I've been here what seems like an awfully long time. It's 10 years today. I'm also right here at 40,000 posts. It seems like the time is right to step back a bit. Although I've made a lot of friends and acquaintances and had a lot of fun, I've now got fewer reasons to be here. It's time to take a break.

I'll be lurking a bit for a while, no doubt. I've taken breaks before and Lit is a lot like Hotel California in the old Eagles song, you can check out anytime but you can never truly leave.
