Name: Derek " King " Anthony
Age:33
Height:5'9
Hair: Shave head with black stubble. Stubble bread
Eyes: Brown
Body: Thick,Stocky, and covered in polynesian tattoos.

King has served 10 years of his 35 year sentences for manslaughter. Killing two men with his bare fist, after finding out they robbed and beat his younger brother nearly to death. Being that his profession was a plumber by day and professional boxer and night, the court found his hands to be deadly weapons. Thus giving him the longest sentence next to life.

Growing up in the rough, mixed racial part of the city. Where it was not unusual for blacks, mexicans, and polynesian witch king is ( half maori ,half black) to hang out with each other. So when he enter the prison system, there where a lot of the guys he knew from the neighborhood already serving time. He instantly fell into the gang scene, thinking it was going to be a whole lot easier doing his time with them to protect to him. He didn't start off like everyone else, he didn't have to stab or hurt anybody to get in. J.J Harrison was the captain of Cell Block - D and knew King from the neighborhood. He respected King for what he stood for and knew the man King was. He didn't need to be shown that King was going to be a loyal solider and an asset to them.

J.J quickly start to use King attributes to his advantage. He had King start off collecting money from the prisoner that where betting on sporting events. Word got around quickly that the new man, that was collecting didn't take much shit. King would turn on switch in his head when it was time to work. One minute he's a cool, low key, and the next he's a cold blooded bull. He'd give you one warning to pay up, if you didn't come up with the money , he'd find you or drag you into a corner away from the guards and give you a nice little whooping. When you didn't pay up the second King was known to break bones.

After a couple of years. J.J started to give King some more control of other operations. One of them was to keep the guard happy. King respected the guards, and the guards respected him. He would give the guards information about what's happening, if there was a problem between gangs. King would give them a heads up that something big was going down. He'd give the guard a small slice of the gambling bet so they would turn the other way when they needed smuggle somethings in the prison. Noticing how good King handle these things J.J appointed him to "Kraft" witch was code name for lieutenant. With his new ranking King was allowed three men to serve under him as " Heats" witch are soldiers.

Things continued this way for years up until the point where J.J got news he was getting transfer to another cell block. Right away J.J told the other leaders of the gang who he was going to promote to take over control of D-Block. When news got around to King that he was going to get control over D-Block, he had to sit down and really take things in. Once he was hard working man with a great up side to the rich life. Now he's going to be in control of over 70 men that would do anything for him. He was living the rich life in Prison.

Tuesday afternoon at lunch one of the guard pulls King on the side. Telling him that there's going to be a shift rotation ,meaning some guards are going to be leaving and some guards are going to be moving into D-Block. With the new news Kings calls a meeting with his "Krafts". With six men all weighing over 200lbs cramped in Kings 6x8 ft cell. King broke the news to them, letting them know what to expect and how to go about business. He also asked his men to get word out to the other Blocks and see if we can gather info on the incoming guards.

Name: Cara Dobbs aka CD
Age:30
Height:5'8"
Hair: Long, wavy, and midnight black always worn in a tight bun
Eyes: Sky Blue
Body: Trim and mucular but not overly muscular volumtuious Curves
Job: Corrections Officer

Cara had been a correction officer for 10 years and had slowly but surely been given harder harder prisoners to take care but the promotions and raises where slow, but what else was a Mixed Breed Latino female to expect. She was being transffed to Cell block-D which was the hardest block in the hardest prison in the state.

She knew she had a reputation for getting the job done and she had worked hard to get where she was. There wasn't a lot of women who did what she did and even fewer still who made it past all the harrassment and grief that she had had to go through. Now, 10 years later she was getting ready to run the toughest roughest block in the state. She wasn't scared or nervous she was confident in her abbilities she had grown up on the wrong side of the tracks and had worked all her life to make things right.

Dressed and ready to start her shift she set down in breakroom to read the file on who was known to run the biggest gang in the block "King" Derek Anthony. Not that she needed the file she had lived in his old neighborhood for a few years while growing up and knew very well who he was, not that he would know her she almost never stepped foot out of her house her nose always in a book but she had noticed him. That was years ago though and a lot of things had changed she had grown up and stopped living in fairy tales.

Putting the file away she went off to start rounds.

"Rise and Shine" is yelled through the block as the guards walk the tiers waking every prison up. King rose from his bed, swinging his feet over the edge touching the cold cement under him, opening his eyes and with a quick rub he's reminded of where he is. Walking up to the sink, splashing water on his face. He takes a look in the mirrors and really can't believe where he's life has taken him. Getting dressed in his prison issued sweats, he sits down on his bunk to let his cell-mate Rob "BuBu" Dawson to get his self together. BuBu is Kings right hand man and second in command.

Reaching behind the sink, BuBu digs out a red note booked thats been hidden under the water pipes. Turning around he hands the book to King. In book contains the all the records of the bets from last months. Who payed, who didn't pay, and who needs to be payed. Going over the book making sure everything is on track. He goes over with BuBu on how the money is to be divided.

At 8:00 a guards voice echos the block "Open it up". In unisons all the cell open unleashing the animals from there cages. Walking to the rail creating a line of 50 Murders,Rapist, and Drug dealers. BuBu steps out first making sure things are safe before King exits there cell. Making there way to the mess hall for breakfast. A guard by the name of Ricky Stanton walks along King. " So the new guards start tomorrow. There's going to be three guards coming, Two of them you don't have to worry about, but there's one that might be a problem." he told King. "Her names Cara Dobbs. She's a real piece of work"... "Thanks Rick" King told him and slip him 60 bucks in tiny folded up bills.

Sitting down for breakfast, enjoying the prison version of scrabble eggs. Kings men started to take there seats at the table surrounding him. Like the guard Ricky, his men started to give him the back round on the incoming guards, and Cara Dobbs was the only real concern. By the time breakfast was over King knew more about Cara Dobbs then the Warden of the prison. He knew , Where she was from, Her familys names, that she was going through a divorce. He knew this woman guard was not to be held lightly.

There's never been a Woman on D-Block, but if the warden has assign this woman here she must hard King thought. Looking at BuBu" YO we need to get that money to Ricky so we can get the yayo in here" he told him while getting up from the table and heading outside.

Cara had worked her last day in her old position and had today off she would start working on Block-D tomorrow. After over viewing the files one last time and doing some unpacking at her new apartment she decided to head to her new station for a look around. The warden had told her he would gladly give her a tour before she started work if that was what she wanted.

On the drive to the prison she reflected on the changes her life had taken resently. Her divorce would be finalized in a week, she was starting a new job even if it was the same career, and she had a new apartment. If you ignored the lonliness and boardom her life was actually doing really great she decided as she pulled into the parking lot.

The warden was giving her a guided tour of the area Block-D was empty but it was recess time as the warden called it. The mess hall was empty as well but she took in everything around her eyeing measuring calculating where the most issues would come from and the most shadey things could happen and have less of a chance of being seen. Finally it was time to view the outside where all her prisoners where currently at. She slowed her pace on the tour eyeing the men matching there looks to there folders thankful for her photograghic memory.

Finally she spotted "King" and took an extra moment to assimulate the boy she had seen on the streets outside her house to the man standing in the middle of a group of other men now. Finally the prisoners noticed her and the wolf whistles and cat calls started but by now she was use to it and just let it all roll off of her and she continued to make her assesments.

King knew the wardens routine when it came to new guards. When all the prisoners where in the yard, he'd show them around the Block with one of the veteran guards allowing the guard to give insight on what part of the block things took place. Where fights would happen, where weapons would be hidden, where messages would be past a long, and where the heads of the gangs would meet for meeting.

In the yard is where King felt most comfortable. Being allow to lift weights, run, and hit the punching bag. Made him feel less of an cage animals and more like a real human being like he once was. For those two hours he would let himself get lose in his exercising and almost forget he was in prison. In the middle of his work-out, the yard with into a frenzy of cat calls, whistles, and profane language. Turning around to see what was going on. It was then when he got his first look at the new guards.

Overlooking the new males guards, King instantly knew these men would be easy to manipulate if not intimidate. But it was this female guard Cara he had some concerns about. While everyman in the yard continued to whistle and rape her with there language. King stood quite and took in her natural beauty of her. He'd been lock up for ten years and this had been the first woman his seen beside the 65 year old nurse who works in the prison hospital. He never seen a latino woman with the a pair of blue eyes Cara was sporting.

King knew she lived in the same neighborhood as him but he never recalled running into her, or hearing anything about her. As they continued past the yard he thought about how tough of a person you have to be, to be moved to this Block. He also thought about how this woman was able to get control of the other Blocks she work on. She must use her sex appeal was the first thing King thought while laying down under the bench press bar. But he never was one to make assumptions about people until he was able to meet and talk to them face to face.

Yard time was over to the day. The prisoners where getting filed back into the Block. Allowing them to roam around for an hour and half before lunch was served. Before all that could happen there where all return to there cells for a head count. Upon returning to the cell. King would have to pass the guard shack where the control board for all the cell doors where. When walking pass none over the prisoner looked any other way but straight. But when King walk by, he turned his head to left looking through the 4 inch thick safety glass that protected the control board from getting broken into, and instantly made eye contacted with Cara. This was the first up and close look her. There eyes connected and King had stone cold look on his face, not single movement in his face. His tattooed cover neck and unshaven face gave him a really intimidating stare. The glass window was only 8 feet long, it took less then four steps, a second in half to walk by. But to King in felt like he was lock on to her for over 10 minutes. Just as the glass came to an end, Cara made the first move, she broke eye contact first and then drop her head down looking at the ground, if as she was defeated.

King was recalling what had just took place a mere seconds ago. Walking up the steep steps the top floor of the block. King was marveling at thought of how this claim to be tough, ball busting woman, had just been defeated in a few intense seconds. Entering his cell, he stood inches away for the steel bars that caged him with a contemplating looking. He knew that one stare that lasted just seconds was not going to get her to look the other way, but he now had something over her, she gave him and sense of power, and that is what King intends to use on her.

Cara knew well the stare was ment to intemidate her as she watched King walk by and she knew bowing her head would look like a weakness to him would give him power, but it gave him less power to see her head bow than to see the tear that ran down her face.

King had always played the prince in her fantasies and to see him in such a place tour her spirit to bits. About 5 years ago she had started talking to King's little brother again who was just a year or so younger than herself. After seeing King in the yard something just didn't make since to Cara so she had used her cell phone and placed the call to find out what really happened. After hearing from him the real reason for the convictions against King she could see him doing something just like that to protect what was his. It was part of the reason he always played the prince in her fantasies.

He would ride in on his black horse and slay the dragon dogs in the yard, defeat the villianous boyfriend her mom had shacked up with at the time who found Cara "fun" then he would lean down sweep her up on his horse with him and ride off with her.

But this was real life and King had never come nor had anyother prince just a villian cloaked as a prince.

Heading home she decided to make that call again and get word out to King that she was a family friend even though he never knew her.

When she got home it was only to find a letter from the latest villan in her life, well if you could call a spray painted message a letter. I florecent orange paint on her door was the messagem "Treturous Cunt". She let out a gasp of pure hate. King's brother still being on the line demanded to know what was going on and became furious on her behalf.

"Not to worry hermano, I will just call the warden and see if I can start tonight so I don't have to deal with this today or tomorrow morning. Maybe after dealing with prisoners for 16 hours washing doors won't seem so bad." She gave a light laugh ending the call and calling the warden.

Lucky for her a guard had called in tonight and there was no cover for him or anyone willing to double shift so she was in. She smiled to herself as she went in the house to shower and change sure King's little brother would put a call in before she got back up there. She quickly showered and changed and slipped into her new uniform pulling up her midnight hair into a bun and staring into her own sky blue eyes, the only thing her father ever gave her.

It was about 45 minutes to light out, when Bubu King's right hand man peak his head into the cell. " YO King...you gotta phone call.....I think it's your bro". King pop out his bed like a coiled spring. Making his way down the tier briskly walking down the steps King's was a little worry. His brother usually called him twice a week on Monday and Friday. Today was Wednesday. The thought of him being in trouble was running around in his head.

" What's good Bro!. was the first thing he said when he pick up the phone. His brother insured him that nothing was wrong that and that he wanted to talk about his friend that recently was move into his Block. You could imagine the look on King's face when his brother friend turn out to be Cara Dobbs. His brother continued to tell him about Cara and how they became friends, and about her recent divorce and how's the her ex would leave her alone. He even told King about her asking about him and how they would talk about him for hours. Before hanging up the phone King's brother mention that although she never met him, she had a deep down attraction to him. He told him that every time they talk about him. A sparkle would a appear in her eye and that she would get a little blemished.

Walking back to his cell thoughts of Cara race through his mind. Half way up the stairs King ran into a guard who stop him to tell him that Cara would be working the Block tonight for another guard. The news was the best news King has heard in years.

Entering his cell King laid his head down on pillow, put his hands under his head locking his fingers, he close his eyes and envision, what it would be like to have met Cara outside these walls. He thought as much as this women puts on a rough front, that what she really wants or needs is a man to protect her. Laying alone in his cell lost in deep thought about Cara, he instinctually reach down towards his crotch only to find how hard his cock was. Over the years he knew how to stimulate himself with his mind. He would usually run scenarios of him hooking up with movie star, or singers that he would see in magazines or on t.v. Something was different this time there was no movie star or singer in his mind. There was only Cara Dobbs and that thought about been her protector had Kings cock harder and bigger then his has every seen, It felt as his cock was going to rip out of it's skin.

Cara arrived at the prison drawing up a plan for how her night would play out. She knew it was lights out so she figured she would start her night by doing a walk through the block and making sure everything was okay. Everyone in the Anthony family knew she wouldn't go against her beliefs but had asked her to keep a special eye on King, since they had done so much to help her she had no problem retunring the favor and helping them sleep better at night by keeping an eye on the eldest son.

Clocked in and ready to go Cara started walking around the cell making sure everyone was down for the night and in there rightful spots. It seemed peaceful tonight and even though the few prisoners that where still awake made snid sexist comments her way she ignored them as she made her way to her true destination having saved it for last.

At last she made it to King's cell her legs wobbly as this would be the closet she had ever been to him she didn't know if she wanted him to be awake or sleeping but she was eager either way. Standing just to the side of King's cell she pulled out her note pad and a pen acting like she was writing out a report she really jotted down a quick note for King.

Dear King,
I know you have never met me and could probably careless about what one of your guards have to say but this needs to be said because I don't know if hermano was able to reach you. I hold the Anthony family in high regards and will do what I can to help them sleep better at night but I will not risk my morals for anything. Your family knows this and respects this so we have a fair understanding of each other. I hope you and I can come to the same understaning.
A family friend,
Cara

She tore of the paper and folded it over making sure noone was wathing her she slipped it into King's cell. Taking a deep breath and counting to ten she walked to the middle of King's cell keeping her eyes forward before turning and glancing in his cell getting her first up close view of him.

King laid in bed that night contemplating the phone call he had with his younger brother earlier. In a nightly routine King would lay a wake in his cell well after every other man on D-Block would. This was King's favorite time of the day, the only thing you could where the guards working.

He heard a guard approaching his cell but King payed no attention to it, as it was a just something he grew norm of. He listen to a deep breath being inhaled and a moment later the sounds of a piece of paper hitting the cell floor echoing through the cell like a hammer hitting a nail.

With laziness King rolled over to his side locking in on the folded up paper on the ground. Quickly looking up at who drop it, all he could catch was a glimpse of the guard. He reach over grabbing the note, turn back over to lay on his back he open the note, with his left hand reach over between the bed and wall and pulled out a 3 inch small pocket flashlight that was smuggled in. He turn the light toward the paper to unveil the word that had been written down.

Upon reading the letter, it instantly brought King out his Gangsta, hard nose, don't take shit from nobody persona. It literally but pain in his heart hearing about his family and not been able to be around them. King pop off his bed, reach forward and grab a book that sat above the sink. Turn the paper over exposing the blank side he began to write.

Cara
Yes the word did get to me from my brother. I thank you for respecting my family. As far as respect between you and I. I understand your position here. I know you understand mine. With that said, As long as you don't get in the way of any of the business that goes on in here we'll be fine. I promise you I would ask you to do anything that conflicts with your morals. I know for some crazy reason you find comfort in coming to work, like you rather be in here with us knuckle heads then been in the real world. I promise you that your time at work won't be hard or tough.

P.s Just so we understand each other after reading this come by the cell 5 min after 1:00am.
King.

King read over the letter he just wrote, put the book back on the shelf , tuck the pen and flash light back in there hidden spots. You stood up made his was to the cell , took hold of a hand held mirror. Place his hand on through the cold steel resting his forearms on the bar. King tap his mirror on the bar three time, a code that informs the guards King has something. With in a minute a guards was at the cell door. Yo man, make sure guard Cara gets this by mid-night. King told the guard Remember this never happen he said handing him the letter with a 40 bucks tightly folded up.

Cara about hit the other guard as he slipped his hand into her pants pocket but lucky for him she realized he was slipping her something. Waiting for the guard to go on by as she stood there as if nothing had happened she waited 10 more minutes before letting the other guards no she was stepping away for a minute.

Taking her time and not rushing she headed off to the restrooms that where in the locker rooms. After making sure no one else was around she sat on the bench and pulled out the paper the guard had slipped her. She was instantly shocked to see it was a letter from King. She read the note twice before taking a second to analaze it. She wasn't sure what this meeting stuff was about but she would well inform him at this meeting that she wouldn't look for what was going on but she wouldn't turn a blind eye to anything she saw. Something would be said even if not to the superiors or other guards. She perferred to deal with the inmates in her own way.

Head back to her stand she walked the long way around to pass King's cell when she approached she watched him hard eyed to make up for the bowing of her head earlier in the day and nodded her head slightly and continued on to her post.

Laying in the dark of the night, With head on the far end of the bed so he can look out his cell door. Foots steps of the guard are as loud as jackhammers in the still of the night. So King know when a guard is coming buy there shoes contacting the cement, there handcuffs and keys clacking together.

So when Cara pass by King's cell she had his full attention. She had on a ice piercing stare on her face when she came into view. King laid there with a stone cold look back her. When she nodded, King's eyes followed her out of sight. He rolled over grab his watch and looked at the time. 11:23pm the watch read. King close his eye and when into some deep thinking..

Even though she friends of the family, there out there and I'm in here. Two different worlds. Were just going to have to keep the really hard stuff, like the money and drugs away from her. There's noway thats flying with her. But if she stays out the way everything will be good.. Man if she's from the neighborhood and it kind of sounds like she married homie from the block. I'm sure that dude has some tie's in here... This is not about staying ahead in here this would be about be a friend of my Whanau

King just laid in his bed still as board waiting for the time to pass. Pondering how this meeting might go.

Cara roamed the floors of the block no longer paying attention to time at first she had watching the clock like a hawk but long ago she had learned that only made time go more slow. So she had stopped watching the clock and distracted herself from wandering what in the world King wanted from her. She passed quiet words with the other guards, did checks, and even went as far as to let her mind drift off into the magical world of daydreams even though she had learned long ago it was nothing but lies that let you fall hard in the real world but it had been awhile since she had indulged so she "rewarded" herself.

The day was sunny and her new house was finally in order. The flowers where growing in a brilliant colors and there she was sitting on the porch swing pregnant rocking slowly as she hummed.

She gave out a wistful she would probably never have kinds after the last time diablo beat into the hosptal the doctor told her it would be near impossible for her to ever have children now. She glaned down at her watch it was time to head to King's cell. Walking slowly and silently she made her way to King's cell. She was at the cell just before his when an arm reached out and snagged her arm. She instantly froze and looked from the hand on her arm to the face of the owner of that hand. "Tretchorous Cunt" the man fairly hissed. Cara looked him dead in the eye her expression on that one that would make the ice queen herself shiver she leaned in whispering in a pure venom laced voice. "Remove yourself from me and while your at learn some new insults that ones been used today perro."

When the inmate released her and stepped back she stepped regally away from his cell and in front of King's making sure was well out of touching distance her face a mask as cold as the artic in a blizzard. She looked and waited for him to speak.

Ola Chica King said with a smile. King had just witness everything that just had happen. He heard every word that was exchanged between the two. King stood infront of his cell door so close his chest was press up on it. Don't worry Chica, I won't be harming you. And you know I won't. So why don't take that fucken cold ice queen look off your face. King still sporting the smile. So here we are the queen of the guards, no shit taking, tough chica and The leader of D-Block Gurellas King eyes roam over her body watching her second by second her start to relax.Me and you chica are going to have to life this life together King didn't know how she was going to react but King reach his hand through the bars and extended in her direction.
fingers spread wide apart Kings eyes look down at this hand then back at Cara.

Cara listen and watched King she had a feeling he had seen and heard what happened as he reached his hand out for her she never took her eyes from his. Walking around his hand she walked slinky right up to the bars her voice spilling out in that honey rich latin accent she had, "You 'Mi Rey' are the least of my fears and you speak of us as king and queen of diffrent lands. Are we going to marry and unite our kingdoms now too?"

Her voice was laced with sugar her eyes still on his as her hand reached up and softly caressed his cheek. "How about trying a treaty to end the war before proposing muchacho grande?" She leaned in closer her lips a breath from his "And do refrain from calling me chica I was told you could do better than that muchacho."

Still smiling sadistically she leaned back eyeing him and shaking her head in apparent pitty.

When Cara's hand caress Kings face. It was the first time another human being let alone another woman had touch his face since he's been lock up. Letting out a deep breath upon feeling her light brown, soft, skin touch face. "''ātaahua', If we both want to keep are position on the top of this world I do agree when need to come to some sort of treaty" King took his hand and places it on her hip and trace her curve of her body up to the her naked face.

"I know your not afraid of me 'ātaahua'!. But as much you put this touch persona on. I see right through it Reina. King tells her in his deep rough voice.

His hand cup her face and feels her lean into his palm and close her eyes. "While your in here 'ataahua' your going to be safe" He spoke to her

She relaxed into his touch for a moment before stiffening, "I know I have nothing to fear here but why dont you start discussing your part of this treaty and we can go from there."

King feels Cara come to ease in his hand. Then with in minutes he feels her stiffen and a focus look grace her face. Dropping his hand from his face and pulling it back in to the confine of his cell " Look I know how much this job means to you. And you are not blind to what goes on and how the Block works. Lets start by having you work this night shift. You see to keep you from seeing something that you might not like is to have you work, when this animals are lock up for the night"

Cara eyed King closely processing what he was telling. After a moment her vibrant blue eyes now filled with determination stared deeply into his warm brown eyes. "I hate to disappoint King but I am scheduled morning shifts. So how about we try this you see me you stop whatever you are doing and let me keep my illusions that you really are a great and wanderful guy? Or better yet wait it you know I am on a diffrent part of the block so you don't have to risk crashing you image in my head?" She practically purred rolling her hip against the bars of his cell, tempting the beast within.

"Look Cara I can't promise you everything is going to stop. You know where we are and how we need to take advantage of the time where out of here" King said while gripping hold of the bars and giving them a shake. Staring into her piercing blue eyes king spoke again
"I find it hard to believe that the situation I'm in will put a damper on the illusion of me you have 'ataahau. " Kings hands moved for the bars infront of his face to side of Cara's hip. His hands grazing the cold steel of her handcuffs, over her hard night-stick, finally coming into contact with her rolling hips.

"I can't control the time you work, but I can control what your duties are in here somewhat. Anything involved with me and my tops guys, I will try to keep out of sight. I have already talk to J.J "(the top guard)"We discuss that you won't be on shake down duties." King with a hand on her hip feeling the beauty of a woman. He notice the frustration look on her face when he broke her the news that she wouldn't be participating in the shake-down of inmates cells.

Not wanting to see her mad King raise his left hand up to her cheeks again this time with soft touch yet firm grip he caressed her face. His stiff, tough fingers traced down her cheek his thumb slowly tracing the contour of her bottom lip."There some things your not going to like about this, But I promise you 'ataahau that it's all for the better"

She didn't know why Cara finally felt warn down finding out this new bit of news made her feel inadequet like she was wrong is some was for the job here. She had long delt with being a woman in a man's world but learning that King the man who had always been her hero had but stepping stones in her way proving to not want her here hurt more than she understood. Stepping back away from the cell she spoke her voice now voice now void of emotions. "Fine King as you see fit after all you are king of the block now I have to attend to my make believe job."

With that she walked off not giving him another chance to speak.

King could see that the news that he just broke. Had Cara feeling frustrated, Powerless, and Inadequate. King felt bad about how she felt, But he knew what he did was for the better. If she was involve in the shake downs she would be force not only by her protocol as an prison guard but just on a purely moral stances.

King laid back on his bed close his eyes and went to sleep. He had clear conscience knowing what he did was the right thing. Over everything between them and how she made him in such a short while. He knew he had to do everything he could to survive in her.

King went through the next day as if the nothing happen. It was only at 5:30am the next morning when King woke from a dream that he and Cara where the King and Queen of a island side by side the ruled the people with a stern hand yet respect all them as equal and at the end the day it was queen who bowed at his feet respectfully.
That was the only time through the day that Cara cross his mind. He knew she was off yesterday but today she would be working the day-shift. He was walking through the day in mind of how it was going to work.

After she had walked away from King her night had ill improved. She was depressed and by the time mornnig came she was worn to the bone she had not slept in 48 hours and her last hopes had been vanished. She had almost called the Anthony family and cancelled the work she was doing for them it was part of the reason she had fought so hard to get a transfer to this block. But she knew she couldn't do that to them. She kept reminding herself that as soon as she finished this job for them her new business would be up and running and she wouldn't have to work here.

When morning came she had to do the bed check before cells where opened she was very down and morose as she did this saving King's cell for last again. As she approached his cell she couldn't help but to look in at him and pause a moment. She knew her gaze was vacant and lost and wounded beyond repair but there was nothing she could do about that. She tried to keep going but seemed unable to move as if waiting for something to happen.

King felt a strong yet broken presences behind him. He quick rolled over with his head raise and notice Cara standing in front of him. He was just going to roll back over and ignore her. But a strange feeling of confusion was whimpering out of her. He knew with in the next couple of hours everybody would be up and about. King stood walk over too the cell door, just like the night before. He could see in her eyes she wanted to move along and get away from here, but she couldn't there something holding her place. Only with a stare and a look of the eyes was the only thing King spoken. Yet Cara with out word spoken she understood and took a step forward.

Cara didn't want to but she stepped closer to King glancing around with her eyes to make sure she was unseen. She glanced at him helpless and void inside. Her words where hollow and barely made a sound from her lips as she asked, "What?"

King looked at her then at the ground in front of his cell. She was hesitant with her stepping fight her urge to obey his simple command. Cara battle with her physical and mental emotions as she stood just there just a couple a feet away from King. What felt like a entire life time was only a mere few minute. Thinking that she would not step King all but gave up and in a fraction of a second before King decided to return to his bed and leave this situation be. Care lost her battle with her physical emotions and step forward to the cell bars. Looking each away once again to see if anyone had notice her she took another step towards him. King stood there at the bars watching her every step she took towards him. When she stop she was so close if not for the bars there bodies would have made contact. With her head down she stood before him. King reach out with his right hands place his hand under her chin cupping it with his fingers he lift her face so there eyes could meet.
