I should probably post to the BDSM thread being a life long Cubs fan. The pain and suffering continues another year for those who die for Cubbie blue.

I like the cubbies also...as i always root for the underdogs. At least they did one smart thing during their short off season so far...they hired Lou Pinella...now if he can lure A Rod away from the Yanks, get rid of woods and prior and get some healthy arms in the rotation, thing might start looking up.

There should be no question about spending the money on the free agent market when your owned by the Tribune Corporation. There is a lot of Iowa Cubs fans out there and they all want to see a winner finally here in Chicago. My 90 year old grandma is a die hard Cubs fan and she deserves to see a winner for all her lifetime support.

Was a good day here....rainy and cold here too. I was inside most of the day, sitting on my ass most of the time, AGAIN. I swear to God I'm gonna have this order done before the weekend, I don't think my ass can take much more of this.

The cubs seem to never make the right decisions when it comes to players...had maddux for 2 years then decide to get rid of him...what happends, he becomes a hall of fame pitcher with the braves, then back to the cubs to finish off his career.

I say trade Prior and Woods...if anyone would take them...get rid of their tired injured arms, and let some of the good young pitchers in their farm system cum and play.

they need to do someting to bring back a winning club...the town deserves it, and the Fans deserve it.
