As I have done with the Movie picture thread I run... I propose to run mini-tourneys up to... say 25..... and once someone gets 25... the top threee get god silver and bronze and get put into the hall of fame..... we then reset and start at zero.

How does this sound?

I think it might entice peple to join who have been put off by the high scores in the past.

What do people think? Also... would it be better to start it here or another thread.

ALL views appreceated (please don't say it's up to me.... I am genuinely interested in what appeals to people, and want to do what the majority want, so this is your chance folks)

The truth is though, response to this thread though has been generally poor of late, so maybe people are bored of it. The movie ones seem more popular.

If low numbers reply with a preference either way, I'll assume there's no demand.

Please keep this going - I am on the West Coast of the US so I get to this last ... Would hate to see this one disappear ...

Will make sure that I respond when I get online ...

Keep in mind that it is also Summer Holiday time here in the US - schools closed - people are travelling - so people may not be online as much as they would have outside of the summer months ...

I don't think it's boredom ... I agree with the others that it's summer.

In my case, I work with a small group, all with many years experience and long vacations coming up. I expect my free time to dry up a bit myself ... but only to mid August rolls around again.

Love the tourney idea...and maybe a new thread would be easier...

I don't think people are bored with this DB...it's just lit in general that is a little slow and many threads seem to be quieter than normal...it'll pick up again I'm sure.
