Daydream_weaver's Refuge

Oooohh! Cookies!! *claps my hands then gives a mock whisper* ...I think the laundry gnome got Miss Luna, Raven...

eww...nasty things... *grins and shakes my head*

I have a friend who insists that when we are old we are going to be room mates and wear big floppy hats and create our different brands of art and...on...and on...I'd rather not.

Heh. I'd rather have Koda Kumi for a roommate. Too bad I'm likely to never even meet her *sighs*

If I can't have my chosen as my room mate then I would rather be the eccentric old lady who lives alone and is a bit spooky. And my grandchildren, should I have any, will love to come visit because I'm the fun one. *nods at that plan*

*chuckles* I finished it...I read quickly. You like to the point and a bit wild?

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I prefer something entirely different. Like with the head cheerleader thread. I wanted it to be a long, drawn out thing where Sasha slowly becomes obsessed with the geek and the monster between his legs.

*The day has been long but fairly good...the small cabin in the woods welcomes me as I return. The door swings open as I step onto the porch, candles flicker to life inside and strains of soft music begin to float on the night air. I leave the trappings of the outer world behind, shed like the clothing I leave in the bathing room hamper. I stand before the full mirror in the alcove, a recent addition, and watch myself as I gather my long, silvery hair and weave it into a thick plait that will hang down the middle of my back. With my hair pulled back my features are exposed more fully. The high cheekbones, the full lips, finely arched brows oddly dark compared to the color of my hair, the small, slightly pointed ears.

"I am not sure what you are, but I will find out."

It wasn't the first time it had been said. I smile slightly thinking it wouldn't be the last, but though some had made guesses none had found the answer. Just as well, I am what I am and I keep my own counsel.

I drop a hand to my collar bone, trail it along to the hollow of my throat feeling my pulse beat strong and steady. It can race...it can speed frantically...it can call others to it. A small smile as my hands brush softly over the swell of my breasts, pale flesh topped with darker points. Inviting, enticing flesh. Flesh meant for soft caresses...the scratching of nails...the imprint of teeth...the marks of possession however fleeting.

Lower my hands travel. Over the softness of my belly that begs for hands to splay across it, invites a touch to slide lower along the curve of my waist to the swell of my hips. Hips that move as I dance, that roll to an inner beat...hips that demand to be held, to be gripped and guided. I stop my exploration, hands splayed across my lower belly as my eyes slide along my thighs, down my legs...legs that will carry me through the woods, legs that will run from any hunter that comes in search of prey.

My breath catches. My mind races. The lure of the hunt is strong...almost too strong to resist for much longer.

I turn suddenly from the mirror, but not before noticing the hint of a violet tinge in my icy gaze. My hands reach for my favorite robe. Soft, sheer silk the color of a misty morning. Sleeveless with a long flowing skirt that flows around my legs when I walk, the whole secured by only a single button between my breasts.

Padding out to the kitchen area I pour myself a rare glass of wine and carry it out onto the back deck, curling up on a lounge chair to simply enjoy the night*

Burgers? Yummy... *leads the way out onto the deck where it's sunny and perfect for fast food consumption*...do these meals come with fries?

I got curly fries *follows along* Would have gotten Chili Cheese fries, but...

I love curly fries...Jack in the Box have great curly fries. And sinful milkshakes.

So what is on your agenda for the day? I have got to get my post done for the thread Luna and I are in together. I think I am actually worried about it though...writing a character opposite her makes me nervous for some reason. Even though I think it will be great fun.

Heh. For me, unless someone posts, it'll be total boredom. May end up walking into Dubuque to deposit the 2.50 or so in change I have, then pick up PSU from my little brother.

If I remember correctly, that's quite a walk for you?

*happily noms curly fries*

Well, the bridge alone is about a mile. It's probably about that from here to the bridge, at least. So yeah, quite a walk, though I'm more worried about the weather. My main reason for considering it is because my niece is shrieking and jumping in the bed. The only thing that gets through to her is being squirted in the face with a water bottle, but I'm apparently not allowed to do that even though it's not even close to being child abuse and no one else is willing to do a damned thing about her behaviour.

So you are thinking to remove yourself from the situation for a bit? Wise idea if no one will do anything or let you do anything to curb the child.

Yeah...but with the heat outside...I'm not supposed to be in 75+ degree temperatures due to being born with a heart murmur and having a rare form of epilepsy that's triggered by stress (such as ridiculous heat)

So what did you think of Zig Zag?

That's not good at all. Doesn't give you many options when you need a break from what's going on around you.

I think Zig Zag is cute, not what I expected when I thought of skunk. *laughs* I guess my first thought was, skunk? pew!

*laughs* Well, she is capable of that. In fact, that's how she got Darke Katt working for her. The poor little kitten bit off more than she could chew by cutting off the tip of Zig Zag's tail, shaving the rest of it, and chopping her hair short. Zig hunted her down, they fought, she ended up dominating the little wench, and then offered her a job. What she didn't tell Darke was that the job would be janitor.

How did she get Zig Zag to hold still for the shaving and chopping??

Did it when she was asleep, if I remember correctly. It's a love hate relationship, though there are some joke skits which seem to indicate that she really doesn't mind as much as her foul mouth seems to let on.
