I can only speak from experience. Trust is such a hard thing to win back. I've gone to reminding myself DAILY that it is wholly unfair to push others away because of what someone else has done.

With each person you open up to, let their actions be what determines your level of trust. Don't let what someone else did dictate how YOU live your life.

And learn. Take away from this that "now you know" attitude. You will never fail unless you stop trying.

That said, I need to take my own advice.
