Casting/Reluctant Heroes

Oh my you accepted that litle peice of crap character I thrw in as a gag? Well,.....damn. Now I feel weird. What's next, everyone's gonna become immune, leaving me to order the pizzas and find a job to pay the electric bill for the Hall of Justice?

"What? $8,765? Do they need to leave the fucking supercomputer on all the time? And would it kll them to get part-time jobs? Damnit! I knew I should have been a villain!"

Once you recognize what's going on, you will see why it's a particularly cute character to have thrown in. If you don't want the character, either come up with a new one or don't. If you want the character, feel free to join us. As to piece of crap, there's nothing objectional about the character, and depending on how you play it, it could be quite powerful. I will also give your char the ability to selectively inflict diseases (ie, not everyone with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer or any other disease you care to mention is impacted the same way, so you can select HOW you impact your victims). Oh and as to being a villain, I never said you HAD TO go along with what is asked of you, simply that the change will be enforced and that NOT going along with what is asked will, in the end, do you very little good at all.

You think I wasn't going to take that little aspect of power anyway? And I like the character, just could never work it n, always thought it was just too,....well, too sick to work.

Besides, you can't fight your paycheck. (Check my first regular post to see how good little evils can be. He has the knowledge of his future at his fingertips, but why crack into files when you can play illegal games?)

I just wish I could find a way to give him a bioelectric feild to kill computers. You know, the way electricians kill watches? But I thought his knowledge from his old life would be enough.

Very little is too sick to work, GM - actually your char is similar to one who I was gonna run about a year ago - Amyl Nitrate, who could inflict the effects of any drug....

Alex Smith/ Bloodwynd

ok, here goes my character:

Alex Smith was your classic non-person. A number in a large insurance firm, he had no life, but lots of ambition. His only release from his humdrum life was in books & daydreams, dreams where he was somebody. Somebody powerful, & feared.

After the change, he has that power. He can read peoples thoughts, & can move objects with a thought. He is stronger, & faster, & can create a blade of energy that can cut through almost anything.

He had all the power he craved, but none of the experience in using it. And you know what they say, power corrupts.........

Just a quick note on Asha's changed character. Wayfarer is 6'5" tall - a few inches taller than Asha was. Nicely muscular, but not a superstrength type of thing. She is a black african and has 8 arms. Her powers are "the eight forms of movement," which translates to telekinesis (movement without touch), teleportation (movement across distances), telepathy (movement of thought), astral projection (movement of the soul), enhanced combat prowess (movement causing harm), superspeed (movement of the body), extreme agility and coordination (movement under control) and regenerative abilities for self and other (movement of health). It may come out in the thread that if one or other of her arms becomes disabled, the power assosciated with that arm is lost until she regains control of her arm. Other than her deformity, perhaps her biggest problem is extreme guilt over what happened at the transformation. Do not be surprised if, at some point, she acts recklessly trying to save someone's life. I cannot absolutely guarantee this character will continue to live throughout the thread, so don't go relying on her. ;)

Roll Call

BF et al. Here is a list of who I see in the game so far:
Amanda - Blazer
Asha - Wayfarer
Alex - Bloodwynd
Bruce - Weaver
Claude - Plague
Erica - Mirage
Gunther - The Demon
Ray - Shadow

Is this accurate? I think we are getting to the point where the characters will begin to interact and I don't want to omit anyone.

Re: Roll Call

I think the list is right, but anyone who is omitted please add. I just wanted to add another part to the list, the players:

Amanda - Blazer - Lacewing
Asha - Wayfarer - BadForm
Alex - Bloodwynd - AbraxasWinterlight
Bruce - Weaver - Dark Warrior
Claude - Plague - TheGrandMage
Erica - Mirage - LadyBlueMoon
Gunther - The Demon - Airborne92
Ray - Shadow - Nightray

Corrected to reflect Airborne's correct number... although I still say an airborne69 sounds fun. ;) Sorry AB.

Hey, too late to join?

If you have room I'd like to be this character:
Name:Leo McMann
Age:18
Height:5'9
Weight:130
Hair:Black
Eyes:Green
A college student who's on the track & field team, very popular with the girls. He's a nice guy who makes people laugh.

Now after the change
Name:Tornado
His physical appearance is unchanged, except that his legs are quite beefier than before.
Powers:Has the ability to run in light speed. His neatest trick is to run in circles in light speed thus creating a tornado.

Hmm... I think you're a bit late. Still, I don't wanna rule anything out, so I'll leave that ball in BadForm's court.

Sorry, Butch - as I made clear earlier on, once the transformation took place, there was no room for anyone else to join. Basically, at that point, those who weren't changed died.

Right

That's all cool.
I didn't realize how far you had gotten when I entered that.
Thanks for a great thread.
