It was a balmy 82 here today...sunshine and a few clouds...a lovely ocean breeze...the beach was full of snowbirds, but I have a private (and secret) spot...I almost got a little burn, but it just deepened my tan.

Okay, so maybe the snow and cold ain't so bad.

Living where I do in New Jersey, as far as natural disasters are concerned, this is the greatest place on Earth. Not too hot in the summer, not too cold in the winter, it doesn't snow all that much, hurricane winds aren't that bad when they get dulled down by the hills, no quakes (occasional tremors, but nothing more than a small one at that), mud slides are small and localized to a football field at most, tornadoes are few and far between, tidal waves can't reach us, if the south pole melts the water line will only come halfway up to us.

Yes, I have put a lot of thought into why this is the greatest place in the world to live

Actually it's my back-up fridge in the utility room...just for my beer.

I don't use the freezer much...except for popsicles.
