5. Mary O'Hara, Johnny Washbrook

Nope this is wrong I am afraid..... so # 5 is still open to someone who hasn't already guessed on this picture.

I am off to eat now folks. :)

ADMISSION TIME

Sweet_n_Curious PMd me to say that while naughtyxgirl's answer was wrong (I stated the 40s TV series).... there was NO series in the 40s, so perhaps she is right and should be given a point....

And that is what I am going to do...

For those interested... here's how I made my mistake.....

I was debating whether to ask for the child star of the 40s film.... or the 50s TV series. I settled on the 40s film (Roddy McDowell) but when I typed the question my brain was still in 'series' mode and I typed TV series rather than movie. Totally 100% my fault.

So.. apologies to all who I caused to waste their time scratching their heads looking for a 40s series that didn't exist!!

And a point to naughty for being right in the question I ALMOST asked...

Sorry again folks..... I'll install some stocks and pillories and you can throw rotten fruit and tomatoes at me.... I'm kinda hungry. And I'll be safe from the girlies anyway.. their aim sucks.... right? ;) :p

Sorry NCM.... they are albums (and actually a 4th.. Emotional Rescue made it both sides)..... I wanted singles.

Thanks for trying though. :)

3. Honky Tonk Women (1969), Paint It Black (1967), Get Off Of My Cloud (1965) and (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (1965)

I know you asked for three, but according to multiple sources, the UK and US shared four number one singles. I was going to PM you, but it's late and I thought I would answer before someone else got it and let you decide. Hopefully that wasn't the wrong decision
