I know, its not like that guy has a small handful of agenda filled stories all in the same category to prove his literary prowess. The initiative to provide an unexpected review to bloated narcissists is welcome, but it would have carried more weight if the reviewer were a writer themself.
I tried to translate this one, but....I think its straightforwardWhat this reader really meant to say was, that he was thoroughly entertained by my thrilling and scintillating story. He is just too shy to admit it.
How could that not make my day?

I don't know about the person you're going back and forth with, but last year I went fishing in LW with a story with the purpose of proving there are trolls there who ghost here and wait for people to post a story in their swamp. The first commentI'll be honest with you. I don't think NTH's problem with you is that you gave him a 3 star review. I've talked to him A LOT, and I know that reviews and scores don't carry a huge weight with him... even harsh reviews. He can normally take his licks pretty well.
I'm almost positive that he honestly believes that you've been doing these reviews with the goal (subconscious or not) of stirring up drama within the AH.
His assumptions are that you're attempting to troll (a claim I'm unconvinced of) and that you're someone's alt (a claim that I'm also leaning towards believing, although that in itself is no crime)
A few of your reviews have apparently referenced goings on within the forum, which suggests that your account is an alt, although I definitely won't be someone to condemn you for that.
That's said, some of your critiques have come across as a bit snarky... And that can obviously rub people the wrong way. But of course some responses to your criticism has also been snarky, so whatcha gonna do?
Since we are unable to read anything you've written, (apart from reviews) we lack the ability to judge your qualifications as a reviewer. (Of course technically, reviewer only REALLY need the ability to read and write, but the same can be said of authors). But being able to reference your authorial prowess would be helpful in gauging how valuable we find your opinions.
All that said, if you do come forward now with your own stories, they will almost certainly face unfair (even if unintentionally unfair) retaliation.
Ultimately, I have no problem with you or your reviews... Hell, you praised the shit out of E.Pact, so I fuckin love you, so far. I disagree with you on some of your ratings, but who cares? Opinions, are indeed like assholes.
Now!
@NoTalentHack, @Stacnash,
You twofuckkiss and make up, and we can all be friends.
Are you as good as @Jackie.O.Hikaru, @Bramblethorn, @Voboy or @seraph_nocturne? No. You're not on the same planet as them, but they're exceptional. There's no shame in being good when others are great.
The publishing process on this site is a little bit glitchy and conversions from document formats to HTML sometimes break formatting
"..with whom I have no beef" I believe.Should that be "with whom I don't have a beef"?
See, in order to prevent myself from ever getting removed from the Hall of Fame, I beat my critics to the punch by simply not writing stories that well in the first place.I was hoping for some snarky comments, but it seems you resorted to bombing instead. @Stacnash After being very stable for several months, my whole "The Young Mage" series has plunged in a matter of minutes, even though it takes more than an hour for each chapter to be read. You took the whole series out of Hall of Fame with a couple of 1-bombs (or several 2-bombs?) for each chapter.
Doesn't matter though, I am not hung up on ratings and I have mentioned a hundred times what I think about them. Yet the pettiness is truly sad. Have fun with other two series
I've noticed that I often get spaces removed before italicized words. Very frustrating, but what are you gonna do?I've had that happen several times. Paragraph breaks where i didn't put any, dialog split up with an unintended break, etc.
I kept wondering how I missed such an obvious mistake during editing but eventually realized that yeah, sometimes things just get glitchy in the publishing process.
I'm aware that trolling has basically been going on since the forums started.I don't know about the person you're going back and forth with, but last year I went fishing in LW with a story with the purpose of proving there are trolls there who ghost here and wait for people to post a story in their swamp.

The dialogue is superb. The story, while awful in one way is excellent in another. The storytelling is oh, so very good. 5* from me but there's no way in hell I'll ever read it again.
I believe the correct rendering is: "with who I got no beef" - you have to be careful where the subject and the object of the sentence are."..with whom I have no beef" I believe.
Awesome. You can join me in the Dark Musty Storage Closet Down At The End Of The Hall Of Fame.
We can spend our time rifling through dusty old copies of Time Magazine and wallowing in self pity.
The Dark Knight rises?"You think the self-pity is your ally? You merely adopted the self-pity. I was born in it. Molded by it. By the time I learned self esteem I was already a woman, and by then it was nothing to me but underwhelming."

Of course your prolific and seemingly constant attempts to point out other's need for attention certainly belies your own desire for exactly the same thing. Negative attention is still attention after all.@Stacnash is maybe the best thing that could have happened to this forum since my arrival. This platform, which had deteriorated into a support group for high school-rejected kids, pimping each other's stories, is now being revitalized by fresh blood from someone who dedicates a lot of their time to providing what they truly need: attention.
I think I may have a crush on you. Please do not press this button again.
Nah, it honestly just amused me. I'm a big girl, I don't need others to fight my skirmishes for me.someone called Onehitwanda all used my reviews to do the same as Bobby.
never heard of anyone buying a bottle of water in the 70's.
Now that we have that out of our systems, here's one of my favorite comments I got from my story "My Chevy Van":
The bombing continues even today, all of it on the same series - the highest-rated one by far. Can I come up with the term "carpet one-bombing"?I was hoping for some snarky comments, but it seems you resorted to bombing instead. @Stacnash After being very stable for several months, my whole "The Young Mage" series has plunged in a matter of minutes, even though it takes more than an hour for each chapter to be read. i prefer carpet licking, and i prefer licking a nice well-layed laminate floor even more...The bombing continues even today, all of it on the same series - the highest-rated one by far. Can I come up with the term "carpet one-bombing"?
