Does Bear know me or WHAT????

you like our truck for our tailgate parties huh thought you would lol

hi NC how is your day going

Cookie this recipe can be baked or bbqed thought you might like it

this goes great with any grilled meal
4 (10-12 oz.) baking potatoes -- scrubbed/cut lengthw
-into eights
4 (12-14 oz.) sweet potatoes -- scrubbed/cut lengthw
-into eights
6 tablespoons olive oil -- divded
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 teaspoons grated orange peel

Nothing goes with steak like potatoes--especially these char-grilled wedges
of sweet and baking spuds brushed with orange-scented olive oil.
1. Heat grill.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add baking potatoes and cook
4 minutes (water will not return to a boil). Add sweet potatoes to pot and
cook 5 minutes more, until baking and sweet potatoes are partially cooked.
Drain potatoes and transfer to 2 large cookie sheets.
3. Combine 4 tablespoons oil, salt and pepper in cup; brush over both sides
of potatoes. Combine remaining 2 tablespoons oil and orange peel in another
cup; set aside.
4. Grill potatoes over medium heat 10 to 16 minutes, turning every 5
minutes until tender and browned. Transfer to serving plate and brush tops
with reserved oil-orange mixture. Makes 8 servings.

Daaaaaamn that's impressive =P Me and my dad usually ghetto it up with a folding table and a mini stove top and a few fry pans =P

'Course when you wake up at 3am you're so tired that's about all you can make work. There are always people drinking straight thru from the previous night to impeed the early morning napping. =P Thank god for the Lion's Club and their abundance of coffee

I figured with NASCAR Season kicking off this weekend that Lit needed a place for NASCAR fans to congregate for the races. A place to brag and cheer (or weep) for your favorite driver! I have the best chef on Lit, Mr. Big Bear himself who has graciously agreed to cater the parties. So let the fun begin!

Oh BTW - Go #24, #25, and #48!!

Evenin' everyone...

Someone once offered to school me on the finer points of NASCAR...but here we are ~ on the eve of the opening weekend ~ and I haven't had a lick of learnin'! :(

 I wonder if there's a crash course I can take...
