I voted probably them, as the closest approximation. I guess where I stand is this: 'I will just occasionally argue in order to discover whether I am right or wrong'. Is that arguing? or merely debating? When I do it, there is enough passion in the exchange for it to feel and sound like argument; even like ARGUMENT!

That. I do that too.

I feel I have been right every time, if I didn't feel I was right I wouldn't care enough to argue.

I am a feisty one. I love to argue. I love to be challenged, and I love to be acknowledged that I’m right. A good argument gets me extremely excited. It gets the blood going. Every outcome of an argument is a win for me,
If I lose the argument, I learned something. If I win an argument, I am reaping the rewards and doing my happy dance.
My takeaway here is there’s nothing wrong with arguing. As long as harsh words aren't used and the argument is justified with intelligence. If someone bests you, learn from it. Anyone want to argue with me about this?

I don't argue, I know when I am right and man enough to know when I am wrong. I will challenge people to make sure they can support their position on a topic, even if I have to play devils advocate.

Funny how we often base human intelligence on if someone agrees with us or not.
