Yea Pats!!!!

It was the best Super Bowl I've seen in years! It is not just because the Pats won (which made me very happy) but it was a good close game. I had a few co-workers over to watch the game and we had a good time. In fact I just got back from driving two of them home (too much refreshment). I told them both they had better not "lay out" tomorrow.

Des and Lter we didn't watch the halftime show. We switched to the Fear Factor Playboy Bunnie Challenge. As I watched I wondered how you two fine ladies would look dressed as they were dressed! Now that was great food for thought!

Well darn I missed another pro football game. Instead I played on the new computer some more. Loaded some more software and synched up my pda. I had a pretty good day overall. There was the time though when my gf got a phone call from her best friend and they talked for around 3 hours. Of course she got the cal around 5pm which is when we normally go out to eat and being the good bf that I am I didn't interrupt though I started getting the dreaded hunger headaches around 7p. I'm glad she still keeps in touch with her friends...she isn't as much of an independent soul as I am. I love all my friends, but I so enjoy making new ones. Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Well it was one of the best fourth quarters I have ever seen. The Tribute to America before the game was awesome!

The Pats shocked me, was glad to see it though.

LTR and Des, you letting these guys talk about you with your batteries, hmmmm were I there, I don't think you would need batteries.

The Fear Factor Playboy Bunny Challenge was neat.... damn that Hugh is a lucky guy. Ever wonder how much of his budget goes to viagra?

Coming to Carolina

I am going to be in the Winston-Salem area on business for a few days, at the end of the month. Does anyone on this thread have any ideas about what to do for fun there? Please be explicit about what your definition of fun is, though . . . .

Fun in Winston-Salem? Good luck. There isn't much in this entire state that doesn't go to bed around 1 - 2am. I don't know that area very well, but it isn't all that far from Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh. You might try www.citysearch.com , and see what is available to do. There are a couple of small weekly newspapers that will help you out immensely once you get in. Look for Spectator Magazine and The Independent. They will likely be in your hotel, or in stands near regular newspapers. They are your best source for things going on in NC, especially near RDU/CH.
