I did it once with a 750-word story contest.
A few years earlier I had written a story series called 'Body Swap With Sister's Boyfriend' which proved to be Literotica's answer to the 2001 movie 'Freddy Got Fingered', going by the outrage, hatred and negative comments it attracted. On my DVD of Freddy Got Fingered among the special features there is a 7 minute cut of the film with a voiceover, portraying it as a wholesome, G-rated movie.
So I did a similar thing with Body Swap With Sister's Boyfriend, changing the events to a 750-word story which is wholesome, family-friendly and G-rated. Did the IT fans like the G-rated version of the story? No, they hated it even more than the real story series.
