Well Gryph had showed up and they are still at the mansion. LOL in a nutshell really but that is what had happened plotwise

Oh, and I dyed my hair purple just now...and realized gloves for washing it out should have been used.

Sadly, cherubian seems to be gone from the forum.
My suggestion: After Phyliss and Gryph have finished their business, everybody relaxes, but something happens (fire, attack, etc) and everybody is own his own and runs. Phyliss and Gryph manage to stay together. Verialyn escapes, but is separated from the others. Phyliss realizes that they wont find her by plain searching, and proposes to go to the forges, where they planned to meet before. Even if they do not meet there, they can leave a message for the others.

Would have to be something big that would cause everybody to flee. Bandits would just get slaughtered. A troop of heavy armored and armed knights? Now that would make anybody head for the hills

I like. What about a troop of heavily armed Knights coming to 'punish' or 'arrest' Marcus and the gang for crimes against the 'innocent and pure hearted daughters' of the land. Specifically the daughter of some royalty or higher up family.
