If it was effective why are they still offering boosters? Look I got vaccinated for polio back in the 60's and there was never a booster required every few months. IT WORKED. This is nothing but a big pharma scam that made them billions of dollars.

^It's a question of micro-biology.

The Polio virus does not change or evolve that much. The Polio vaccine works because it recognizes a strand of DNA that is specific to that virus, and that DNA strand is common to all variants of the Polio virus because the virus does not change that much.

However, by contrast, The coronavirus that causes COVID, much like the viruses that cause common cold or the flu, evolves and changes very rapidly. So the DNA strand that the original vaccine recognizes may, in a couple years time, be completely different and no longer recognizable.

Basically, COVID mutates and evolves quickly, Polio does not.

Part of the reason is COVID spreads faster and more easily, giving it more chances to evolve and mutate.
People get flu shots every year because the flu strains change every year.
People get tetanus and DPT shots every 5 to 10 years because while those viruses evolve, they evolve more slowly than the flu or Covid.

It never accomplished what they hoped it would. You could still catch and then spread covid after vaccination.

Look, line up for the jab if you wish. I NEVER will. I don't trust the science or that charlatan dr fraudi. I had covid twice, both times it wasn't much more than a cold and sinus headaches. I have no lasting effects. I have co-morbidities and yet here I am, alive and well. Why? My brother-in-law got the vax, got the boosters and covid damn near killed him. WHY?

BTW people who were vaccinated against polio, it was only 90% effective against paralytic polio with 2 doses and it took 4 doses to reach 99-100% effectiveness.....yah those pesky booster that don't work....

I tried explaining that different viruses work different ways. I'll try this explanation instead:

Much like Ants, Rhinos, and salmon are all animals, they are all affected by different things. You can't kill a rhino by stepping on it. You can't kill a salmon by drowning it, and you can't kill an ant with a fish hook.
Same with viruses- some evolve quick so one vaccine is only effective for a short while, while other viruses do not evolve more quickly.
