Dear Ex,
First you gripe and complain when our son goes away for the week with his grandparents because you say you had plans for the two of you. Plans which, by the way, you should've let the custodial parent (that's me) know about if they were actually gonna happen. Then you bitch 'cause you're only going to have him for 2 days...today and tomorrow. Never mind that I'm giving up a day just to keep the peace. THEN, when he's been there less than an hour, he calls me from the farthest reaches of the house to inform me that you're spending your time having a fight with your girlfriend. Geez! You two live together. Y'all can't fight on your own time??? You've got to wait until he's there to hear all the yelling and name-calling? If you remember, that's one of the reasons he and I don't live there any more. Because I didn't want him subjected to things like that on a constant basis. Hmmm...have you noticed that no matter who you live with, there's a lot of yelling going on? Maybe you should step back and see what...or who...the common denominator is in these equations. Meanwhile, STFU and spend some time with your son!
Sincerely,
Grateful for a Peaceful Home
