Dear Our-Mama-Didn't-Raise-Us-Right Litsters,

Just because you lose interest in the middle of a conversation doesn't mean it's okay to skip out without saying Goodbye.

I don't care if this is Lit, that's just plain rude and unnecessary.

Have some couth next time, and make your apologies before you go.

Signed, Knock That Shit Off Litster

You go girl! My hats off to ya Wild_Honey!:D

Aside from attempting to add couth to our language, I completely agree with Honey.

Whether someone loses interest, or someone new and shining comes along or there is an unavoidable interruption, you don't just drop out of the conversation, at least with the first two. When I called someone out for it, his response was...."it's the internet".... That doesn't make it okay to be rude and disrespectful.

In the case of the unavoidable interruption, you might not have time to say that you have to go before you are sprung. It happens. At your earliest convenience, you get back to the person and make your apologies. But a month goes by before you send an apology.... It's very poor form... His apology did not get a response.

A little Litequette lesson, but unlikely to be seen by those who need to learn it.

Dear Cross Pollinator,

It's good to see the tendrils of Litiquette reaching far and wide.

Dear Muley Girl Litster...just a reminder......:D

On the day the Mule was born
The nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder
At the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up
Said "leave this Mule alone"
She could tell right away
That I was bad to the bone

I broke a thousand hearts
Before I met the Mulette
I wanna be yours pretty lady
Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honey
That I'm bad to the bone

I make a rich Mulette beg
I'll make a good Mulette steal
I'll make an old Mulette blush
And make a young Mulette squeal
I wanna be yours pretty Mulette
Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honey
That I'm bad to the bone

And when the Mule walks the streets
Kings and Queens step aside
Every Mulette I meet (even though there's only one....:D)
They all stay satisfied
I wanna tell ya pretty lady
Well Ya see I make my own
I'm here to tell ya honey
That I'm bad to the bone

:D:D:D:D:D

Your badder than bad ass Mule Litster......:heart::kiss:

*nods agreeing to everything*

I wish lit had a like button so I could favorite this forever.
So very true. Most never learn or care, unfortunately. :(

Dear Litster,

I can honestly say I wasn't expecting that.

I'm speechless and hurt.

Hurt, I've dealt with before. Speechless does not suit me.

Dear Woeful Aphrodite,

Were you born on a Wednesday? ;)

I don't like hearing that you have been hurt... or speechless. Neither of these fit you...

Don't let the jerks get you down, you are better than they.

Hugging you from here Litster

"Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good in every way."

I heard the poem often told
To me by dearest Nana, old
Indeed I am a Wednesday's child
I am not meek, nor am I mild
Nor fair of face if truth be spake
And grace, she left me in her wake
I've loved and lost, both gave and took
And all my wisdom came from books
My work it keeps my children fed
So we give thanks for daily bread
Full of Woe? I won't deny
For without the low there is no high..

AMEN to this, sister. I don't care if you DID just cum and don't want to get it all over your keyboard, at least come back and cyber-cuddle with me afterwards. I've had this disappearing act happen with someone who definitely should have known better Litiquette.

Dear my all, my M.A. Litster,

It will happen. All of it. I know it as well as you do... It has to happen now, because, well, because I said so.

Just thought I'd remind you ;)

Yours, your C. litster.

Dear SS Litster,

You always know what to say to me. It's as if you're reading my mind. I absolutely know that I'm not the easiest person to deal with, but you do it anyway. You can't *possibly* know how much I appreciate you and your friendship, just know that I do. I'm here for you whenever you need me and even when you don't.

You simply are beautiful. Thank you for you.

-----

Dear Litster,

You continuously surprise me.

No permission has been granted for you to be there, so get out of my head. ;)

Signed,

My-name-isn't-Mary-Litster

Dear Lebkuchen Litster.

I just received your very thoughtful package in the mail. You are a woman of many talents indeed.

Signed,

Missing you here, but two pounds heavier anyway.

Dear Otter Watching Litster
I think we are all shaped by the important people in our lives. I know I have been touched by your honesty, even when it's painful. In this world that can seem like fantasy, you have always been genuine and real. You have shown me that it's possible to live in this Lit world and treat people with the same standards as in real life. I try to live up to your example, and I believe it has made me a better man. Your friendship is something I especially treasure.

A better man for knowing you Litster.

Dear Sir- Friend Litster,

Thank you. :rose:

Signed,

Grateful And Always Aroused By You Litster.

 :D

Dear Oh-So-Wise Litster,

Your spot on my couch is permanent. You know where it is if and when you need it. You've been there for me when I needed a reality check, a listening ear or an encouraging word. Friendships are two way and you've validated that for me more times than I can count.

A wise person once told me, "happiness is what we make of it."

Just wanted to remind you.

:rose:

Signed,

Your Forever Friend Litster

Dear spotted couch Litster,

A little Shout and some elbow grease will probably get that stain out.

You're welcome,

Dear Not-Minding-Your-Own-Beeswax-Litster,

Thank you for the tip!

I will make sure to pick that up at Target on my next trip. ;)

Signed,

Thankful Litster
