The other night i was being tossed around like a rag doll. we had a few hours of really good sex when my companion who is in pretty good shape. asked me if i could see his heart beating in his chest. I thought he was just trying to get my attention
but then he looked sad I knew something was up.
He said his heart hurt and he didn't feel good.
He went to his parents house to get some acid reflux medicine because i thought it could be that
he is only 29 years old.

Later he found out that he had a minor heart attack.

Does anyone know how to tell? what do you do if someone has a heart attack etc...

i am really freaked out by this......

thanks

if it is ever a full blown heart attack main thing honestly is don't panic if you don't know what the hell is happening (or havent been trained) don't do a thing, get the professionals in asap, call that ambulance.. If you want to be able to help, go get yourself CPR training it doesn't take too long to do and does make a huge difference in some cases.

My father had a heart attack about 2 months ago. He was running on a treadmill. Seemed in great shape.

Being in an emergency profession, one of the guys in the gym gave him an asprin.

That single asprin saved him extensive heart damage.

Any chest pain should be investigated. Usually 29 year olds think its something else, but always a good idea to check.

Was he using any drugs or medications?

no he doesn't do drugs
he mentioned last week that he was going on Viagra
I joked about it when he mentioned the pain.
he hadn't taken anything.

it was so out of the blue.

i am a paramedic here in CALIF...........chest pain can be caused by many things..some benign such as muscle strains.........in any case all chest pain should be investigated....if is causing woory then it is best to call 911...........note on Viagra...if he is taking it and he ever calls 911 make sure he advises the medics/fire and docs that he is taking it....we give nitroglycerine for chest pain in the field...........we cant give it if the patient is on VIAGRA it could be fatal.....dont worry about embarassment be honest and not be dead

Um, you were having great sex.

and he is mentioning going on Viagra?

Isnt that for people with impotence?

At 29, if he is going on Viagra, maybe there is other health issues he needs to investigate.

he's a freak!

thanks for the info

how about the aspirin?

yes .....we give a dose of 5 baby aspirin ( BABY ASPRIN chewable because 5 adds up to the correct dose we give in our county) before we give the nitro............aspirin is a blood thinner...if you have any more questions ask............i will be out of town for the weekend.......biggest thing here is Viagra and nitro are deadly together

Aspirin

I too am a Medic.
We give Aspirin for the anti coagulant affect it has. It really is not a blood thinner, but it keeps the blood cells from coagulating (Forming clots, scabs and the such) this helps blood flow get past the blockage in the heart to perfuse the damaged tissue. Usual dose we give is 324 mg (we too use baby aspirin. It is chewable, tastes better and easier to swallow) That is all you need and it will save lives., but don't go out there chewing aspirin all the time. If you take to much it starts affecting your kidneys and that is a very painful & slow process. Other then that be sure to let the Medic/ER staff know if you are taking viagra. The two DO NOT mix. Viagra is made to move blood to your pecker and keep it there. Nitro is a vaso dilator, meaning it expands your blood vassals. If taken together your blood pressure drops and you can go into irreversible shock, and in layman’s terms, That is a very bad thing.
When it comes to the old ticker, it is best to go get it checked out. Most deaths from heart attacks occur because folks write it of as indigestion and don’t call. I am not saying this couse I need the money, I volunteer so I don't get a dime. Besides it's always interesting to hear some of the stories people come up with. I wont go into details because that would be unprofessional, also illegal. I am sure if Krspy and I got together we could have some stories to share!!!!!

Call 911 thats what we're there for.:D

I was in that horrible position once myself. The first thing odd I noticed was the sweat ... suddenly he was soaked! Huge beads of sweat on his face (like the gatoraid commercials). Just as I registered this he sat up, groaned, and put his hands on his chest. I promptly stopped my up and down hip movements (feels creepy to add the sex thing here but that is where we were!).

Seconds later he "recovered" and wanted to continue. Joked about "gas pains". Nurse mode took over and I started quizzing him about other symptoms, history, etc. He got sort of pissed and just wanted to get back to what we were doing. Another few seconds later he got quiet, got sweaty again, and suddenly pushed me off, rolled off the bed, and puked in the trash can.

I CALLED 911!!!

End of story ... turns out it was his gallbladder ... not a heart attack. But, would this be the moral of the story ... I knew what to look for and took the best action. It wasn't a heart attack, but I didn't know that at the time.

Call the local Red Cross ... take a CPR class. You may never be in this situation again but if you are you'll be prepared.

I have never been with a man who had a heart attack while we were in bed together...

But I HAVE been with a man who had an anxiety attack (sometimes called a panic attack). He warned me that he had them occasionally, and they were usually triggered by intense stress. But he had never had one in bed! His chest hurt, he began to sweat and almost hyperventilate, it scared me so badly. But when he calmed down, he said, no...it happened all the time.

I'm wondering how many men have heart attacks and just write them off as 'stress' or 'panic attacks', when there is actually some serious danger?
