Commanding Soldier x Soldier (Closed to KINKYCanada)

Kat took her seat between the guys, not holding it against Melissa for eyeing the guys, hell she did herself when she came in. After all, they were gorgeous men in fantastic shape, It was no fault of hers if she looked and admired. Nodding she looked at Bama when he asked, "Yeah I'm good," She said, taking the beer with a thanks as she took a long drink. She settled into the chair as she listened to the other soldiers. She glanced over, surprised to see that her K9 had abandoned her side to go sprawl on the small couch in the corner. He'd never felt this comfortable with any unit they'd been on before. She was pleased through and turned her attention back to the game. "Nah, thanks though." She declined as she relaxed, enjoying hanging out with this unit.

"Nice to see Jazz isn't minding us anymore, an making himself at home!" Banks said, and threw the small carry case of cigars onto a near by chair. He handed Doyle a fresh unopened pack of cards. "Your idea your game choice. Limits for the house are hundred by in. and you can re-buy in as many times as you can afford. Anyone caught cheating deals with Bama or myself! Any and all pussy whiners tonight will be dealt with the same. Now if there are no more questions let's get playing. Doyle whats' the game?" Banks asked.

The men were family and now so was Kat and Jasper she knew they would give their lives for her and protect her against any and all enemies. This included anyone on the base. This room was now part of her home and the guests knew this they knew fucking with Kat was fucking with unit and would be met with dire punishments. They wanted her to be herself and that went for her choice of extra curricular activities!

"So the boys tell me you are the only soldier to be able to keep up with them?" Billings said making small talk. Kat knew she would be a target of the men on base seeing the men out numbered the women 25 to 1. Billings seemed particularly drawn to Kat and couldn't take his eyes off her. "After the game maybe we could go for a walk. I'm sure your dog would like one after a night of smoke and noise!" He asked unabashedly. The boys said nothing leaving any choice to her.

KC

(Alright, so I've never played cards of any variety. So I'm gonna leave it vague and let you decide?)

Kat smiled, happy to finally be fitting in she nodded to Banks "he's never done this before, so he must really like you guys." she grinned. Taking the cards she shuffled, decided on a game and dealt the cards. It felt right, sitting here with the guys, ragging on each other a bit and enjoying time together. She eyed Billings, she knew she'd be the eye of the men and she didn't mind that even if she didnt intend to do anything about it. She smiled and shook her head, "Thanks but no thanks." She kept it polite, not wanting to make an enemy, but she knew his intentions and a walk would lead further, whether tonight or another night. And this was one rule she didnt have an interest in breaking. Sleeping with another soldier usually ended poorly and screwed up working relationships. Plus it had the potential to give you a bad reputation on base. And she did not want that, she worked hard to have the reputation she had.

(All Good lol)

As they played five card stud and the slowly the time melted away until it was Kat, Bama, Billings and Murtaugh. Banks, Conners, Winger and Parks were just outside by an open fire still drinking.

"Doyle you have got to be the most envied woman on base bunking with these four. I'm stuck with ten caty broads in gen pop! haha What I wouldn't give to swap rooms with you for a night! What'ya say Bama want to put your bunk on the table?" Melissa asked throwing more chips onto the the already large stack this hand would put all but Kat and Bama out of the game if they lost seeing they had no more money to play with! Bama smiled and looked over at Kat.

"If I win what do I get out of it? I can't go and room with you I'll get tossed into the brig!" Bama said thinking of the possibilities, though not the best looking she was rumored to be an animal in the sack.

"If you win I'll do your clothes for a month! Based on a one a week clean! If I win I get to bunk with you tonight!" Billings laughed at the proposal. None of the others could do that seeing they all slept in dorm style rooms. Very few people had their own room never mind their own place.

"Win, win for you Bama!" Billings said.

"What ya think Doyle?" Bama asked. wanting to see what she thought. He knew the others wouldn't give a shit they had endured listening to each other fucking more then once. All but Banks who never had a woman in the house.

KC

Kat snickered at Melissa's offer. Kat decided she was out and tossed her cards in. "Hell Bama, she ain't asking to bunk with me." She teased, she didnt care if he had a woman in his room. She stood, grabbing a new beer and making her way outside to the fire, surprised when her dog didnt bother to follow. Finding an open chair next to Banks she dropped down gracefully. She took a long drink as she relaxed watching the fire. "Melissa wins and she's bunking with Bama." She chuckled as she toed off her boots, leaving herself barefoot as she curled into the chair. She was feeling tired but not quite ready to call it a night and head to bed. Honestly she enjoyed just spending time with her unit, enjoying the sense of family that they gave her.

When she gave her approval to Bama. He smiled, "Well Seeing my new bunk mate don't mind the extra body in the next room I guess my bunk is on the table!" When Kat left it was just the three of them.

Banks gave a laugh when he hard what was going for bets now. "Aw hell Doyle you should have put a stop to it! Bama is louder then all hell when he gets into it. Better hope he wins for your sake. haha" Banks said taking his feet off the last lounger and letting Kat have it! "Where's Jazz?" He asked. Seeing he had been with her everystep of the way since she got there.

"How much you loose Doyle?" Parks asked. He still seemed down but not so much so that he ignored anyone. Winger was now sleeping in his lounger a dozen beers surrounding him. "Winger I think knew what might happen with Murtaugh, so he got nice a drunk, easier to block out the noise levels! haha" Parks added. Conners had left so it was just the unit out there.

"You take another day of rest, and I mean rest! We need you back in tip top shape by monday, there is a better then good chance we are going hunting!" Banks said crushing another can. "I will also need you on the range doing pistol work at the least tomorrow night! We will be night shooting the rest of the week. Lastly I think it's as good a time as ever to start acclimating Jasper to trusting us a little more! If you are downed or knocked out we have to know what to do with Jasper. Cause the alternative is not one any of us will like!" Kat knew in a fire fight if the handler went down and the dog was unable to be handled by anyone there then he was put down. This Kat knew was not an option with these men.

"So what do you think of Murtaugh?" Parks asked Kat changing the subject after she answered Banks.

KC

She shrugged, "Ah, he's inside, napping on the couch, guess he's decided I'm safe enough with you guys, and he doesn't need to shadow me quite as much." She grinned, a she lounged, finishing her current beer. Glancing at Parks she shrugged, "Lost count," Laughing she looked back at Banks, "I'll be up for shooting whenever you guys do. I'm getting bored just hanging out here." She said, but she'd take it easy other than target practice, she knew it was important to heal up properly, especially if they were going out Monday.

Nodding when he mentioned Jasper. "Yeah. If I go down, he will lose it. Even knowing you guys, and trusting you, he may not react well. But Normally what I ask is that at least one team member carries tranqs, I have them, they are fast acting and will put him down in less than 2 minutes." She said "But I'd like to start the process of acclimating him to at least one other member of the team. Its a slow process, I'll warn you. And at times it'll seem like we're just fooling around, but it's bonding." She said. "Mainly the first few days, It's just a bunch of playing ball and playing tug with him." She explained.

Eyeing Parks she shrugged, "She seems alright. Got a thing for any and all of you guys," She chuckled, teasing them a bit, "Not that I blame her." She smirked as she opened another beer, glancing over as Jasper wandered out, wagging his tail at his handler and plunking down behind her chair, away from the heat of the fire .

It was nice for the men to have a new team mate that didn't have an agenda, Kat was there to do a job, she wasn't jockeying for promotions or waving a woman's rights banner. She wanted to fit in and was willing to work at it.

"Good to know! We'll all go over how to tranq Jazz if the need should arise. As for one man being trained, Parks is the natural choice seeing he owns a couple of brutes back home and has had the most contact with them!" Banks said to her. When Kat made the can't blame her comment everyone but Banks laughed, Kat could tell this news even if it was playful banter pleased him. He gave her a faint smile. Billings walked out of the house which forced Banks to stop looking at Kat. "Well sorry folks, Melissa lost but Bama and her decided to still... Fuck! I think you guys are in for a long night! Mel was telling me that she was more pent up then a hundred prom queens. haha Well I'm heading to bed. Thank you so much for the invite and thanks for putting it on Kat! I think we should try and have a monthly game. Might break up the monotony around here." Billings said and walked off towards one of the buildings where the regular army slept. Soon the night was filled with moans and dirty talk. They were not kidding when they said Bama was loud. It was as if some one put a porno on, and cranked the volume.

"Well I am not sleeping here. Later!" Winger said waking up and walking off with his M-4 in hand.

"He's headed to the motor pool, probably will sleep in a humvee." Parks said looking at Kat. "I know a place where we three can bunk! it'll be a little cramped but better then this!" Parks said getting up. it was clear that he too had no desire to put up with a team mate fucking all night!

"Waddya say up for a little spooning Doyle?" Banks said as he got up, grabbed his weapon. "We promise to behave. But I promise you this, sleep will not be an option with those two going at it and Bama is a freak, can last all night! Has on many occasions which is why we all are looking for a new sleeping bunk! Well the offer is there! We're going though." Banks said. He pulled on an O.D. green top and looked at Kat.

Kat didn't think it's ould really be as bad as they said, then she realized how wrong she was. "Hell" She muttered, watching Winger walk off. At Parks mention of another place she smirked "I don't car3 if we have to sleep like a pile of puppies, I aint sleeping here. She eyed Banks, listening and maybe it was the alcohol or maybe it was just her settling in and her playful streak coming out. "Aw Lt, where's the fun in behaving?" She asked as she grabbed her own weapon and began to follow Banks. Jasper trotted along beside Kat as she let Banks lead the way slightly since she had no clue where they were going. "I really didnt know what I was getting us all into when I told him I didn't care." She chuckled, but she supposed she still woulda said that, she just would ragged on him some more first. "So where is this secret sleeping spot?" She asked curiously looking over at banks.

As they walked to their destination, Banks felt a stir inside him at her flirting. Giving his head a shake he did his best to ignore it. "Not your fault we should have told you about Bama right away!" Parks said with a small chuckle. "By asking you first he'll treat it like a get out of jail card and all. Now we need to keep it down right away!" Kat saw Banks and Parks start to expertly sneak and it seemed they sobered up a lot. Then Kat saw it. Captain Jennifer Barnes place.

"Jennifer is asleep in her bunk there are two spare bunks which are normally used by other females, it's a numbers thing. Till more women are assigned here she has the place to her self! She wakes at 0600 every morning like clock work. we will be out by 0530. that gives us three and half hours of sleep. but we need to keep it down. I know Jasper and you can be quiet so while Parks breaks in you just keep watch with me. We are taking the first room on the left that is the room furthest from Jenn's room. There is two beds and pushed into the corner, no blankets. We can't move them as it might wake Barnes. Ready?" Banks was talking to her like they were on a mission, he was all serious and constantly scanning the road ways.

Kat saw Parks make a hand signal that there was to be no talking from here on. The door moved slowly open and Parks disappeared inside. A second later his head popped out and he nodded.

Banks gave Kat a warm smile one he hadn't given her before. Then jerked his head to the side motion for them to go. Inside the small room which Kat saw in the low light just how lucky she was now to be with the unit. her room was twice the sq footage. there in the corner were like he said two twin beds Parks was already lying down closest to the plywood wall and it looked like he was already out too. Banks motioned for her to get on next and get Jasper situated. Then when she was done he crawled on. They were now looking like a pack of hotdogs. Kat could feel the heat from their muscles. and weather it was on purpose or because just one of these beds was to small for their massive frames she felt his hand rest on her thigh in an almost protective, loving manner.

Soon the two men were dead asleep!

KC

"You guys are nuts." She muttered, unable to believe they were sneaking into Barnes place. But she shut up and did her job helping Banks keep watch. Once inside her and Jasper were as silent as ghosts. She have the dog a signal and he crawled under the bunks to sleep. Then she carefully climbed in next to Parks she had no personal space problems and didnt mind having her shoulder pressed against his. She felt Banks climb on and while she was surprised by his hand on her thigh she didn't move it. In fact she kind of liked the feel of it. Though she reminded her self that what she told Candace was true, she didnt fool around while overseas, she had her gun while on leave.

She settled in and fell asleep, rolling into her side in her sleep, facing Banks, but she didn't cuddle, most nights she liked cuddling but she was half on alert tonight for Barnes so she wasn't as relaxed as normal. She slept pretty well, enjoying the heat from the men on either side of her.

Both men woke at 0530, Banks got off and went to check for Capt Barnes. Parks gave Doyle a playful shove to get her moving, putting a finger to his lips.

Banks gave the all clear and moved out. Once out side of the bunk house the group only made it twenty feet before they heard a stern voice. "What are you three doing?" Turning to see Captain Barnes standing in her P.T. gear.

Kat just had time to see her two team mates take off leaving her behind to talk to the Captain. "Don't even think of moving Doyle!" Barnes said walking towards her.

She could just make out their laughs as they rounded a building. They were actually very fast for two men covered muscle.

"Well why are you by my bunk again? I thought I told you to train him elsewhere!" Jenn said to her. "I also don't want to think what those two are doing here with you. All I know is it can't be good!"

KC

Kat jerked awake at the playful shove and she gave Parks the finger as she signalled Jasper and they all climbed out together. She heard Barnes voice, swore, saw the men take off and swore again. Pivoting on her heel she eyed Barnes. "My Lt told me I could work my dog anywhere I please. You got a problem you take it up with him." She said not feeling nearly as friendly, she was tired and hungover.

"As for my team mates, They're fooling around as a distraction for my dog." She said not blinking an eye at lying to this woman. "Now if you'd excuse me I need to go get cleaned up for breakfast." With that she turned and started bwck, her dog at her heel the whole time. She wasn't in the mood to go two rounds with this woman before she'd had some pain killers and breakfast.

"You are on a short leash Doyle!" Barnes said and started the other way.

When Kat showed up at the bunk house she came upon three men all standing and laughing their ass off. "Doyle I am so sorry, Banks just told me where you had to sleep and how the pricks left you. But I also want to thank ya'll for giving me one wild night!" Bama said almost falling over.

Banks walked up to Kat and turned his back side to her. Parks followed suite. "Go ahead kick our ass's!" He said still laughing. Winger could be seen walking up.

"Fuck you Bama! Fuck you Kat for giving him the ok and fuck Murtaugh too. I just had the worst sleep of my fucking life and I slept in a goddamn sewage pit! Twice!" he said throwing his shirt at the group. "You all owe me big time. The Col found me and gave me a week shit duty! Says I don't respect the space the Army has provided me. I could've ratted you out... But no I saved your ass. And I suppose I could have slept at Barnes place like I am sure you three did! Well All of you can kiss my ass!" Winger ranted, laughing at them. "Doyle you kicking ass well when you are done just line up with them and take yours too!" He said when he saw that the men were in their ass kicking position, that the men used when they were to be playfully punished.

Kat arrived back at the bunks shaking her head head Bama. Then snickering at the rest. Shoving Banks and Parks she smirked. "Go on you idiots." She laughed "I have to change then I want breakfast." She listened to Winger. "Shoulda joined us where we slept. Probably smelt better." She taunted before pushing her way through the group in order to go change into proper clothes. Returning she looked at the team "So what's the plan today fellas?" She asked as she pulled her hair up in a ponytail and adjusted the holster on her hip to sit more comfortably. She was feeling pretty good, despite the injury and the hangover. All her bruises were fading nicely from the attack with her last unit, only a few bruises remained on her upper arms and throat and they were a dull yellow now. Her side looked good and all in all she should be ready to go on Monday.

When she came back out and asked what was on for the day Banks opted to keep them all together for most of the day. "Doyle you rest up after we eat while we do PT then you will join us for CQT. at the range. we'll go over hot room entry with Jasper non-fire, we'll be going over just the motions. Then we eat and we'll finish the day at the range doing night fire exercises! Then it's up to you but I'll be hitting the rack by 2000. I aim to get a good night sleep." Banks ordered. Kat saw that they all got into cargo's and tee's. They all had their M-4's and side arms.

"Sounds good, now lets eat! All that fuck'n has made me hungry! I'll tell you boys she is a little short on the models looks, but she is tops in flexibility and imagination! Didn't know what a rusty trombone was before last night but now I do! haha" Bama joked. Winger and Parks gave him a grimacing look. Banks just shook his head.

"Well that is the last time unless you learn to be fucking quiet!" Banks told him.

"Yes sir Lieutenant Banks Sir. Doyle you ever want to have company over no worries about asking if I mind cause I owe you one! And if you are not into sex just tell me what you need and I'll get it for you! Though that Billings is in love with you. Almost started crying when you turned him down! Don't know why you did, according to Murtaugh he's got a monster and knows how to use it! And not to come off too gay, he is rather good looking!"

"Stop Bama just stop you are always playing match maker and it never works out for any one but you!" Banks said, but Kat knew it was because he didn't like the idea of her starting to date another man. Even though he had no right to be protective or jealous.

"Doyle don't ever let Bama set you up! Last year in Kabul he set up a double date while on leave. Both women were Canadian forces. Mine was not only stronger then me! But also I am pretty sure was a man at one time, where his date looked like Selina Gomez. I was man handled all night and I am sure I would say I was violated horrifically, while fuck stick here was in the next bed plowing this french chick in the ass and laughing at me the whole time!" Parks warned Kat with a smile.

"Enough you guys! It's no wonder we can't keep anyone on the team longer then a week!" Banks said. The men just laughed and changed the subject to sports while they got their breakfast!

KC

KAt nodded at Banks, "Yes Sir, If it's alright with you, I find some shade and hang out while you guys do your PT, enjoy the fact that you guys get to work in the heat and I get to laze around." She teases playfully. THen eyed Bama. "Oh I like sex just fine, though I prefer for my entire unit not know when I'm having it." She grinned, enjoying the playful energy everyone seemed to have. "He isn't really my type, no matter how good he is in bed." But she found Banks's attitude rather interesting. But didn't say a word.

Enjoying the story as they headed to get breakfast she grabbed what she wanted and found a seat. She listened to the men talk sports, she wasn't the hugest sports fan, but she knew enough to have a simple conversation about most varities of sports.

As she had her back and forth with Bama, Banks was relieved to hear that Hollis wasn't her "Type". As she got comfy the men did their routine. After a couple hours of hard work they sat and rested with Kat for a bit before they had a quick bit to eat. Then it was off to the range.

The base had a good range with a kill house and full set up for up to 700 yards sniper training. The Kill house was a two story building with several rooms on each floor. Two of the rooms had an observation window for evaluating the soldiers on their Close Quarter Battle training. When they arrived a tall Sgt was sitting at a desk with a shade over it. "Lt Banks you are scheduled for three hours in the house. As you requested it's been made up as a residence and Dummy ordnance has been hidden in a few of the rooms. This will be an observed exercise today!" The young man said as she wrote names and times down on a clipboard.

"Fuck that it is!" Banks said at once. "We are just now getting the K-9 used to entering a hot zone with us. We have no idea what to expect! There will be no observers till I say so!" He commanded. The young Sgt looked positively terrified by the sight of Banks getting angry. Especially considering they were all carrying loaded M-4's.

"Sir it is not my decision! Col Jamison has been directed to have all your training over seen by a independent military observer."

"Who?" Banks barked.

"A Captain Harold Kline! He arrived two days ago! I think!" The Sgt added.

"Parks, Doyle you two go over commands and some do's and don'ts with Jasper in a confined space. Bama Go get me the Col. Winger on me!" And with that Banks stormed into the house and went to the observation room.

"Hello Lt long time no see! How's your team doing?" A tall striking, diplomatic looking man said.

"Sir!" Banks saluted. "May I speak freely?"

"No I don't think so! not at this time I will how ever speak with you after I evaluate your CQB training." And the captain gestured to the door. and that he wanted Banks out of it.

After walking out he went to Doyle and Parks. "Ok here's the deal. Doyle you lead on all of it. All Jasper has to do is find the bombs. We are going in with out live fire it'll be a walk in the park! I enter first followed by Bama, Parks and then Winger. you enter last and once you are in you do it all while we look like we know what the fuck you two are doing. No matter what, don't look like you are lost, no matter what you make every action look like you did it on purpose and like we've done it a thousand times. We have no idea how Jasper enters so when you see us you move around us like we are in the right spot. We will be where we need to be, with out a K-9 but have no experience with one. So you need to sell your end of it. The sooner we pass the sooner he's gone."

Parks nodded, then added. "Doyle don't lip off to this one. He's a head hunter and loves nothing more then to take down operators. Well you are probably seeing a trend here. We have a lot of bureaucratic enemies here. Kline is just another one to get past!"

Winger was emptying his M-4 while they waited. When the Col arrived he and Banks walked off and had a private word. "When you hear Clear from all of us you enter!" Winger told Doyle. She could tell that his was no ordinary Evaluation. This man commanded a fear she had not seen in the unit.

After talking to the Col Banks came back. "There is nothing he can do. He has orders that all Active spec op units be evaluated on their CQB. Ok Doyle sorry to be putting so much on you but this sell will be up to you." Banks said giving her a pat on the shoulder.

Then they got ready and headed for the house. "Ok boys we've done this a thousand times what's one more for the pencil dicks!" Bama said getting into position behind the LT.

KC

"Fucking Hell, do we ever catch a break?" She muttered as she shifted Jasper's leash from his training collar to his harness. She eyed Parks. "We clear a room going clockwise just so you know. Even though the room will be cleared, I'll still come in gun raised with him in a tactical heel. Then we'll clear the room. The biggest thing is staying out of his way and not touching him. He knows he's not in here to bite but if he's touched while searching he tends to react instinctively." She said giving them the information in case it help. She readied her weapons and prepared. She nodded at Banks. "We've done this a thousand times, we haven't failed yet." She fell into step last, unclipping her K9's leash and clipping it around her waist. She ordered Jasper for a tactical heel which had the dog walking between her legs, she knew right where he was so in a real fire right, he couldn't be hit with friendly fire.

Raising her M4 she waited while they cleared the room. When the All Clear came. She entered dog's tail wagging, eager to work. "Left." Together the dog and handler turned, lowering her weapon she gave him the cue to search for explosives. The dog leaped forward, searching fast but methodical leaving no doubt he missed no spots. The dog froze, sitting, nose pointed straight at at the wall and she frowned. There was nothing in front of the dog, no one ever hid bombs in the wall during training. But she figured the head Hunter tried to play dirty. She trusted her dog so she called it out. "Lt! Got a bomb here,in the wall." She looked at Banks before looking back. "Yes!" she rewarded the dog for the alert and they played tug for a moment before the dog returned to her side in a heel as she looked at her LT. Usually in training the bomb was up high or under a bed, in a box, normally they dont to through the trouble of taking apart a wall in order to put a bomb in and then patch it back up. Just to repeat to get it out again.

The room was cleared with precision. When Kat told Banks where the bomb was he gave her a quizzical look. She nodded and with quick hand gestures he had Winger checking the wall out. "New panel's been boarded up LT!" Winger said in a quick inspection.

"Asshole!" Banks muttered under his breath. This was nothing more then a dirty attempt to pull one over on them! "Good job Sgt. Doyle, Bama, Parks outside!" He ordered and then the two men located the bomb behind a fresh drywall repair. Banks turned to the mirrored glass. "Exercise is over we passed!" He said with more then just a little disgust in his tone. The Capt came out and walked up to Kat! "Cpl were you told about the relocation of the ordinance?" Klein was furious he was sure that they would have failed. "There was less then one millionth of a particle of trace in that box. Your dog should not have been able to smell it! No dog could! You were not to find it!" The capt yelled. Then in a fit of rage he raised his hand to her.

In a awful tumble Kat was knocked to the side as were Parks and Bama as Banks charged through the group and tackled the Captain.

"You fucking dare threaten my team! You fucking set us up to fail!" He swore at the tall man.

Instinctively Bama grabbed his Lt. "Doyle keep a fucking hold of Jasper! Do not let him fucking loose!" Winger yelled at Kat. They did not want Jasper tearing anyone apart.

This was all happening so fast. Kat saw a rage in Banks eyes and knew now with out any doubt that he would kill for her and die for her, not only as a fellow operator but that he truly cared for her with emotions you didn't have for fellow soldiers!
It took Winger and Bama both working together to pull Banks off the Captain. An aide for the Captain threw a punch at Winger missing wide and connecting with Kat's Jaw.

"You mother fucker!" Parks yelled and grabbed the 18 year old and threw him clear accross the room like he was a rag doll. His foot landing mere inches from Jasper maw. Soon everyone could hear the Sgt outside was calling for help. The young aid kicked out viciously at Jasper.

"Big fucking mistake asshole!" He heard Parks say mere seconds before his life turned into a nightmare!

Kat grinned when Winger called out. It was a hard find, with the smells of the new wall and such it would've been easy forJazz to miss it. She headed outside after clipping Jasper's leash to him. Klein stormed up. "No sir. I did not know where it was." She said her voice almost a growl. When he said just how little explosives residue there was pride bloomed in her over her dog. "Sir, my dog is unlike any others." It wasn't just ego saying that, Jasper was one of a kind. Her eyes were wide when he raised his hand. Ducking she snapped at Jasper to stay.

Then all Hell broke loose as Banks and Klein went at it. She had Jasper in a stay as she was helping try to break it up. She didn't see the aid throw a punch, suddenly she was seeing stars. Cursing harshly she lost track of what was happening until she heard pained cries. Jasper had a hold of the aid's leg. Kat managed to get to her feet, blood dripping from the new cut to her lip.

Suddenly soldiers were everywhere trying to break up the fight. Scrambling she made it to her K9 first and ordered him to release. She was thankful that all these training buildings had cameras to record training scenarios. It would work for them now too, to prove that they hadn't started this fight. Putting Jasper in a stay she waded in to help get her unit out of the fight, mostly Banks, who's behavior Kat found most curious.

When the dust finally settled Kat was asked to get the K-9 outside, she followed by all the men in the unit but Banks who was walked off with the MP's. Klein was looking very worse for wear. Though the fight actually only lasted thirty seconds. Banks managed to do a lot of damage to him

Col Jamison was looking fit to be tied. "Bama talk!" He yelled at the tough Staff Sgt.

"Sir our exercise was to be for getting Jasper used to entering hot zones with us. Then the Captain decided to throw us a loop and we still managed to pass because Kat and Jasper are the best at their job. After that The Captain who not only moved the bomb into a wall, but swapped it out for a bomb that had next to no trace on it only so Jasper would miss it. I am sure he would have used one with no trace except that would have got him into trouble!" Bama explained to the group. "After we passed The Capt threatened our team mate, and was going to use violence against her. The LT did what any of us were about to, he acted to defend his team. Jasper was being controlled perfectly and Sgt Winger and I were doing fine pulling them apart till This dip shit private threw a punch hitting Cpl Doyle, then Cpl Parks acted, and the Private's last act was to Kick our K-9 in the head! Well sir you will see it all on the film. Cpl Doyle not only didn't throw a single punch but she kept control of Jasper the whole time, even pulled him off the Private after he attacked both of them!" When he was done the Col looked at Kat and then Jasper who looked like a dog from a horror movie. He went into the room.

they all stayed standing in the heat while the Col was inside no one said anything. After half an hour, he returned. "Captain I will speak with you later go to my office and wait." he said and immediately Klein left. "Bama, Winger you can go!" The Col Dismissed the two men. "Parks you will go with the MP's, I'll deal with you later. Doyle with me!" He said and began walking back to the the base from the rage. Bama and Winger stuck around looking at Kat for a second before leaving. The two last MP's took Parks into custody.

"Explain!" Col Jamison said to her. "Banks has always been protective of his team but this is beyond that! Are you two involved? Also How did Jasper know it was there! I had no idea the Capt would pull this shit and he will be sorry he fucked with you guys! But he wasn't lying no dog should have been able to detect that bomb! So Tell me what happened in there from your point of view."
They stopped in the shade of a building. "Sgt get this K-9 water!" He yelled at the duty Sgt. "It's two hot out here and we might be awhile!" He said with an understanding look! "It's been a shitty week for you hasn't it?" He asked, it seemed he didn't want to start till Jasper had water.

Kat took Jsper outside, using the shade of the building to let the dog get out of the sun, she checked him over carefully, blood dripped from his mouth and covered his neck, but it was clear that none of it was his. All his teeth were fine, and she inspected his head, carefully she watched his eyes. His eyes would tell her if anything hurt, the dog was far too tough to ever yelp. As she pressed on his right cheek she saw a flicker. "Ah, so his kick did connect," She murmured, feeling carefully, nothing was broken but she would bet there'd be some swelling. "Well you gave as good as you got, didn't ya, bud?" She murmured, her tongue flicking at the cut on her lip, tasting blood. She leaned against the wall with her unit as they waited for the Col. to return. When he did, the rest of her unit was dismissed, she nodded at Bama and Winger, before they left.

She was a bit surprised when he asked if her and Banks were seeing each other. "No Sir." She said firmly. "I agree, that reaction was extreme, but I chalk it up to they've never had a woman on the team before. And no matter what anyone says, it's not the same, having the woman on the team, women are different than men. Many men get protective of a female on the team, especially in this case. These are highly trained soldiers, they do whatever they need to protect each other. And I'm apart of that now. They saw a superior officer about to strike me, he would've if I hadn't ducked. Fact is, he's lucky Banks got to him and I was able to call off my dog." She said honestly. She was grateful when the Col. asked someone to get water for Jasper. Chuckling she shrugged. "Yeah, it's been a hell of a week, but nothing we can't handle." She said, thanking the man when he returned with a bowl of water. She cued the dog to drink before speaking.

"And As for the bomb, I don't know." She sighed. Starting from the beginning. "It was just a usual practice. As is SOP, I didn't know the location of the explosive, I didn't know how many, or if there was even one in there. This is to prevent me from giving any subconscious signals to my dog to tell him where it is." She explained, in case he didn't know much about K9 training. "We enter the room last, in a tactical heel. He's heeling between my legs while my gun is raised. Once I am also confident it's clear I send him forward to search. We search a room clockwise." She continued. "He stopped at the south wall, froze and sat, nose pointed at the wall. This is how he alerts that he's found a bomb. I was a surprised, as it's not standard to put it in the wall, during training. But I trust my dog. Never since we've began deploying has he ever given a false alert. So I rewarded and told my LT." She said easily, telling It exactly as she remembered. "The Kennel Master at Lackland said Jasper is one of the best he's ever seen. That's the only explanation I have for the why he could detect that bomb. He knows his job and he's methodical about it. He's never missed a article, during a training session, never false alerted. He's always been spot on. " She didn't have a reason why her dog could smell that, other than he was excellent at his job.

The Col listened, with understanding in his face. After she was done he looked at both of them for a long while! "Do you like it on this team?" He asked pointedly. "I know it can be hard for a woman to make it out here. There are problems with fraternization coming out of the wood work! I understand! I really do we are a million miles from home putting our lives on the line, for people who wouldn't cross the street to help you out! So I get it, I hate it but I do get it! I like Banks, he's the best operator I've ever seen! Saved more men then I can count and he's good for moral! People sleep better knowing he and the unit are out there. But he's got a temper and... Well I say this as a friend now and not as his Col. But he's been alone most his life, never had that special person, I fear he sees that in you!" Jamison explained. "I need to let you know that if I find out you two are involved I will transfer you to a unit states side, and I will do it in a heart beat! Till then I will let you stay on!"

Bama and Winger went to the MP's and asked to see Banks and Parks. "Damn son what you thinking hitting a Capt?" Bama asked talking to Banks through the bars of a holding cell.

"I don't know! I saw him throw the punch and I just lost it!" Banks said looking at the blood on his knuckles. "She catching shit for it all?"

"Naw Jamison knows what the score is! I think he'll give her a few days shit work with me that'll be it!" Winger said. "As for you... Well you will be in here till the Col can get us a deploy. Then he can demand that you be sent on it!"

"I think we should keep low for a few weeks boys! Doyle's been with us what two weeks! Not even, and she has more enemies then Hitler did in '41." Parks added.

"Hey genius we just were laying low, and trouble still found us!" Banks added. They all had a laugh. "Bama keep Doyle close to you." Banks told him and then sat back down.

"You got it LT! See you tomorrow." Bama said and he and Winger left and went back to Doyle.

Kat looks at him "Sir,this is the best team I've been on." She listened as he talked about Banks. And she heard the out he gave them. If he found out. Which basically meant that if they every slept together they'd have to be very careful about it. Not that she exactly planned on sleeping with her Lt. She may have feelings for him and she'd bet he had them too. But it could royally screw up their careers and the team's ability to function.

Once she finished with the Col. She headed back to the baracks to get Jasper cleaned up and to clean herself up. Her mind kept on Banks, why he had reacted so strongly, if the Col. Was right and Banks did have serious feelings for her. And what that would mean if he did. Her mind was spinning as she stood in the bathroom wiping the dried blood off her jaw and lip which was already swollen and bruising a dark purple color.
