I like these sorts of views-- I prefer to write women's sexuality as active and aggressive, if only to counteract all the butterflies-and-curtains-in the-wind sex...

Yeah, I kind of like aggressive women - I love it when it get to be like contest of who exactly is fucking who...

Then of course there are also plenty of metaphors for being devoured, Vagina dentata, etc.

Fears of being devoured are pretty basic, and at the same time we crave it on another level: you know, the way children get such a kick out of it when you chase them, and tell them your're going to eat them, pretending to eat the babies toes, etc., it always gets a response.

What movie was it where they milked every possible visual metaphor for sex?

Starts with the old train entering a tunnel, but then goes into an extended montage: I can't remember all of it, but bees sipping nectar from flowers, waves crashing on the beach, etc., it sort of builds and peaks, then I think it ends with a WWII fighter plane crashing or something, lots of crashing metaphors, and then cuts back to them lying bed smoking cigarettes.

Did I actually see that or is it something I made up? It had to be a Woody Allen movie - either than or Mel Brooks.

Monty Python springs immediately to mind. When they cut back to the couple on the bed (eric idle and carol cleveland I think) he is turning off a film projector.

Just been googling and found it on Utube called Romantic Film. Featuring carol cleveland and Terry Jones.
