Since he's anonymous, I have no idea who's doing it. I don't want to block all my anonymous comments just because one creep. Some readers who don't want to show their name, leave some fairly thoughtful comments.

I guess I'll just have to hope he gets tired of dumping on my stuff, and unfortunately moves on to someone else.

I think you're right, though. Someone decided to go through my work and bash everything that's done well, for reasons that escape me.
Guess it takes all kinds. I just hope he finds something else to occupy his time, especially since some of the stories he's read and dumped on, are 30K words or more.

Your hater probably hasn't even read anything he's bashing. People find the strangest use of their time when they're jealous, or envious or whatever... but eh, I guess that's just the double-edged sword that comes with anonymous feedback. Some is spectacular and some not so much...

He's still picking off my higher rated stories. This is 15 in the last couple of days. I can tell it's him because all the women are bitches in every one of his comments.
Looks like he stopped reading 'Three Little Words' and commented that he hated it. Then he decided to go back and (possibly) read it and comment that he hated it again:

I have been deleting this character's comments, which I'll do with these two as well. I just wish there was some way to block him, but since he's anonymous I don't see how I can do that without blocking all the others who comment anonymously.

I'm hoping that eventually he finds something else to do with his time.

He sounds a little deranged, which makes me wonder why he's picked my stuff to vent his spleen.

I leave such comments for a few weeks. By then the person has usually moved on to attack others and you can quietly remove them. As it is now, you’ll just piss him (usually a male with such comments) off even more.

I haven't responded to anything he's said for the same reason. I don't want to engage him, I just want him gone.
It is pretty annoying though, that every few hours there's another nasty comment from the same weird guy.

Anyone else get comments like this that are merely thinly veiled references to consuming other members of your species?

There are stories around that reference eating members. The Blobfish or something like that was one. But hey, Hollywood has us beat with Jaws and other movies. It's a common trope and human fear.

BTW I should mention that vore as the main story is prohibited.

I debated about sharing this one, because it's rather lengthy and mildly spoilerish.

But it's not often one gets a thoughtful, in depth comment that is both praising yet fairly critical.

This was a great tale of redemption and whatever else in between. The imaginative mind at work was so evident as to be on the verge of 'brilliant.' But don't go getting a swelled head over that remark. After all, it's just a Lit story ... a great and well-told one. ;-) 5* The wild scenes toward the end got carried away ... beyond where the story would be nicely finished and just became a bit porny. [No pun intended.] My take on this, besides being a great tale:

1. Consider toning down the wild scenes towards the end to maintain the integrity of the story. While it's great to explore different themes and ideas, it's important to ensure that they don't detract from the overall story. The added sex scenes were a bit over the top.

2. Consider omitting the return of Cozbi at the end and how leaving that out would affect the storyline. IMO it doesn't add much to the story; it was a distraction for me. While it's important to tie up loose ends and provide closure, unnecessary additions can make the story seem cluttered and convoluted.

It waas nice of you to credit Em's inspiration. I see that her bio lists this as her only favorite story - so good for you! That's a nice Cudo for a lit writer.

I don't necessarily agree with his feedback in regards to both the sex (it was intentionally over the top) or the ending.

But he is entitled to his thoughts and he expressed them very kindly.

So I greatly appreciate that.

I received this anonymous comment about the six-part series entitled Rescuing a Snow Angel. It was soul-bearing. Some elements are accurate, reflecting what happened to the person the main character is based upon. The war elements are factual, as is the educational background but like most lit stories, the rest is straight-up fiction. The scores range from 4.5 to 4.78.

"YOUR CREATIVITY IS EXCELLENT ! Setting up a number of possibilities, addressing them, then pulling it all together. This series created a number of questions / introspection which was and is good.

Comments like these bring joy to my efforts to tell stories that entertain.

I enjoy getting a comment like this because a) it's nice to know the reader was pleased and b) I have no personal experience with hot wives. Almost everything I write is made up. It's gratifying because it fortifies my conviction that personal experience should NOT be a limit on what an author writes. The imagination is limitless.
