What's not Scottish. My grandfather was from Old Kilpatrick and my grandmother from Edinburgh. Her grandfather was gamekeeper at Glamis castle.

*scratches head* I suppose I just assumed it was more French. It's the first syllable that throws me, I guess. The second syllable, yea, I can see as Scots.

Nope my Surname is Flemish or Dutch but my father has Royal Stuart in his background. My mother's parents were from Scotland.
