Desire managed to take a seat at the far end of the table from Cillian and Siora. It was bad enough she had to watch how obsequious Cillian was toward her, she didn't have to hear it as well. He was a different person around her. A person she didn't even recognize. She hoped Siora realized what Cillian was doing for her. What he had given up. Or perhaps he hadn't, perhaps this is what he had wanted all along.
She caught Vuduin's eye when he entered so he would sit by her.

She sipped her wine. She had to admit that even the most mediocre Elven wine was better than anything in the empire or Freeholds. But the Freeholds had the best ales.
Phyrra was looking at them. Desire smiled her most innocent smile. "It's none of your business." She mouthed surreptitiously.
