Could it get worse ?

If she wont give you a straight answer, then why are you asking us?

No one here can tell you what she is thinking. We dont know her personally.

If she wont give you a straight answer, demand one.

When she can't give you a straight answer, she has already answered every question you need to ask.

Run. Do not pass Go. Do not worry about missing out on the $200. Get out of Dodge and enjoy the rest of your life with a mature human being.

Forgetting her THIS soon is going to be impossible. So why try? You had a relationship with this woman. You cared about her. You can't just erase that.

The more I read here, the more it seems you don't want to face the pain you are in. The longer you put it off, the more it will hurt later. Just admit you hurt, my friend. Admit you miss her. Talk to your friends about it, vent and rage and rant here on the board, do whatever it takes. Just don't try to cover it up or ignore it. That does no good, ever.

Take care of YOU...and that means allowing yourself to feel what you need to feel. :rose:

Thanks for the compliment. Like most people posting here and in similar threads, I picked up this charming little bit of wisdom the hard way. Where, oh where, does one find room for all these t-shirts, eh?

:rose: for you this morning, friend.

Good morning to you as well. :rose:

Where do we all find room for those t-shirts? Why, of course.

Walk-in closets, dear. ;)

This seems to me like a good argument against underage drinking. At age 21 one is hopefully more mature and can handle issues like this.

(It ain't necessarily true, but it's a possible argument.)

Maybe this is a good argument for banning underage relationships. :p

For a long time we had some states that you could drink at 18 and some you had to be 21--I remember how pissed my daughter was when we went to Key West and she couldn't even come into any of the clubs, because she was only 18 or 19, but we were living in Louisiana, which at the time was an 18 state, and going to LSU, which was and is surrounded by clubs.

I think it was dirty pool for the government to up the drinking age to 21. Not that I'm necessarily in favor of 18YOS going around getting shitfaced (even though I did it myself) but consider: 18YOS can fight and die for their country, sign contracts, get married, consent to sex, buy Lotto tickets, and if they commit a crime, they can be tried as adults. OTOH, I can't help feeling it's what they get for not getting involved in politics. But it's a rare kid, IMO, that does at that age--at least nowadays.
