Challenge - How Distinctive Is Your Writing?

I've only guessed in my group and I'm getting a big enough headache from that! Thank god they've been divided up. Not sure I have the strength for more than one group :s

My goodness....and that was merely reading Group A, now to reread and make guesses? Ach, what have I gotten into? hehehe *g*

I know a few places you could get yourself into. ;)

Damn it, I missed the deadline :(

I was almost finished mid-day yesterday too...
but got pulled-away / distracted on other stuff *sigh*

It's her f'd up way of saying 'there's 13 hours between us, and i am behind you' :D

I google time zones and the 1st website you hit on tells you the current time in all the capitals of the world :D and you can search further to figure out other places. I have various time DIFFERENCES between parts of Canada and here memorised, and i have I ingrained into me from childhood ;)

Since being on Lit I have become an expert on time zones.......believe me.

Ooops......hijack. Sorry.

I wanna gather all these together into one document & post it from the Coming Together account.

It'd be at least 18K words ... and could go in Novellas.

If it happens to win a monthly prize, the $ would go to Coming Together's charity.

Sound good?
Sounds good to me, switchy.

So all you have to do is wait until everyone has voted, because they will all vote correctly for their own stories. Then you can figure it out pretty easy :D

Unless, you chose to leave yourself as a wildcard. . . and take a chance you'll have enough guesses right that it won't matter if you make yours purposely wrong.;) :D

Seeing as im 'unofficially' out of action on the forums unless at uni, i'm going to have to print them all out, work them all out and post my repsonses tomorrow morning !!!

*get's a-printing*

The only problem I forsee with that is that some people's entries may be part of longer WIPs.

Nevermind... I read on and saw your "excerpt" explanation, so it wouldn't be a problem after all.

So far I think we're all wildly off target, except for maybe Simon.

I can't wait to see how he does with group C.

My goodness I just finished the group I'm the wildcard in :p and trust me, just because you didn't toss in a story doesn't make the guessing any easier. I'll move on to group 2 shortly.

I'm still meddling with the group that I may or may not be in...and it's a lot harder than I thought it would be...

First off, fond and acknowledging recognition for Minsue for a fine job in all aspects, a tremendous amount of effort and well done in all ways.

Secondly, planes and trains and boats and cars and trucks an moto's and some even got horses and one I was going to attempt, a haywagon and my goodness, so many Europeans, I had no idea.

And with a penchant for 'beamers', it seems along with some pretty high lifestyles among the commuters in less grand accomodations.

I read each story and sighs, haven't got a clue, but it was good and interesting reading and several stories that I would like to read when completed or followed up on if it happens.

One thing I might suggest: I had planned to read each group and the visit all the author's sites and scan a few stories of each. I am not savvy enough to navigate quickly unless going back to posts and following links, or searching in the author's index for names. It would have been easy for me had a link been provided next to each author in their group.

There probably are easier ways to do that, but none came to mind.

All in all, a delightful diversion and a window into the many different styles of AHER"s, thanks again Min and all.

amicus...

How embarrassing will it be when I post all the numbers with no writer beside them? I'll do as well that way as any other. Zilch, with the possible exception of one writer.

I suppose I would have been easy is I'd written Harry Dick jacking off in his piece of shit car on 8th Ave. in New York. Thus far no one is even close. :D :D :D :D
