Cybernetic Chaos: Check ooc before joining!

The two figures that now walked down the street sent every manner of life skittering from their presence, their bodies slightly glowing with a light blue silouette. They walked and stood with a confident air that emanated from around them until they arrived at the front of a shop sign that advertised in bright letters:

"The 7th Heaven"

"What?"

"You heard me, you are now officialy in the special operations. Its either this, or a cannon up your ass."

"Well, if my other option is death, then I'll have to acept..."

"Good." Vee smirked, when it came down to it, he was quick and sharp with words, and could probally persued the thoughest with the harsh truth.

"Wait, what exactly do the Special ops do?"

"We hunt down illegal cyborgs. Or destroy them, whatever floats your boat."

"Anything else?"

"Yeah, but they're not as important."

"Oh."

"Now, the first order of buisness is we give a codename."

"Why"

Ve scratched his head. "You know, I never thought about why... I guess its because we don't want our enemys to know our real names. You know, safety precautions." Vee looked at Tobias. "So, what will it be? We can't call you the R-A modle forever."

"I guess I'll go by my old nick name... Zero."

"Zero.... My codename is Zero."

Vee sratched his head. "Zero? Well... Thats certainly... Well its interesting, I'll say that!"

Zero glared at Vee, obviously offended. "Now what smart-ass?"

Vee only smiled. 'So, he does have an temper! And an attitude to follow! This, heh, this should be interesting...' "Now all gotta do is officialy regerster you and get you an navi."

***
(Somewhere around Edo sqaure)

"You got the goods?"

"Yep!"

"Great! Now we can get modifiyed!"

"Oh yeah! Now those bullies will never pick on us again!"

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let go get Borged!"

(In an ally somewhere around 2'nd Edo Sqaure)

"Ah! So you boys got what I wanted eh? Good, good."

"So does that mean we can become cyborgs?"

"Yeah! Can we?!"

"No... Not just yet."

"But what else do we have to do?!"

"Calm down boys. All you have to do is make an promiss."

"A promiss," both children asked in unison.

"Yes... Go and trash an certain spot for me."

"Where?"

"The 7'th Heaven"

"Why there?"

"Because, I have unfinished buisness with an old, 'friend'. And the only way I can get to him, is to get to 'her'..."

Mabel sneezed slightly as she led the two new customers to their booth.

"Bless you," said one of the people.

"Thank you," replied Mabel.

"'Tis of no worry Miss...I was only preventing you from turning into a fairy..."

Mabel gave the man a strange look. His clothing didn't surprise her at all considering what she liked to wear, but the other people were casting the occasional sidelong glance.

One of the two had his hands shoved in his pockets, his natural green hair didn't stick out since many people now a days had died there hair that way. The other had short, deep blue (almost black) hair, and he wore an pair of shades.

One of the two sat silently as the other thanked Mable for her hospitality, then sat down himself.

"Man, these cloaking devices are great, aren't they Yoba?"

The boy with green hair gave the other an sharp and dark look, just before jabbing his fist into the others side. "Quiet! You'll blow our cover Yo!"

Yo jerked away from Yoba's fist. "Ow!"

"Shh! Somebody's comming!"

"There! Done and done!"

"Ah! Thanks alot Macy!" Vee grabed the gloves as he walked away from the counter, stoping only to wave at the woman behind the counter. "See ya later!"

He tossed the gloves up and down in his hands as he aproched his card, and 3700 Crimson and Black Phoenix. It was old, but Vee kept it beyond top condition, and it could even out run some of the newer modles. "Hey Zero! I got something for ya!" Vee tossed the gloves through the open window, so Zero could catch them.

"What are they?" Zero asked, slightly confused of why would Vee toss him ordinary black and orange gloves.

"That, is your new com-link." Vee replied, lifting his left arm, showing Zero his large wrist-band. "That will keep you in touch with your navi, and your partner."

"Uh... Who is my navi?"

"Dunno."

"Well, who is my partner?"

Ve now had an wild, and somewhat evil smile on his face. "Me."

"What can I get you two gentlemen?" asked Mabel as she watched the two lightly glowing men sit at their table.

"Gimme the thickest sludge you got," said the one on the left.

"Something light, doesn't matter if it doesn't even exist," said the other.

"Coming right up," said Mabel as she bowed slightly and turned, heading back to bar.

"Mabel..." said Phillos as she walked by, "I want you to watch those two kids. They've got somethin about em that I don't like, and I don't want you to have any more trouble tonight."

"It's ok, Phillos. Shaoul will be here soon, and those kids don't know that we can tell what they really are. We'll let them play their little game, see if they can hold their alcohol, then find out what they think they're doing. It won't be a problem as long as you and Shaoul are here."

*******************************

The Light and Dark cloaked figures continued to walk down the street, their soft glow continuing to permeate every crack and crevice, not allowing one single thing to escape the torment and pain that freely flowed from their auras.

"You think they noticed?" Yo asked quietly.

"Yeah.... I'm pretty sure she did. Its not an surprized, she was a former S.O. So just be on your gaurd before you strike."

"Right." Yo scratched his head a bit, as he looked around. "Hey, I just thought of something. You think we can take this stuff? I mean, this place IS known for their strong drinks."

Yo just smiled. "It won't be the first time we drank something like this. Doln't worry bout it. Even if these these Sub A suites can't help us tolerate alchohol, I'm pretty sure we already gained an resistance."

"Oookay..."

Mabel deposited the two drinks on the table, smiling slightly as the two boys shifted uncomfortably.

"Enjoy your drinks please gentlemen. If there's anything I can do you, please tell me."

Yoba smiled. "Thank you miss." Yo just nodded and taken his drink, he was too nervous about him blowing their cover.

'Enjoy your drinks please gentlemen. If there's anything I can do you, please tell me.'

"Thank you, we will." Yob sighed in relife as Mable walked away. "Okay... Here's the deal, we're suppose to wait here until I get the call, then, when he gives us the message, we grab her, tie her down, and take her to maggnetic park, got it?"

"Got it..."

"Good. After we do this, Pharos will legalize our suits!"

Mabel hummed softly as she returned to the bar, patting Phillos on the back before lifting up the gate and then closing it behind her.

"You're awfully happy," said Phillos as he looked at her.

"Yea...alot of good stuff is happening to me today, and now those two little boys are gonna play with me!"

"Y- you!?"

"Yeah, Since I'm the only other special ops agent, I have to be your trainer, so to kill two birds with one stone, they decided that I should be your partner, until you learn the ropes."

Zerro scratched his head. "Well... Okay."

Vee smirked. "Gee, that didn't take long."

"What?"

"For you to trust me."

"Trust me, I don't. I don't trust any cop."

"Can't blame me for trying." Vee started his car, and driven off, headed to his favorite place in the world.

"Where are we going?"

"Hmm? Oh to the Seventh Heaven."

"Huh?"

"Its a bar."

Zerro narrowed his eyes. "What?! Are you crazy?! I'm under aged!"

"No you're not! You're older than me!"

"Well... Th-that is true but... They'll never belive us!"

"Bzzzt! Wrong! I know the owner of the bar, if I tell her, she'll understand."

Yo and Yoba

Yo picked up his drink and taken a small sip. His hand fliching under the table.

"What is with you Yo?"

"Whadda ya mean?"

"you're twitching."

Yo sighed and looked Yoba dead in the eyes. "I'm starting to get second thoughts. I mean, I feel bad just thinking about doing this."

"Yeah I know, just don't think about it."

"Well Okay..." Yo replied as he took anoth swing of his drink.

"Hey! Becareful! You'll get wasted like that!" Before Yo could even reply, Yoba heard his cell phone go off. "Oh shit..." Yoba quickly taken it out, and fumbled it open. "H-hello?"

"Change of plans, My main target is comming! I'll call you again to give you your new orders."

"O... Okay. Bye."

Yo leaned over so he could talk to his friend privately. "What did he say?"

"Stay put. Target 1 is comming..."

Mabel leaned against the bar, listening to the traffic outside, high above the level of the city that her bar was on. The soft noises blended well with the gentle music that now played in the background. Mabel's favorite song had finally cycled through the list, and she closed her eyes as she listened to the soft instruments play while a choir sang in a long forgotten language. For the first time, she actually listened to the words, and found she could understand them perfectly, pulling out the words and piecing them together into a multitude of other languages, forming them into the sentences that she knew so well. She heard the soft jingle of the bell on the door as someone brushed past someone else, then smiled slightly when she heard the familiar clump of Savas' boots on the floor as he made his way to the back room, clicking in on the register before he walked back outside, taking up his familiar post to allow people inside.

Yo looked at Mable, who looked at somebody who could be a big threat. "Oh man... Its the body gaurd!"

Yoba snapped his eyes open. He leaned over to Yo's diretion and lokked where he was looking. "What? Are you serious?!"

"I'm pretty sure that is a bouncer, man this bites!"

"Keep calm, we can take him."

While they argued over if they could or couldn't take whoever just came in down, another person stepped through the door to start her shift. Ami sighed and taken off her shades, not looking exactly her chirpy self.

"Wowe wow, wow!"

"Easy there Romeo," Yo muttered, knowing that Yoba could never stay focused whent a cute girl was around. "We got a job ta do remember?"

"You're one to talk Yo..."

Vee and Zero

Vee sped through the highway, dodging every other car like it was nothing. "Do you always drive like this?"

"Nah! I'm just a little eager for you to meet a few freinds of mine. Plus, if that smart-ass is still there, you may just meet the person who saved your ass."

"I thought you were the one who saved me."

"Well, partialy, yeah. But you see, in order to stop you in bezerk mode, my freind had to put on this insane suite that pretty much turned her into a animal." Vee thought about, and almost laughed. But insted he shook his head. "I really shouldn't think that way. Anyways, somebody she knew stoped her from killing you."

"Ah, so you stopped me, but somebody stopped whats her name?"

"Yep, and for your information, 'whats her name' is called Mable."

"Oh. And for your information, you missed the exit."

"OH SHIT!" Vee quickly swerved out of the highway, and onto a small bumpy hill that led to the booze district.

Mabel opened her eyes and turned around as she heard the familiar motor outside the door. Savas peered inside and nodded his head.

Mabel sighed softly and walked outside.

"So, what did I do this time?"

Vee screeched to a sudden hault as he came into the seventh Heaven's small parking lot. "Well, that was a safe lil ride don't ya think?"

Zero clutched to the seats, praying for his dear life. "I... will... never... EVER... Ride with you again!"

Vee just smiled and put the car in park. "Then learn how to drive."

"Yeah, I will."

Both Zero and Vee got out of the car at the same time. Vee yawned and stretched his muscles. "I just hope that nothing interesting happens today..."

"What do you mean 'interesting'?"

"Well, alot of the cyborgs come here and cause trouble. Maybe thats why I like comming here."

"You're nuts."

"Hey, when you've been in the buisnees as long as I have, you start to enjoy this kind of stuff." Vee pressed a button on his key chain, and all the doors shut. As soon as he turned around, he noticed Mable talking to somebody, possibly Savas.

Mabel waved Vee and the boy with him over, patting Savas on his wide arm as she ducked back into her establishment.

Mabel was already back behind the bar when Vee and the kid entered, Phillos down at the far end of the bar, holding the same drink that he'd had all night, grimacing at the thought of finishing it, while his arms strained against the fabric of his brown T-shirt.

Vee walked over to Phillos and tapped him on the shoulder as he said "May I sit here?"

"Your presence and company would be most appreciated."

Vee took this to mean that he could sit down, and did so.

"I'd like to thank you for what you did," said Vee as he looked at the large man sitting next to him. While not that much taller than Vee, he certainly had far more natural muscle packed around his frame, and his face was one of kind tolerance and deep knowledge of things going on.

"It was my duty, as I have been assigned to protect all people since a very young age. Mabel is my special case however."

"Ah, so you're an officer, like myself."

Phillos laughed softly, "Not exactly. I assume this is the boy that was causing such a ruckus around here,"
said Phillos as he turned to the boy. "You look far better without that heavy metal around you. I'm actually kind of surprised you recovered that fast after I put you down. I guess being locked away for a few years doesn't affect your metabolism anymore..."

"How did you..." said the boy before he was cut off.

"I know very many things, my friend. Now, sit and relax. Mabel can make a drink that will knock your socks off."

Both Vee and Zero looked at eachother, obviously confused. But knowing that Phillos was a freind of Mable's, nothing is too strange.

"So Mable, other than the psychic giant over here, anything out of the ordinary?"

Mable nodded her head over at Yo and Yoba, who were still disguise, waiting for the signal. "Well for one, those two. Then there's Ami."

Vee shifted his to the side, "What?"

"She's hasn't been in her perky mood since she got here. Looks like something is really eating at her."

Vee turned his head and looked at Ami, who was sitting down, obviously taking a break. "Uh... Hey Mable? Give me the usaul dragon blood will ya?" Vee then got up and patted Zero on the shoulder before heading for Ami.

Mabel looked up from Ami and Vee when she heard the bell jingle once more.

"Welcome to Seventh Hea..." said Mabel as she moved around the bar but suddenly stopped when she saw who stood in the door.

Two figures stood in the door, one black, the other white. They both wore respective facemasks, and their clothes glowed a slight blue. Savas stood behind them both and looked at Mabel with a quizzical look on his face.

"It's ok Savas. You can let them in."

Savas shrugged and moved back to his post at the door.

Mabel showed the two to a booth and leaned over the table as they both sat down.

"And what does the Union want with me? I haven't had any run-ins with you for the past eight years, and I only ran into you guys twice back on Shakim Dhurad. Why are you here?"

"Certain...officials...have asked us to investigate this area. It seems there is...activity...on the cyborg scale. There are...reports...that this is a hotspot. There are also...reports...that suggest you hold in refuge a certain...person...that we would like to find," said the figure in white as they clasped their hands beneath their cloak.

"While I won't deny that this spot is rather full of cyborgs, I don't know who you're looking for," said Mabel as she stood up straight and placed her hand on her hips.

"He is...a well-built...man...with many scars across his back," said the figure in black, "He normally has...copper...skin."

Mabel's eyes narrowed as she looked to the black figure and said, "Only thing with copper skin that I've seen around her recently was the trash collector. And I didn't manage to pull his shirt off before he left."

"Your...sarcasm...is not appreciated Miss Mabel."

"Yea well, I don't appreciate the Union coming into my establishment and disturbing the business."

"You...know...what lurks beneath these masks...Mabel...you have seen our forms...and you know...that we must wear these...so that we can move about...this world," growled the figure in black. "Our....very existance...lies at stake...and it seems...you do not wish our....existance...to continue..."

"I have never wished ill will upon anyone, and no matter how dark they are, I still refuse to do so," said Mabel as she felt the tips of the two agents claws gently pressing into her leg and stomach. Softly placing her hand on the table, small pieces of electricity snaked their way across her fingers and the back of her hand, diffusing the instant they touched the table.

"Now...I am highly trained in my Arts, and I know you are as well...however, I don't want to scare off my customers, and I know you guys are barely keeping the force under your thumbs anyway, so you can't have any difficulties with them. As a matter of fact, one officer is sitting at the bar as we speak," said Mabel as she pointed her thumb in Vee's direction.

Vee walked over to the table where Ami was sitting, she quickly noticed Vee and smiled. "Hey Vee!"

Vee stopped and looked at her, the rabbit instantly noticed that something was up. "Okay, whats wrong?"

Ami had a slightly surprized look on her face. "Wh-whaqt do you mean? Nothing's wrong."

"You know, its pretty easy to see that you're lying."

"How?"

"My ears can pick up almost every tone, and I'm hearing a slightly agrivated tone, even if its small."

"... Crud..."

Vee scratched the back of his purple hair before sitting down on the chair near Ami. "So what up?"

Ami leaned back on her chair. "Ah, its just my boyfreind. Uh, ex-boyfreind."

Vee sneered, he knew Ami's boyfreind all too well. To Vee, he was nothing more than some punk kid from the rich district. Vee never did like him, he always looked like he didn't even care about Ami. "Now what did he do?"

"He got arrested again, this time picking a fight with one of the Rodor Brothers."

Vee's eyes widened, the Rodor brothers were a dangerous duo, espscialy when both were legal Cyborgs due to a acident that the police force admitedly apologised. Even though the Rodor's were know to be gang leaders, they never jumped anybodie without a reason, and both respected Vee. "What? Is he crazy? Why the Rodors?"

"Because they're Cyborgs, he claims that all Cyborgs should be put 'offline'."

"An activist... Of all the..."

Ami laughed softly, "don't worry, the Rodors taught him a lesson. But I just couldn't take it any more, so I broke up with him."

"Well, thats good..."

"So what are you doing here? And why did you bring that kid with you? You know its illeagal to bring kids to bars, right?"

"Hey! Whoa, that kid is older than he looks. He's my trainie."

"Your what?" Ami looked at Zero, then back at Vee. 'Him? He doesn't look all that much like a Sp ya know."

Vee turned his head away from Ami. "You wern't saying that when he had you by the troat earlier..."

"Wait, what?! You mean, that he..." Vee tried his best not to laugh. But as he had his turned away, he noticed two cloaked men talking to Mable. 'Are they... But... I thought Mable was just joking about them?'

Mabel looked at the two cloaked figures that sat before her, the electricity still surging through her hand. She felt the claws slowly being retracted from her stomach and thigh, with muted hisses from behind the two facemasks.

Squinting slightly, Mabel saw through the grates of one of the facemasks, seeing two rows of vicious fangs through the small holes. Saliva dripped from the sharp points, showing the disappointment of being denied a kill.
