her cell that was far too familiar.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Cammie."

"Hey, so I need your advice. My dad, he's getting married. And Janine, his wife-to-be...she has a daughter my age. They moved into my house and she's living in my room now. We started off really badly, and I need your advice on how to make things smoother."

"Wow, intense. Well, I take it you don't have much time to talk. Try being nice, even if your heart isn't into it yet. She'll sense you're trying, and she might back down. You might get to talking a little. I think you two bonding at least a bit would help things."

"Thanks."

"No prob, sweetie." she hung up, and walked to the bathroom. She knocked on the door,

"Hey, I have some body wash that smells really great and shampoo in there that's really good for straight hair. Feel free to use them, since I doubt you unpacked toilettrees yet."

Kailey rolled her eyes at the knock on the bathroom door. She raised an eyebrow when Camilla started talking to her about the shampoo and bodywash she could use. "Fuck" she whispered realizing she was right about unpacking her toiletries. She didn't say anything in response to Camilla's offer though, wondering why she was all of a sudden trying to be so nice.

She looked at the shampoo on the shelf in the shower, Sami smooth and shine - the same thing she used. She washed her hair and used the bodywash, which really did smell good, standing under the hot stream of water as the bathroom steamed up.

After a couple more minutes she stepped out of the shower, wrapping a clean white fluffy towel around her body, and another around her hair. She dried off and changed into her clothes, leaving her hair up in a towel as she walked out of the bathroom to look for her makeup and other things in a few boxes.

Camilla was sitting on her bed when Kailey came in, dressed. She wore a towel in her hair. "Did that help, using my shampoo and stuff? You can use it whenever you want." she saw Kailey eye her suspiciously. "I know it's weird I went from being a bitch to being nice. I talked to one of my close...friends, and their advice was to just be nice. We both have a lot of disagreements and discomforts with this situation, but it's just going to be worse on both of us if we take it out on each other. So, I'm trying to be civil."

Camilla smiled and went back to her laptop, where she was typing.

Kailey looked at Camilla when she started talking to her again. She still didn't get how she could go from such a bitch to trying to be nice, but she wasn't going to question it too much. "Yeah, thanks. I actually use the same shampoo and conditioner so it'll be good to have less bottles in the shower all the time" she said, trying to be civil too.

She still didn't trust the girl, and wondered what was behind all of this sudden niceness. Eventually she found her box of cosmetics and other products, taking some of them into the bathroom. She did her hair and her makeup, checking herself in the mirror before cleaning up her things. She left her cosmetic bags on the counter, closed and orderly. While she'd rather piss off Camilla and leave a mess, she didn't want her things to get ruined in the process.
