I don’t need to visualize an apple. I need to spice it.
People used to whine at me about story problems when I tutored then in math.
Thing is “story problems” are math applied. They are the reason for math.
I visualize the world in applied math. Division, variables, algebra.
You say, if a train is moving west at 45 mph....
I say, tell me how fast the other train is going and which direction, and please tell me slowly.
Is this a 'beautiful minds' type of visualization?
Now I'm going to have train nightmares.
