Christmas Melodies...

I've managed to keep some of my parents vinyl Christmas albums. I have original Bing Crosby and Perry Como records. They have to be almost 70 years old.

Relative to them, this is somewhat new.

Ouch! That hurts to realize they're that old! I think I still have Dad's Bing Crosby one. And that Alan Jackson one is a favorite of mine too. If we're talking country - this one's perfect for a Christmas two-step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDCmeKs8Zpk

This is my favorite Christmas song but this is my favorite version

Mary did you know Pentatonix

Mary Did You Know - Kathy Mattea

Mary

That's my favorite version of that too! In fact, I love the whole album.

She was actually the first person I heard sing that song. It gets overshadowed these days but it's still my favorite version too!

Samesies. It's a more intimate rendition than others.

This thread brings me joy. 😊

A Charlie Brown Christmas - Vince Guaraldi.

All day. ❤️🎄

I probably have at least 100 to 150 Christmas CD's I've collected over the years, so I would have to play at least 5 of them a day if I wanted to listen to all of them. But this is the first one I pull out every year, and I play it several times during the season. I even sneak it in once or twice throughout the year!

Last year my mom passed on Halloween. So I kept asking, send me a sign and let me know you’re OK. One day after Thanksgiving, the electrical started freaking out in my car. I said OK mom, if this is you, play me your favorite Christmas song. I had to stop at Work for something and ran inside forgot all about it. Came back out, started her up and what songs on the radio? I’ll be home for Christmas. My mom’s favorite.
