Covid shot 2025

This thread is funny mostly because a few of you magats did the right thing and now want a participation trophy or sumfin. 🤷‍♀️
Most libs just go and get whatever they freakin need from their doctor. Flu, covid, minoxidil, whatever.
No need to broadcast to the world if offered a lollipop or not. This ain't voting, ya don't need to take and wear an 'I Voted' sticker.
Being a patriot, or a caring companion in this case, always has to be loud and through a megaphone speaker for all to see. Sheez!

Oh I get it. Boomers in their mid 60s live in nursing homes. Check out who showed up at those No Kings protests. My generation dominated. They even skipped pickle ball that day!

What generation are you part of?
You mean the protests you should have been a part of. Every American wants No Kings. Unless you are MAGA and love slurping the Orange!

That your favorite jello since it reminds you of your hero?

(Took you this long to get the reference- makes sense based on how slow it takes you to get other things)

Pickle ball is for everyone. Likely they played some while protesting.

Younger than you, still have time before diapers and jello time for me. You MAGA folks like your diapers too.

Thanks for sharing the photo reminding us that No Kings was indeed a big day for white, unattached boomer women.

Interesting that you’re too shy to reveal your generation. FWIW, there are great people from all generations. No need to be embarrassed or ashamed. And yes, jello and diapers are likely to be part of my future. Your future too.

Life is short. Here’s some advice from a boomer: Make the best of yours. Hope it’s as blessed as mine.

Oh that wasn’t from No Kings, that was from a “We like an Orange King” celebration during the election season. Cute you thought it was from a No Kings protest.

More jello for you! Clearly you need fluids and maybe some sugar. Ask Ann, she’s not drinking her Brawndo. You can have hers.

I don’t think of a generation for myself, But we know you are ready for jello and a diaper.

BabyBoobs "thinks" that image was from a “No Kings” rally???

🤔 😑 🤣

Newsflash for BabyBoobs:

That image was from a MAGAt rally.

No Kings was a Woodstock reunion for the unattached white women. And you’re too embarrassed to reveal your age group. Lol

He’s often confused. Only the periodic jello helps his doctors keep him grounded in some reality.

Nah, I have enjoyed my age gaps on both sides…

Have you asked to see the jello packets? Are they expired???

I’m only getting it if I can get a non-mRNA one. I’m still flaring from the last one that gave me pericardial effusion.
I’d rather get a flu shot first. I wear an n95 mask, use no wonder/Enovid and avoid crowds.

Ok boomer
Not from Oklahoma, but killer song!

What is with you guys who are wrong all the time? If you can be this wrong about shit that doesn’t matter at all, did you ever think about what you believe on actual issues??

Nope! Just keep drinking the kool-aid. Wait, is the jello made with kool-aid at your place of residence? You should ask. Think they will tell you the truth?

Two days after the shot I got a persistent cough, sore throat and a sinus infection. I haven't been sick all year. Coincidence? :)

Seriously, Ken, if this is gonna be your daily update on whatever aches and pains you feel daily, lemme be the first to say no one gives a fuk. What we are waiting on is the inevitable ‘police respond to smell emanating from… finds cats have partly consumed’ news story.

Saint_Ann Syndrome rears it’s ugly battered head…again…

😑

What happened to Saint_Ann Syndrome happens frequently with vaccines: it’s part of the body’s immune response. It is recommended that people schedule their vaccinations when they have nothing planned for the next day so they can get extra rest and potentially mitigate the vaccine’s side effects:

Search Assist

Yes, it's a good idea to plan a day off after getting a COVID vaccination, as you may experience side effects like fatigue, headache, or soreness at the injection site. Taking a day to rest can help you manage any discomfort and recover more comfortably.

Hope that ^ helps.

COVID is making its way thru the Co. Nursing home. 9 patients & 6 staff. I guess that was what it was engineered for. :)

i have a spare room. i rent it out sporadically. my last roommate was here for two years. he retired last year. his family insisted he be vaccinated when coming to stay with them for the holidays so he gets the vaccine, goes and they all get covid. Has to quarantine for a month. Comes back to the city, begins complaining about chest pains and two weeks later he's having a heart attack and i'm calling an ambulance. Like three months in the hospital. This is one of the reasons I know how fucked up medical care, insurance and government assistance is.

anyhow no...no i don't plan on taking any vaccines in the near or distant future.

My doctor said don't get the new covid shot but the flu etc. shots

Are you getting it? I kinda have to. My partner is immuno-compromised. I probably wouldn't otherwise. Who wants alien nanobots flowing around? :)
Got mine and the flu. Also had to update tetanus. Left shoulder was sore but nothing serious. I’ve had a Covid shot every year. Never have had it but that might be due to blood type. My wife has had it 3x and my kids have both had it at least twice. I slept in the same bed as my wife when she was sick. Just lucky I guess.
