My life hasn't ever been "perfect." Unless you call constant pain, PTSD, and a host of other things "perfect."

What I did, and what others have done also, is INVEST IN MYSELF rather than throwing all my money at bling and the next shiny object in an effort to impress the equally bankrupt that I'm "rich." Nor did I give in to the temptation to follow the rest of the stupids happily sitting in the park singing together and dreaming of a "better place."

It all starts with deciding not to be an asshole. Something you still haven't figured out all these decades after it was too late.

Not many people can say their life is perfect, but your life in comparison to most seems to have been one nonstop horror show, the way you tell it.

I'm also glad that Literotica is here for you, it allows you some semblance of a "normal" life, albeit an extremely low-class "normal" life. You get chances to stalk women online (in the role play forums), something a wheelchair-bound perv such as yourself would not be able to do in "real life". You can argue belligerently with people here, and have the freedom to invoke vile invectives towards those who have the temerity to disagree with you. We all know you wouldn't have the courage to do this in "real life" as well. In fact, I believe the Political Board gives you a, well, "not-so-positive" place for your pent-up anger and frustration at the shitty life you've had to endure, and an immensely more positive action than what you might end up doing had there been no "Lit Outlet" available for you to vent (abusing/torturing puppies and kittens comes to mind).

It's a proven fact that wheelchair-bound geriatrics have considerably less of a lifespan than ambulatory folks. At some point you've accepted that you're just about at the end of your journey. Hopefully you've made peace with yourself (or will make peace with yourself) before you shuffle (or maybe I should say 'roll') of this mortal coil to whatever hereafter you choose to believe in.

We will, of course, briefly celebrate your demise here, you've earned that much. Hopefully your passing won't go unnoticed (like what happened to Que) or only recognized months after you left (Garbage Can was the all-time leader in posts on Literotica, he was dead four months before anyone realized he was gone).

I know you're a "veteran" and are entitled to a VA headstone courtesy of Uncle Sam. I think perhaps we will pass the hat around here and get you a more important memorial headstone. I've even got one picked out for you already!

We could decorate such a memorial seasonally. Put a grenade in your hand on Memorial Day, a basketball in your hand during the NCAA March Madness, and an afro wig and a guitar in your hand, playing guitar with your teeth to commemorate Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock each year. The possibilities are endless!

Take care of yourself in 2025, because I truly believe there is no one left alive who would want to take care of you (without financial compensation, of course, but you seem to be the type to lack the funds for that sort of care).

BTW, I didn't "demean" anyone or their lifestyle. I merely pointed out that SS is going to be bankrupt in 10 years unless Congress gets it's head out of its collective ass and refunds it (hopefully without putting it on the national credit card). I also pointed out that the AVERAGE SS payment isn't sufficient for most to live on as their sole means of retirement. Finally, I mentioned that a financially sound retirement requires that you invest for it outside of SS.

Pointing out that that's what I did, and am still doing, isn't demeaning anyone. However, if you insist on meeting in the park and singing with friends while dreaming of a better tomorrow, that's on you. Just don't blame your financial failures on anyone except yourself. Certainly don't try to say that I've lived a life of white privilege, because that's yet another LIE out of your mouth.

The real question here is; will Libs ever learn that EVERYTHING THEY BELIEVE is "wrong?"

I absolutely detest Trump. Harris was a poor candidate without enough time to really run a successful routine. But I don't know how anyone can watch that debate and not think Biden is going senile.

The debate pointed out how badly the D's were lying to everyone and that Joe wasn't actually the President in anything except name. "The machine" tried to fix it by throwing Joe under the bus and giving us Kamala without understanding that merely being a D isn't enough. It's actually a handicap when times are tough and Kamala was already underweight for the contest without that on top of it.


Trump gets a lot of bad press. Some of it is deserved, most isn't. That doesn't mean he can't be an effective President. Hate the man if you want to, but understand the reality that the man isn't the same as "Mr. President."

I asked because my 87-year-old Dad had his license yanked for failing the eye test at renewal
And just to "spite those bastards" had long-delayed cataract surgery so he could pass the test again and get relicensed.
He said it's no big deal because he only drives 2 miles to the VA hospital and occasionally 1 mile to the grocery store.

Yes we both still drive, That is an issue that worries my wife and I, WE are very careful but in today's world fender benders happen, We live in a very rural area, nothing is within walking distance

The woman we purchased from back in `1965 had to sell for this very reason. Now our time has come...2 acres 180 ft front on a nice almost deserted lake. Our back yard looks like a lake in the woods in Canada
