"Blood Pressure?"

"Normal."

"Heart rate?"

"Slightly faster."

"Good... I think we're done here, patch up his arm and let him rest."

"Yes docter."

The pulled off his gloves and walked out of the room sighing with relife. "12 hours of instaling and recovery surgery... What ever happened to that boy before he was frozen was not delt with. I had to take out tat bullet myself."

The worn out docter looked back at the now resting patient. "Its up to him to recover now..."

Oh the curse of every Officer of Precinct 12, paperwork. The pile awaiting Calidas, was no exception and could easily be called a mountain. Shaking his and muttering a few choice curses under his breath the lanky newcomer sits down cautiously, a bit concerned that the mountain may tip and bury him alive.

So this is what happens when you find yourself on the wrong side of the desk Sarge, he thinks to himself. What a mess. Brushing a long strand of ink black hair from his eyes, he immerses himself in the task at hand; abscent mindedly scratching the spot at the base of his neck where the mad scientists had placed the implant.

Who would have thought a simple bar brawl would create this much busy work. Sighing heavily he leans back in his chair, suppressing a sudden urge to howl.

"I wonder what the next assignment will be." He ponders aloud, hoping it would be something more exciting, he could already feel the blood lust rising.

Mabel's eyes flew open as she woke in the morning light. She groaned as she turned over, wishing that the day didn't begin yet. Slowly, she uncovered herself, standing up and stretching her naked body. She massaged her neck as she left her room and headed to the shower. Stepping inside, she told it to turn on, water on 78 degrees F, then stood in the torrent, slowly massaging the muscles in her arms and neck. It had been a rough night at work last night, and she was definitely feeling it today.

Two guys had decided to get in a fight over something, and she was contemplating breaking up the fight after a moment or two, when one of the guys flashed an illegal cybernetic arm. That definitely got her interested in breaking up the fight, because she didn't feel like having her bar blown to pieces by some illegal freakshow. So, walking over to the two brawlers, she tried to calmly separate them but only got a heavy punch to her neck, sending her reeling and stunned to the floor. Black dots crossed her vision as she coughed up a small amount of blood and was picked up by her bouncer, an enormous man named Savas. Patting him on the chest she told him to stay out of it, then walked back to the two men. Instead of trying to talk to them this time, she simply stepped over the overturned tables and broken glass, and placed her hands on both of the men's chests.

Both froze in their places as a small, but substantial, amount of electricity ran through both of their bodies. They both looked down at the small woman standing next to them, holding their massive sizes in place with two small and delicate hands. They immediately calmed down and apologized, and were promptly put to work cleaning up the mess they had made. After the two had finished, Mabel had gone home and stripped, then fell into bed and immediately fallen asleep.

As soon as the water started to cool down and a timer beeped somewhere in the infernal contraption, Mabel told the shower to set to dry and was blown dry by gusts of air. Stepping outside, she opened her wardrobe and picked out one of her favorite outfits, a light blue dress that clung tightly to her upper area, but then flowed out comfortably as it went farther down her legs.

Brushing her hair out in her mirror, she tied her hair into a bun and then walked outside into the bustling city that she called home.

Black.... Black was all he saw for the first few moments. Then red, blue, green, yellow, all were starting to form into shapes and sizes. "Ug... Wh- where am I?"

"2'nd Edo hospitable," said an soft, kind voice. slowly Tobias sat up so he could see who was talking to him. He met dark green eyes that strangely enough matched the persons long, light-red hair.

"Who...."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't properly intro duced my self. My name is Sylvia. Sylvia Lanaheart."

"What happened..." Tobias muttered to himself in confusion. He couldn't figure out how he arrived in the recovery room. "I remember, being in the floating feilds, and...." Tobias slowly closed his eyes and let his mind go at ease. Withen the darkness of his mind, he saw a man wearing a police officer outfit, holding an gun, that was pointed directly torwards him. "He shot me... The pig shot me..."

As Mabel stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for the bottom floor, she thought to herself that "it was amazing that these things are still around. You'd think that after the amount of time that's passed that they'd improve on the design or somethin."

She smiled to herself as the door opened and stepped outside into the dark and damp underways of the abandoned lower levels of the city. A long time ago, this area was heavily populated, just like the area that now stood above it. But as the city grew higher, so did the population, and eventually only a few people remained on the lower levels. Now, mostly thieves, bums, and outcasts hung around on the lower level, but Mabel had found a special place, and had opened her bar on top of that place. Now, the Seventh Heaven rested on the land that had once belonged to a brilliant scientist.

Despite its location, the Seventh Heaven had attracted some of the most prominent people in the city. It seems that the excitement of adventuring into the depths of this abandoned city made many quite interested in her bar.

Mabel smiled to herself once again as she continued walking along the darkened pathways, wondering what kind of day this one would be like.

"Pig?"

"That damn cop shot me!"

"Oh...." Sylvia lowered her eyes and sighed. 'Maybe I shouldn't tell him...' She thought, then looked up again. "Anyways, I just came to see if you were alright."

Tobias' eyes suddenly shifted torwards Sylvia. "How... Do you know me?"

Sylvia sat silent for a second, confused. "How do you... OH! I'm sorry, I should have explained! You see, you were Animation Frozen. And they awakened you a few days ago. I was giving the job to update you from the time you were frozen. You know, what happened to your freinds, family, etc, etc."

"Oh..."

"So is there any thing that you want to ask me?"

For a second, Tobias was silent, "What date is this?"

"Feb 3299"

"What?!"

The sun peaked through the tattered blinds casting rays of light into the almost pitch black apartment.

“Yet another day in this forsaken city," she grumbled as she rose from the ratty old cot.

Kurome walked over to a large shard of mirror and examined herself as she had always done since the day she woke up on a cold slab in her father’s laboratory. Her eyes narrowed slightly as a ray from the window happened to land on her severely scarred left arm highlighting it as if it were important for her to actually see it. Kurome's gaze followed the scarred flesh which ended just above her elbow revealing a well sculpted mass of colorless artificial muscle which descended down to a slender hand with five bone-like metal digits.

“Today is just another day,” Kurome grumbled softly departing from the mirror tired of her reflection and thoroughly washed in the basin seeing as the showers in the dwelling were perpetually out of order. Exiting the bathroom, She grabbed her only change of clothing, a dark red form fitted Chinese dress, off of the back of the chair where she had left it to dry the night before.

“Damn morons, starting a fight in the bar,” she continued to grouse as she pulled on a solitary black leather glove over her cybernetic hand after having dressed completely.

Kurome’s mismatched eyes glanced around the thread bare room once before she donned her leather duster and left the apartment for the day.
“Today is not going to be the ordinary day.” She finally said reaching the street .

Vee & Tobias

"Vee? Come in Vee!"

Silently, somebody stood on the rooftop, staring down at the city. As if he was waiting for his pray. "Vee here, was is it Maxine?"

"We got an report of an disturbence at the Boom badaboom room again, we just recived orders to check it out."

Vee gave an agrivated sigh. "Why me? Why not the Norms?" (Norms: Officers that haven't been turned into cyborgs)

Maxine sighed through the radio, "Yeah, but its an Class B Nightmare type Cyborg, you better get on it Vee. Oh and go in human form, we don't want another Monster Jack Rabbit freak out, got it?"

Vee gave an small grunt of fustration. "Yeah, yeah! Vee out!" Vee then pressed an button on his watch, and his body began to metamorph into his human shape before the fussion, then he jumped off the rooftop, and onto the ground. "Lets get this over with..." Vee shoved his hands in his pockets, and walked through the dark streets of 2'nd Edo.

***

"Its... Its been 20 years?" Tobias looked at him self in an large window that was beside his bed, and relised that he didn't exactly look like himself anymore. His body was a little larger and longer. He now see his muscles, and he could see clearly without his glasses. And his once short and tame burning orange-red hair was a longer, and much more wild burning-crimson hair.

"Wait... If its been 20 years... then how come I look like I'm 16?"

Sylvia thought for a second, and couldn't think of anything. "I... I don't know..."

"Maybe I can answere that." Both Tobias and Sylvia looked at the dorway, and saw an old white haired man.

"Great, another one..."

Kurome

Not really caring if she blended in or not, Kurome made her way to the higher levels of Edo City. Some divine humorless force pulled her back to the bar where she "witnessed" the brawl

"No matter what, cyborg or human...Males are royally screwed up" Kurome mused to herself as she leaned agianst a light post not far from the bar watching as the cops arrived.

A young man in his early twenties walked up to Kurome with a sly and rather flirtatious smirk on his face. He easily towered above Kurome standing over six feet.

"Well hello there cutie," the guy spoke in an annoyingly overconfident tone.

Kurome paid no attention to the man as she watched the officer sent to investigate move to and fro.

Agitated that she paid no attention to him, he grabbed her by the shoulder rather roughly forcing her to look directly at him.

"That...was a really bad idea," Kurome hissed softly before punching the man in the abdomen with her leather clad cybernetic hand. Having knocked the wind from the man not to mention bruising one of his kidneys. Having disabled the man, she picked his pockets taking all of his cash and anything that would be of value. She then departed not looking back at the crumpled man on the ground, but her ears picking up his murmured curse.

"b..bitch"

Vee

"Vee, is your CPV working?"

"My Cybernetic Partner Visual? Yeah."

"Good, put it on so I can what's happening. I don't want anything bad happening to you... Again."

An sly smile came across his face, "heh..."

"What?!"

"You're starting to sound like my mother... Again."

"Not funny!"

Vee pushed open the door, and instently walked over to the bar. "Yo Amy! Give me tha usauly will ya?"

"Right!" Chirped the usauly cheerful voice.

"Vee!"

"Don't worry Max! I'm suppose to be undercover, as usaul!"

While Vee dranke his beer, he looked around, and finnaly found something pecular, an man on the ground, while a woman walked away from the seen. "Maybe..."

Normally she would avoid the bar but her hand was tingling badly. She figured the usual rummies would not be there so she went in and sat in the back in a dimly lit area.

Amy's smile faltered for a second as she watched Kurome enter the bar and head to her usual table. "Oh she's early today."the bartender mused to herself.

Kurome murmured angerly as she pulled off her leather glove. "Sonofabitch!" she hissed when she saw that she had damaged some of the wiring in her hand. She reached in her pocket pulling out a small repair kit and setting to work on the wire.

After completing the minor repair Kurome scanned the sorroundings of the bar, her eyes falling on someone she has never seen there before but then she has never been in the bar this early.

"Something is telling me I should get the hell out of here NOW" a nagging thought rang loudly in her ears as she watches the unknown man at the bar.

Vee slowly put on his shades. He didn't want this person to notice him, he wanted to mkae sure if this person was the one making the disturbences.

"Found anything Vee?"

"Maybe," Vee muttered, making sure that he wasn't audible. "We'll have to speak through the psy-com for now... I don't my cover blown."

"Right!"

Vee leaned back onto the bar and taken another swing of his beer, until...

"Let go!"

"Come on! Just one liddle kissy wissy?"

"No way you drunk! Let me go!" Amy fought trying to push one of the hardcore drunks away from her. "I said let go!"

"You little bitch!" The now enraged drunk risen his hand, and swung at Amy, but it never made impact. Insted, Vee caught it. "Hey now... Its not gentleman like to hit a lady, now is it?"

"Fuck you!" The man swung his other fist, hitting Vee in the jaw, but not phasing him.

"Okay... Now I'm just a little mad..." Vee taken the man's arm, ad threw him to the ground, then looked at Amy. "You okay."

"Y-yes... Vee look out!"

Just out of the corner of Vee's eye an metalic vine came straight at him, almost taking out his CPV. He quickly moved his head back and glared at him. Now the guy's true form was aparent. "Heh.... Model 12... Black version... Matalic Vine! When did you bust out! Must of been a couple of days!"

"Of course!"

"And you must of been that B class bounty that was just set out! Too bad ya won't too much freedom!"

"Don't get cocky, you haven't seem my modifications yet!" Thats when Vee felt an sharp pain in his back, wich sent him flying.

"Shit... One hell of an modification!"

"Aw Shit!" Kurome both smiled and frowned. Not caring she in public, she drew her kodachi holding it in her left hand. She leapt upon then over the table vacating the dark corner she cloistered herself in.

Kurome cocked her head to the side glancing at the Model 12, her garnet hued eye sparkling with the promise of trouble. "Attacking a man behind his back? That's a low even I won't sink to....not often anyway."

Her lips twist into an almost sadistic smile and her garnet eye flashes brightly again. Kurome charged at Model 12 swinging her blade skillfully cutting a few of his vines, a feat not accomplishable by a mere human.

Now pissed off royally, the Model 12 turns his attention to Kurome and in the blink of an eye lashed out another of his vines literally pinning her to the wall by her right shoulder. "Well Hello there. Maybe You'll gimme a widdle kissy?"

"The Hell I Will" Kurome hissed murderously as she dropped her kodachi and pulled the vine from her shoulder. Now royally pissed that this cyborg not only injured her, but also damaged her coat and dress, She charged at the cyborg launching a barrage of punches at him not really doing much damage but still enough for her satasifaction

Vine only smiled as Kurome punched him blindedly, "Ah! Thats tickles!" But the tickling started to slightly hurt, then they became just down right annoying to him. Withouit warning, he grabed Kurome and the shocked Amys neck, wrist, legs, and waist with the his remaining vines (Which were about 20-22 vines) and pinned them to the wall. "You little bitches... Ya shouldn't of pissed me off!"

Vine then taken two vines, and lifted it to their throats, "This is going to be sweet! I haven't killed in months!"

Before Vine could even pull back, he felt a sharp pain in his back. He turned his head slightly, shaking from the pain, and saw Vee, holding and beam blaster. "Y... you...."

Vee had no expression on his face. He was obviously pissed off, and didn't care if he killed Vine or not. "Souless shitbag...." Without any remorse, Vee fired 3 more times, the second and third going through Vine's armor and some of his vital organ programs, that forced him to let go of Kurome, and Amy.

Mabel walked up to her bar just in time to hear a few scuffling sounds then a heavy thump as something hit another something. Bursting through the door she saw Amy drop to the ground as a large man stumbled backwards from several shots from another man.

"What's going on here!?!" she demanded as she surveyed the scene. Kurome, a regular, stood coughing slightly and looking annoyed about a hole in her jacket and dress, and Vee, another regular, stood with a rather large gun in his hand.

"All right, as official owner of this bar, I'd like to know exactly what's going on, and why one of my customers just got four rather large holes blown through him!"

"Son of a Bitch!" Kurome hissed angerly as she examined the oozing wound. She walked over to Vine and glared murderously at the cyborg. Kurome viciously kicked him in his sides with pointy toed boots.

After venting a little of her agression on the cyborg, she then approached Amy who was still sitting a litte dazed on the ground. "Hey, are you alright?" she asked the bartender helping her to her feet. Despite her lone wolf mentality as well as her cold and dark nature, she wasn't completely heartless.

______

OOC: Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night:kiss:  :cathappy:

Vee didn't look at Mable, nor Kurome or Amy, he just stared at Vine. He knew that he didn't severly damage Vine, just made sure that his M.V Sensors were busted so he couldn't fight with the vines.

Vee sighed and knelt down and grabed Vine's wrist. He put his other hand on the spot right above his ear. "Max.. I'm transporting the 'distubence' to the station... He's knock out so he can't fight back..."

"V... E! Cme... I..n... Vee!"

"Damn it! he did an number on my communications!" Vee stood up and turned to Mable. "Sorry Mable, but I really couldn't help it..." Vee decided not to tell her about Amy's encounter with ol Vine, so that Amy wouldn't have remember about it.

"Listen, I'll tell you later... But right now... I have to take this guy back to the..." WHAM!

Vee didn't even notice that Vine had recovered most of his natural body controls, and shoulder blocked Vee.... Directly into a wall.

Mabel flinched as the man with the holes through him stood up again and thrust Vee into the wall. It was readily apparent that he was now a cyborg and Mabel hated cyborgs that started trouble. Groaning to herself and wondering why her bar always attracted all the trouble she removed the glove from her right hand and moved towards the cyborg.

Placing her left hand, which was still gloved, on the cyborgs shoulder, she said, "Now, Now, calm down and play nicely with the authorities."

She was quickly shrugged off and pushed away as the cyborg continued to beat Vee. Smiling to herself she crouched slightly and breathed out, pulling her right arm back behind her ear.

As the cyborg prepared to punch Vee again, he gave some kind of mechanical scream then fell over as Mabel's fist implanted itself at the base of his spine. When Vee looked back up to Mabel, she was putting her glove back on over a fist that had small bolts of electricity running over it.

Helping Vee stand she asked if she had damaged him in any way with that little punch.

"No, I think I'll be fine...you really didn't need to do that Mabel," said Vee as he held his head.

"Ah, don't worry about it. As long as I'm here, I won't let anything truly bad happen to this bar or it's regulars that don't give me trouble."

Vee stared at Mable. He had never seen Mable take off her gloves. But it was now obvious why. "Thank you Mable..." Vee looked around the bar, half of it (Including the booze... Er... Mainly the booze....) was destoryed. "... Oh boy..."

"Vee! Come in Vee!"

"Huh... Max, is that you?"

"Vee, what happened?!"

"Nothing, just transport this guy to the base, okay!"

"R-rodger."

Vee once again placed his hand on Vine's wrist. But this time he held his gun with his other. "Transporting now..." Vine sudenly disapered. Vee stood up and turned to Mabel with an slightly sad look. "Sorry about the all of the destruction Mabel... The force will pay for it, I'll make sure of it.

"Don't worry too much about it Vee," said Mabel as she patted him on the shoulder and moved over to Amy.

Rubbing the poor girls shoulders to help stop her shivering she looked at Kurome with thanks in her eyes.

Kurome just shrugged and began fingering the hole in her dress.

"I can fix that for you if you'd like," said Mabel as she watched Kurome fiddle with the hole.

"No, it's fine," said Kurome as she headed towards the door.

(ooc:srry all as ive said in other threads ive been out for abit, hope no one minds if i jump right in)
Wearing a long simple black trenchcoat nad hat, looking conspicious outside in plain sight, nevertheless people just stared for a moment and shrugged. After all,bad guys never wander around in the open do they?
It give a soft mechanical sigh and headed towards the bar for a drink
As it stepped up to the door it stopped and sidestepped a bit, just barely moving out of the way and not getting knocked over.Instead the woman leaving only slid past, but had almost certainly felt its right arm graze her ,the white plastic/metal surface brushing agaisnt her shoulder gently.
Giving another sigh it stepped in,seeing the remains of the brawl.
He stepped up to the bar wiht one a glance at the fallen cyborg, sitting carefully on a stool and waiting for someone to serve it..

"Well why the hell am I here?!" It was obvious that Tobias was starting to become very annoyed, wich was not very good for his condition at the moment.

"Easy my boy..." Tobias' eyes narrowed as the old man searched through an small black bag of his. "Lets see... I.D., pens, teddy bear..." As the old man name every thing, he tossed it out of his bag. "Uh... how did that get in there?! Lets see, lets see... Ah! Here it is!" The old man pulled out an pice of paper and looked through it. "Ah... I see..."

"See what?!"

"It says here that when you were frozen, both your arms and your left eye was wounded... Plus you had an bullet inside of you... So you wern't "Completely" frozen. Soo... you slowly aged until the point were we had to take out the bullet, and install the R-chip"

"R-chip? what is the R-chip?"

"The R-chip," Sylvia said standing up, "Is an new design that helps the user control the Raiji-Asassin, or R-A for short. The R-A is an new Cyborg modle that is highly advance. You see, insted of the cybernetic armor, and other parts being obvious, all of the steel has been wraped around your bones."

"Heh?" Tobias' eyes narrowed even more, but this time out of pure confusion.

"Er... Yeah... It, kinda is hard to explain huh? Lets just say that when you call for it, you can change into an cyber ninja of the lightning element.

"Oh... So... I'm an cyborg now?" an large sweat droplet fell from the back of Tobias' head as he looked under the sheets.

"Tobias, what are you doing?"

"Seeing if every thing is still in tact..."

"What? I don't under... OH!"

(OOC: lol Hybird)

Mabel sighed as she looked around the bar and at the table that was now split in two.

"Well, guess I'll have to clean this place up again..." she muttered to herself. Before she began, she noticed a figure dressed in a black overcoat sitting at the bar, patiently waiting. She hadn't even realized him come in at any point.

"Anything I can get for you?" she asked as she stepped behind the bar.

"I'll have a Molotov Flame," said the figure with only a slight metallic tinge to his voice.

"Oh great, another cyborg," thought Mabel as she said "Molotov Flame it is," and began taking the supplies out. "As long as he doesn't mess up my bar any worse than that other one did, I don't mind him being here."

with a rusty chuckle he answered."i only want a drink Miss, and i can't get one if the place is wrecked".He chuckled againa dn stertched out under his cloak oin the stool.

(ooc: My fingers finally have healed enough for me to type without pain:cathappy: )

Her "quiet" morning ruined not to mention her only change of clothen, Kurome proceeded through the streets of the city. The wound in her shoulder had long healed but still there was a gaping hole in the shoulder of her dress and duster.

"Well well if it isn't lil red." Tasha, a local street walker, sneered at Kurome. "And looks like she had a bit of a fight."

"Tasha, it is best you keep your mouth shut for now" she calmly warned the off duty prostitute who continued to bother her.

ticked again, Kurome in a quick move robbed Tasha of all her money causing her to ironically cry for the police.

"$4500? gee Tasha, you've been busy" Kurome smirked, her mood instantly lightening up.

After buying a new outfit almost identical to what she was wearing, Kurome headed back to the bar entering in her usual stealth like manner and to the darkened corner watching the still quiet bar and the strange cyborg in the trenchcoat
