AMA: Coffee & Nylons

Clearly the two prevailing themes in my life if you've seen my posts from The Cozy Corner. This is a space to discuss, rant about, troubleshoot, appreciate your coffee. I don't discriminate or judge. It could be about how to make your brews better, grind settings, upgrade options for your next machine etc.

Bean discussions and what you're currently drinking also highly welcomed. Feel free to ask about what I'm drinking and what I'd recommend and I'll try to find an option in your locale (my org is pretty global).

In terms of nylons... Kinda speaks for itself. Use this to discuss the fetish/obsession, psychology, styles, quality nylons and where to get them. Ask any burning questions you might have and I'll do my best to answer.

Probably will be a pretty dead space but it's here if you need it.

Same beans as yesterday. Miffy mug used today to mix it up. New beans start tomorrow. Inverse heart was a total failure...

New beans today. Decided to go with Pele Blend from Axil.

Nice dark chocolate and red berry notes. Latte art was a bit messy but I was in a rush.

i didnt make it, but i had an iced turmeric latte recently, and it was awesome. i can only DIY so much.

Ice turmeric latte should be easy enough to make at home though if you have an espresso maker. The Breville Bambino is a nice apartment-friendly one.

What is the most creative latte art you've made? I think it's so cool to see.

Probably a bear or a quad stack tulip. I don't have good photos of them so I'll try to recreate it when I'm in the office. Here's a triple stack.

Last of the Axil Hot Cross Bun blend today. It really does taste toasty and like hot cross buns without having any flavour extract in it. Pretty surreal.

A safe space for coffee and nylons and any intersecting discussions like: what denier of nylons would make for the best coffee filter? For now I think this overt display has flown under the mod radar.

Colombia El Placer batch filter with yuzu curd banana bread. A delightful combo since it cuts the denseness of the banana bread. A nice cozy lemongrass aftertaste.

Firsf brew of the last bag of 'Bad Bunny' blend from ONA. Enjoyed this to 'Pür Love' by MGNA Crrrta. What a glorious Tuesday.

Wonky office quad stack. Not sure what beans they had in the hopper but it tasted of dark chocolate and cherries.

The final Bad Bunny spressi. I had to do it justice with some good old fashioned rosetta work. Glad I was able to execute this.
