There is technology that can help you avoid this, such as Tor. Instead of using the usual path to a website, such as literotica, Tor encrypts your request, and sends it to a Tor relay. This relay sends your request through a number of other relays, eventually ending up at the website you want to see. Details of how it works.
Tor will only protect youif you use it properly. Make sure you understand what you're doing if you use it.
All of that said, you probably want to follow the advice of just about everyone else and just wait until you get home. It's possible that your computer at work has software installed on it, hidden from you, but recording every thing you type. Web pages, emails, IM's, anything.

Well I am at work now, I use my own laptop and a wireless internet connection that I pay for, so I can safely browse pretty much anything I want. I just have to quickly change the screen if someone walks in to my office.
I'm usually quite hard, thankfully my desk covers it all up.

don't do it I work as a tech for a big company and have been involved in cases were people have lost there job, if you are using any part of the company's network they can track you.

That is not true.
Wireless internet is the same as wired in terms of how much information the owner of the network has about your traffic. Wireless adapters have a MAC address, just like wired adapters, and they receive an IP Address just like wired adapters.
Data downloaded using wireless can be linked back to you in the exact same way as wired traffic.

It's trivial to change the MAC address, but what does it matter? They can see the traffic going to your MAC, but how would they ever connect it to you? It's your laptop, so they can't take it and look at what MAC you're using. The only way they could connect it to you is if you log into a company account with the same MAC, but even then it's only circumstantial evidence.

Ha. I wouldn't come near this sight at work. I get nervous about visiting it while I'm at home.
Seriously, grow up and give your employers what they pay you for. When we stop in a port to restock the ship we grab 300 or so people to do the supply line... But it 20 degrees and people are lazy so we end up with about 150 out there, all picking up the slack. Not a good time, stop being a good-for-nothing.

Take a look at your company porn policy, if they say they are against it, you're risking your job.
If surfing for porn is what you want to be able to do while at work, find a company thot doesn't mind or go self employed, but if you go self employed, make sure you don't mind letting yourself off when you catch yourself!

I wouldn't do it if you live in a 'right to work' state. that means they need NO reason to terminate your employment, as long as its not because of race/gender/sexual orientation/normal discrimination type things.
So if they even think you're on drugs, drinking on the job, or doing something fishy on the Internet...buh-bye.

If you're using the company's network and Internet connection to do it, this is probably more stupid that just looking at it using your work computer. If I found a random machine that didn't belong on my network at work and it was browsing dodgy stuff (or if I could see it was proxying or tunnelling out of our network), I'd block it like a shot and then take a walk around the area covered by the access point it was connected to to see who had a machine I didn't recognise. Connecting your own equipment to the company network may violate your terms of use.
Work and porn don't mix, it's not worth the risk.
