Challenge - How Distinctive Is Your Writing?

hm, does it count as an excuse for wrong guesses that i had to babysit all afternoon and have an headache now? haven't even read all texts yet...

One thing I might suggest: I had planned to read each group and the visit all the author's sites and scan a few stories of each. I am not savvy enough to navigate quickly unless going back to posts and following links, or searching in the author's index for names. It would have been easy for me had a link been provided next to each author in their group.

I had considered that, Ami, but the copy/pasting and listing of authors took so much longer than expected that I simply ran out of steam. I may go back and edit in the links later tonight if I can work up the motivation.

I've had one right last I looked...but this reminds me how many of the entrants I've not read before except in the forums. I may have to go read a few things tomorrow morning after work and then make some guesses. (That's not too late for guessing, is it? We'd be talking around 730 Eastern time.)

Having read all the entries in section A, I've come to the conclusion that I've got two chances of getting any right - none and Buckley's. I recognise the style in three or four, but can't remember whose style they are anyway. Oh well, what the hell.
I'm guaranteed one right in section C, maybe
