Charlotte NC, Info

Well, not exactly a transfer but she has had a job offer there. She understands that there is a big difference from California and N.C. She is willing to make the changes for things like the privelidge of owning a home and the lower cost of living I myself have lived on the east coast before and liked it then. LOL. I'm not sure which of us is more excited at the thought of this move

Well cool....Charlotte is a great place. you would liek it here and I am sure the cost of living is cheaper than California...Gas is about $1.96 a gallon...that has to be cheaper

That it is. Gas is around $2.30 a gallon now. By the way, how much is milk out there? just a curiousity....

LOL - I don't even know....Never buy it....A 12 pack of beer is $6.99 and a pck of smokes is about $3.00 though.....Oh thats right....they have outlawed smoking in California....

Well that answers two of my other questions LOL. I know it seems like they have outlawed smoking here but they have simply made it extremely uncomfortable to smoke. With smokes running bloody near $5 a pack.

Well Charlotte has the NFC Champion Carolina Panthers....NBA basketball is coming back in a few months...We are 2 hours from beautiful mountains and 3 hours from the beach.....and if you are into NASCAR racing...and you may be since you found me on the NASCAR thread...charlotte is the center of the NASCAR universe!

pirate and violette....the night life is great in charlotte....there are bunches and bunches of places....cute little pubs..bars..dance clubs...and downtown char. has lots of restaurants and bars to go too...the downtown is great...just wander around and go from place to place at night..its fun....theres a comedy zone...and another comedy club i think....lots of different bars that fit to everyones taste....anything in particular youre looking for?...

well cool....i moved here from orlando almost 15 yrs ago...and love it....only thing i miss is being really close to the beach....but i love everything else about it...i think you will too...
