Yes, I know you're not here any more, but this is where I met you, so this is where I'll tell you.

I don't love you any more. In fact, I no longer respect you at all.

I feel the loss of you every day in so many small, yet practical ways. The loss of time, the lack of security, my dwindling options, the choices I never imagined I'd have to make, the fear that I'll lose everything important to me.

I didn't deserve this and it's no consolation at all to know that your life is now empty and meaningless.

Would it make you feel better to know that I intend to survive this with my heart, mind and body intact? My life is hard at times, but it's far from empty and meaningless. I plan to find that joy and fulfilment again, even if I have to search for the rest of my life. Thanks to you, I know exactly what I'm looking for.

I'd tell you to live well and be happy, but I suspect the choices you've made preclude that. I genuinely hope you find peace one day.
