Comments That Make Your Day

personally I keep all comments, I refuse to have any deleted at all (this was the first, so maybe it was a really harsh one that somehow made it through that tripped up the mods not long after being published?

I mean I still have one on my first story "Brandi we have to talk" where it's pretty much saying this is AI slop XD

Makes no sense. Comments have to be seen and approved by the moderator, who can (presumably) choose not to post them. The original submitter can't change their mind and revoke their submission. It can only be deleted by the moderator, or by the author who is now being informed there's something there. (Wouldn't be Literotica if it made sense.)
But now I'm really curious to know what it said - particularly since it seems it had to be the moderators who deleted it. I know I didn't delete anything because I haven't found the ability to do that yet . I didn't know the submitter couldn't delete their own comments.

I've been surprised by teh positive reaction to my recent story Simple Pleasures, especially given it's a fade to black romance that I wrote for another site.

And I got a comment earlier today from FrenchTomcat
I love stories with characters who change. Both MCs do and that's great. There is also an interesting political commentary on the state of western society and it's done very well because the characters need time, and the initial prejudices go both ways.

So this definitely goes into my "happy and sweet" to be re-read list, thank you :)

It's nice when a reader gets what you're trying to do.

Also had a deleted comment. I just pawed at the screen and whimpered, so damn curious as to what the person said.
Don't be. Nobody reads all the comments. The only ones the site deletes have spam links. Or by request because a fight has developed. The comments can be deleted by yourself in your control panel.

@SomaSlave made a comment that made my day,
Here it is:
Hostile Takeover
“Definitely not the normal con-noncon story. The setup was nice and the business-like nature of the transaction was at the right level. As a parable of 21st Century end-stage capitalism, it was surprisingly good. I know I'm reading far more into it than you intended, but I was impressed by the restraint and respect you gave the characters. Thank you”

Received a lovely comment on Kyle the Weremoose Gets Lucky:

Dam those red neck hunters, lol. It almost got by me but when Gina asked Kyle "Why the long face?", I about fell out of my chair laughing. JTBC, that joke's so old most youngsters probably haven't heard it. Then when she's going on about him rutting with some strange moose and there might be little "mooselets" running around, I was laughing again. I do wonder if Gina will have those little "mooselets" or regular children? Great story worth five stars just for having the weremoose running around the woods. Thanks.

So far, my first story, Desperate Measures, is doing as well or better than I hoped, over in the LW category. At its heart, it's a cuckold story where the husband proposed the dalliance. In this case, it's wrapped in a breeding story. Neither of those is a popular trope with the incels that hang out there.

Anyway, here is my favorite comment so far. It's from Anonymous.

5 stars!! Nothing hotter than knocking up a married woman. She is going to be hooked on bigger cock for the rest of her life. Hubby is on board with her being a slut. Hopefully she gets breed a couple times. Woman have a deep desire to breed with strong male species. Only thing missing in this story, is she knocked up. Next chapter please!!!

I hope they are watching, because the next chapter was published today.

Not true. The site vetts for spam and links in the first place, not content. If a comment disappears and the author didn't delete it, it's either been reported - and the site has deleted the comment - or (but I don't think this has happened for quite a while) the site has run a hate-speak bot and removed offensive content.
The original submitter can't change their mind and revoke their submission.
I think they can - not 100% sure, but I vaguely recall deleting one of my misguided comments some time ago.
