Beside the only reason I know what it mean is cos I looked it up in a dictionary & showed the word to my cousin visiting from Japan (many years ago). Then pointing to one of my guys friends as a joke. Me & the girls had a good laugh at his expense, during my cousin's visit. :evil kitty grins:

Mysterious Old Woman: (Plot Device) Old woman shows up out of the blue to give characters a little push and disappears before they can ask any questions. A spirit creature and assistant to the Fates.


Kiko: A young woman wearing a bright pink and red kimono. She doesn’t talk much and most people assume she can’t. Has unusual abilities that will be discovered later.

i was saying that this isn't a thread more for supernatural and powers, it was more real life. there WERE a few though, but they were fushi.... or something like that. i'll give you a couple expamples. there was the water clan, which were good, and destroyed the wind clan, who used to be good, but were corrupted and had begun use of darker powers. water beat the wind, but all but one died. the wind clan fled to china, where they learned dark and red arts. swearking revenge on the water.

the charechter idea in your pm is like another few things. you could be connected to shishio Makoto. he destroyed a shinto temple, there was also strange things, liek someone who could punch and destroy solid rock, but they explained this, as not magical powers, but he punched it in nanoseconds. so the first hit took all the resistance out of the rock, and the second destroyed it. that kind of thing. would that work?

Ok- so the girl was raised by a Shinto priest after being abandonded by her widowed mother and has learned divination through IChing and water scrying. She also learned to disguise what she really looks like because people either won't take her seriously or want to kill her as a sorceress.

She became incredibly accurate at both and studied makeup and disguise further from a traveling actor recovering from pheumonia at the shinto temple.

So she now takes on the appearance of an old woman to warn people of events that shes sees in the future.

She is sought after by the Emperor because he thinks she can make him more powerful or help his enemies.

as for the psychic thing.... maybe you could be wise, and be able to see where everything is going? but determining thoughts and happenings out of thin air.... i don't think that would fly.

Um, I'm just bideing my time....... I swear I got what I'm going to be doing next figured out....... No I wouldn't lie to youu....Aah screw it I haven't replied because I haven't figured out what to do. So it'll be a while still. Maybe tomorow I'll have come up with something.

I also don't care to much for the predicting the future. The second option of figureing out whats likely to happen seems nicer to me.

Khadgar... I'm confused as toi your last post, the OOC post you did.

You said there is an OOC thread but what did any one say OOC: If this gose up to where I explained the "**" as latin I felt that that belonged with my post so one could figure out what was going on. As for the word Fuck not existing all I can say is fill it in with an equally bad word used in that time frame.
