Changing "Default Font Size" not working in Android phones

Lately I find that I can't increase the font size when using my Android phone. I'm talking about the feature where you select the "A" tab along the top of a story. The drop-down beneath "Font Size" is disabled. I've tried this in both Chrome and Brave browsers. I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem. My eyes are old and I really can't read the stories easily on my phone now that this feature isn't working for me. Help!

I have the same issue on my iPhone, and on my laptop.

Both is Safari and Chrome. It's not working

I'm having the same issue with my android phone. It stated when they update the web page.
