Competition?

My shopping is finished at last. I do believe Clemson Blvd. in Anderson can now rival Haywood Rd in Greenville as the worst auto quagmire in the upstate.

But the real reason for the post is to wish everyone the peace and closeness this season offers. To help things along...... hug a friend and say hello to a stranger.

Contentment....

As I sit here listening to 3 CDs I received as Christmas gifts, Charlotte Church, Hank Williams Jr, and The Ultimate Star Trek (symphony orchestra versions of the Star Trek TV and Movie themes) I can't help but think "life is good." I know the music is widely different but I like all three. The music is something like me...... a little of this and a little of that. It is also like the folks of LIT, diverse, eclectic, yet a beautiful mosaic. A wonderful Christmas to you all.

Hello to all (especially ltr, sb, and Des.),

I guess the rest of the Carolinas are still on Holiday. So on behalf of those of us that had to return to work today I'll give this a bump. After being off this long I was afraid they would send me to a re-training brigade! How is it that I can remember the birthmark on a lady I met years ago, yet can't remember my computer password after a few days off? I guess motivation must be the key. I know I'm motivated to buy a lottery ticket whenever SC gets around to starting it. I may not ever win it. But think of those happy moments when I can daydream about not *having* to go to work.

So luck and good cheer to all. New Year's is just a few days away.

(Gang of four sounds like some bad guys in a Chinese communist plot trial. I hope we don't get purged!)
