Dems only care about the "oppressed"

what I find ironic is that its the "Dems" policies that make most people poor and "oppressed"

The Clintons have released their tax returns, and have shown that their charitable gifts amount to more than 9.5% of their AGI.

Donald Trump can play the game of donating to specific causes, but until he releases his tax returns or otherwise provides evidence of his charity, the Clintons have the upper hand.

This. No matter how much others here squirm.

So, Trump donated money to a church. BFD.

Not just any church. Trust you not to give it a good look even when it is waved under your nose. It's a church that had said that the flood was God's punishment for the toleration being shown to gays--at least they said that before their pastor's house was flooded. :D

(And I'm not sure the report is even accurate--if it's a lie, it's just in the realm Trump understands, though.)

I read the article. I don't know how reliable the source is, but I don't trust it very much. That's not to say I have any affection for Trump, because I consider him to be possibly the worst candidate in US history. The only person who might be worse is Silly Hillary.

ETA: Except for her own campaign, has Hilly ever donated anything to anybody?

That's why the unemployment numbers are now lower than they were under Baby Bush and the stock market is hitting highs.

Somewhere along the line it's survival of the fittest. The whiners here aren't the fittest. Sorry, Charlie.

You mean like spending her life in public service? Her tax returns show her charitable donations. What do Trump's tax... Oh, that's right. Trump is afraid to release his taxes.

yes cuz obama's ~ Wal Mart/McDonalds jobs are high paying ... idiot

I gave the link in post #29. Not sure about the source. But, here's a later report on a Washington Post check on what Trump actually donated to Louisiana, and apparently the dingbat church he claimed he gave $100,000 claims it hasn't received such a donation:

all this talk about Trump from you, sounds like you have a crush. Does talking about Trump, make you hard? Clearly Trump has balls, unlike Caitlyn Obama

Oh, I don't think you have much company in thinking that Trump has more balls than Hillary Clinton. But I'm happy with you being silly about it. I also don't think that much of anyone gives credence for anything you post. :D

Crushing to think that the obama welfare slaves don't give my posts any credence. I'm nearly upset

Under no circumstances would I ever consider being a politician to be the same as spending one's life in public service. Nor do I consider getting rich at the public trough to be even remotely donating anything to anybody.

Yes (thanks for showing your ignorance on this). The Clintons have released their tax returns to the public every year for the last several decades. They give a little over 10 percent of their income (the traditional church tithe) directly to charity. This is above what they generate by their activities.

Don't you ever do any research before you open your mouth?

Thanks for not entertaining the idea of being a politician. You wouldn't be a very good one. Maybe a Dixiecrat back in the forties in some district owned by your family.

Even if Trump released his tax returns, people would just call bullshit on them and claim they're really Kenyan anyway.

That's a silly teenager thing to post. An adult would have a better excuse for why he won't reveal his tax returns.

Apparently, she has donated (relatively) small amounts to legit recipients but most of her contributions have been to herself and her husband. I'm glad you have verified what I said.

Umm, no. Thanks for verifying that you completely ignore anything that doesn't serve your prejudices.

As for charitable donations, the Clintons gave just under $15 million over the eight-year period, which is 10.8 percent of their total income. The vast majority of that — about $14.8 million — went through the Clinton Family Foundation, the vehicle the Clintons frequently use to make personal donations, and another $57,000 went to the Clinton Global Initiative. The Clintons' other donations were to the Nelson Mandela Foundation ($60,000), Humana Challenge ($46,000), the First Methodist United Church ($20,000), Exploring the Arts ($4,100), St. Stephen's Armenian Apostolic Church ($2,500) and the Hot Springs Class of '64, Bill Clinton's high school graduating class in Arkansas ($200).
