I find it amusing that Lit posters that challenge each other on the veracity of their statements don’t seem to realize that unless they witness first hand what their posting about it become an issue of one media outlet’s opinion or fact against another media outlet. How anyone can accuse Israel of genocide without being on the ground is ludicrous. People spouting off about Israel conducting a genocidal campaign obviously don’t understand what genocide is really all about. Innocent Palestinian bystanders are caught up in an asymmetrical conflict where their own leadership could care less of the casualties they cause, using citizens as shields while they themselves indiscriminately lob missiles at Israeli civilians.

My reason for posting this is to point out who is being protected by the redactions. These vaccines were approved under “Operation Warp Speed” - scientific scrutiny was affected by political pressure at a time of emergency. It’s a fairly certain thing that standards and protocols were violated.

Blaming the CDC for malfeasance in this case is bullshit.

I don’t blame the Trump administration for it either - it’s one of the few things they got right yet it’s one of the few things he gets criticized for by the right. One thing for sure is if the vaccines were approved under the Biden Administration shills like you would be all over him with accusations and conspiracy theories.

As the EU reports show, the incidence of increased myocarditis doesn’t coincide with vaccinations. The redactions are due to something else. My guess is to protect those who violated protocols in time of emergency- who in this case was the CDC and the HHS under the Trump Administration.

My guess is that if Biden wanted to be an ass about it he could use it to throw Trump under the buss, but I guess we’ll have to wait for a few decades to find out.

The non- biased investigative journalist is a dying bread. Today most media platforms tend to conform to their ideological beliefs using every tool in their tool box to sway their consumers to their side of the ideological divide. When media is more interested in propaganda the truth dies on the vine. Media is supposed to be an extension of the truth, challenging our political elites in telling their constituents the truth. That’s not happening today. The days of Walter Cronkite are long gone. When government can dictate what the public is exposed to then we become nothing more then stooges for the government. Accurate Covid reporting was bastardized by even the most revered institution and as a result the trust in these institutions had eroded causing even more division. When researching myocarditis using google as a search engine we, as a consumer, are immediately exposed to their political bias where opposition research is 30/40 links to the bottom of the search request. Title sensationalism is often used to capture short term readers where often times the title itself sways the reader from further reading into the article for factual relevance which in many cases is opposite the headline. Since we the consumer cannot be in a courtroom, medical research facility, a war zone we can only base our beliefs on accurate and unbiased reporting. The use of the term bloodbath taken out of context is a perfect example of leading people on, painting a negative picture of the original intent of a statement. Lying by omission is lying just the same.

Out here on the interwebs a person can claim to be anything they want to be, claim to have seen or read or been privy to anything. And when questioned about it, asked for verification of those claims, it's convenient to put it back on the questioner with an "educate yourself" or "I don't have time" or "they won't read them anyway". Every one of those is a well-phrased and calculated attempt to dodge verifying what one has claimed.

But you go right on and do that. Play the same game as some on the other side whom you despise do. For me, if I'm questioned on a point and can not provide some kind of verification, I'll admit I can't and it is all my own opinion. But of course out here in the ether of the interwebs, we are ALL experts and require no verification of the truth of our assursions, yes?
