Nope, not your usual menstrual cramps question. I know those are helped by orgasms. My question is this. Everytime I have an orgasm with my lover, no matter what the position, at least one of my legs gets a "charley horse". The cramp varies in location (foot, calf or thigh), duration (usually just a few seconds) and intensity (but never enough to make me even think about skipping the "good part"). The sexual position doesn't seem to make any difference, either.

This situation popped up about a year or so ago. The only change in the sexual routine that I can think of is that I went off the Pill after being on it for years. I had no problems while on it and as far as I can tell, no other problems since. (Except for the leg cramping which may just be a coincidence). By the way, I think my legs still cramp during masturbation, but it's been a while, so I can't remember for sure.

Not a really painful or threatening situation, but another petty annoyance of daily life. Any thoughts?

I think muscle cramps happen more when your electrolyte balance is off. Do you take vitamins, or eat a lot of salt?

Potassium deficiency could contribute to that. Do you take a good multi-vitamin everyday or eat bananas or tomatoes?

Diet's not a problem. Yes, I take vitamins and minerals and am well-hydrated. It only happens during sex, not at any other time including vigorous exercise.

When my clit spasms, so does my leg(s). (Perhaps that's one of the less well-known verses of that song... The clit bone's connected to the leg bone...)

It actually was low salt in my case.

No, no clit here, but the principle is the same, coz everyone knows:
The penis bone is connected to someone's clit bone

I have had your problem, I tense my leg muscles when I come if my legs are straight. I think hyperventalating which I sometimes do too doesn't help

my solution is to keep my knees bent, wrap my legs around something or someone, be on top with knees bent, on my knees, whatever as long as they aren't straight.

also leg and calf stretch before and after can help, as can post sex walking ;-)
